Is there a way to not join a crowed server?
Born Homicidal replied to VICKSUN's question in Questions & Answers
All great solutions to the issue you have, but also there is the option of joining up with a posse or crew, I've noticed when ee have a decent/big group people dont tend to shoot on site, bug us or even troll/grief us. -
What do you think of this set up? (Ability Cards)
Born Homicidal replied to Born Homicidal's question in Questions & Answers
those rounds are OP lol, literally will destroy anything -
I used the In Game camera (online mode), then i uploaded it to rockstars social club in game (in the menu options). As for Screenshots on the actual Xbox i go on the PC and just right click and Save As to my desktop. hope this helps

Will rockstar continue making patches
Born Homicidal replied to chitt34's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
If we're being honest Rockstar could have just completely disabled the use of cheats for this game entirely. -
What do you think of this set up? (Ability Cards)
Born Homicidal replied to Born Homicidal's question in Questions & Answers
Glad to hear you enjoy free aim. True it seems slippery bastard would be very beneficial against the auto aimers, but considering the amount it costs to upgrade to lvl 3 would it be a good investment if free aim lobbies came out? Hmmm well then again who knows if and when they'll come out so maybe I'd actually get that and combine it with never without one to get the full effect. Thanks for your input. -
We have a Topic for In-game names but haven't seen one for photos of people's character so I thought I'd make one so we can all share our unique custom made toons and either be impressed, or enjoy a few laughs. (let's say a limit of maybe 5 photos) So what do your characters look like?? I'll go ahead and start with my character. Wahkan Makostah: (Translated to): Sacred White Bear

Born Homicidal posted a question in Questions & Answers
So I'm Level 41 and I haven't upgraded any of my abilities as I'm waiting for lvl 50 to unlock them all, anyways this is my planned set up and was wondering what you all think of it. any suggestions and feedback are welcomed, just please explain the pros and cons etc... I am a free aim player so I usually go for Body shots and get the headshot here and there and won't be affected by not being able to lock on, so some of these definitely help my playstyle better My setup would involve any of these abilities (in no order): compliments to the RDR2.ORG staff for making these ability card guides so I can copy and paste. dead eye: Slow and Steady The Slow and Steady Ability Card allows players to take less damage while in Dead Eye, and any headshots you receive will not be lethal. The downside is that it's not possible to sprint and run. or Slippery Bastard The Slippery Bastard Ability Card radically changes Dead Eye, as it prevents players from getting locked on by enemies. As a downside, the user also cannot lock onto enemies. Enemies' accuracy is also reduced, and the Dead Eye bar drains much faster than usual. Perk 1: Winning Streak The Winning Streak Ability Card increases damage for each consecutive shot at the same target. Perk 2: Peak Condition The Peak Condition Ability Card increases damage dealt to enemies if the Stamina bar is at least 75% full. Perk 3: Strange Medicine The Strange Medicine Ability Card restore some health every time the player deals damage to enemies. Normal health regeneration, however, is cut in half. or Never without One The Never Without One Ability Card protects players from a single headshot when the hat is equipped. Damage, however, is increased when not equipping one. thanks for your help and thoughtful suggestions/feedback. -
I'm gonna go ahead and assume you tried restarting your game?

I believe you're referring to them using Dead Eye, whenever anyone activates it they will pop up with an oval shaped circle with an X in the middle. Unless its just an X by itself then it is a dead NPC if its dark they haven't been looted, if its kind of fading then they have been looted. hope this helps

Do you like cats. The digital ones?

This has probably been gone over at nauseum but...
Born Homicidal replied to BigShaunPolk's question in Questions & Answers
Of course there is not end date to this "beta" I actually brushed the fact that they said "coming months" on an update but now I realize how this beta is gonna still be in beta for months. Smh that's way too long unless it's a month or two hell even 3 is borderline okay -
Barely Anyone Is Finishing Red Dead Redemption 2
Born Homicidal replied to NewsBot's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
Im sorry but to whoever you quoted. they definitely aren't gamers, more of a bandwagoner imo. 1st if they actually continued to play the story you actually get all your items back. 2nd It actually makes you feel desperate for a well liked character and you hope for a cure and wonder if at any moment he will drop dead or not. I personally was hoping there was some sort of cure. looked hopeful when rainfalls comes into play. (I guess a slight spoiler but if you're on RDO instead of playing the story then that's what happens) 3rd Yes its showing you that John was actually trying to be a law abiding man, and had to follow the rules and work humble jobs, not just getting in there and owning everything, pfft do you people lack imagination or understanding?? what you expected to be a billionaire after you literally lost everything John even mentions that they were robbed on the road. I'm all for bashing Rockstar for their current Online (im one of the few that thinks they started off horribly) but their single player was amazing, and was so damn good that I wish it kept going. I definitely believe it was one of the best falling at the top of the line with gears, halo, Last of Us and Detroit Become Human (best game ever story wise) I honestly hope people reconsider their choices and come back to rdr2's story not even to rdo, to finish it rather than hoping on their shooting games where they do the same repetitive shoot and kill they do in any game. -
*~The Born Brothers Gang~* (Xbox)
Born Homicidal replied to Born Homicidal's topic in Posse Recruitment
OUR DISCORD IS FISNISHED AND HAS RELEASED: feel free to ask for an invite if interested -
For those who have never heard of us before, we are The Born Brothers. We are not a clan nor are we just a posse, we are a well established brotherhood which originates from a group of people who have known each other for years in real life and Xbox who truly consider each other Brothers. Who have also led a successful movement in the Red Dead Redemption world during the first game. In Red Dead Redemption 2, you will see us riding together, patrolling the wild lands of the American West. We are a respectful posse led by Native Americans (in game characters). We never shoot at others unless we are shot at first or sense real hostility. We are a skillful gang that never uses auto-aim and even helps non-allied players at times. While we are friendly towards others, players who cross or disrespect us will always be met with a relentless justice. Together we: Hunt, Take stranger missions, Do gang hideouts, Occasional posse wars, and many more activities which involve the whole crew. (Meetings, story missions, promotional ceremonies, fight clubs, light role playing, and much more). We are in search of like-minded dedicated players interested in earning a place among our ranks who value Honor, Integrity, skill, and are looking to expand their experience within the Red Dead World beyond what the game has to offer. Visit us on our Website for more info: thebornbrothers.com We have a unique ranking structure derived from our ranks in the first game, adapted for a broader reach that fits with any character type that joins us, because although we're a crew led by Native characters we are open to everyone who is embracing the new lands and way of life. Those who do wish to be a part of the Brotherhood will be placed in our Prospect rank and will undergo a trial period where they will show whether or they are a good fit and decide if this is the crew they have been looking for. Once proving you are a capable warrior with honor and skill you will then become an Official Born Brother/Sister who will earn our lowest but highly regarded rank of Pathfinder where you will be given the opportunity to be more involved with the gang and achieve higher ranks. In time, you may gain the power to start recruiting like-minded individuals, create and develop an immersive backstory for your character where it would be displayed on the website for all to see (under the About Us page), create War Stories regarding events, battles and interactions within the Red Dead world which will also be displayed on the website, and to choose a specialized division amongst our ranks that matches your combat tactics and playstyle under a specified Warchief (Regardless everyone should be able to fight with all styles). Other responsibilities and roles can include: scout, escort, driver, assassin, supply runner, hunter, messenger, and more. Below are a couple of our ranks and their descriptions that fully captivate your growth, level of commitment, and loyalty you have shown in the Born Brothers Gang. Requirements: MUST PLAY ON FREE AIM or willing to adapt a Free Aim skillset for free aim lobbies in the future. We play mainly on Defensive Mode. Have a functioning Mic. Be in any of the USA time zones. Be Active. 17+ years of age. (exceptions will be made based on maturity) Your character must be the same gender as you are or identify as (for immersion). (requirements may be updated or changed entirely at any time). As stated above for those who are interested in Becoming a part of something greater than PvPing, grinding, being a lonewolf upon full release or a part of a Brotherhood in the Red Dead world beyond the features presented as well as other games then feel free to either Message me directly on the forums via messages or on this thread of recruitment otherwise you can go and click on the actual Posse page on these forums: The Born Brothers Gang and request to join and we will contact you shortly after. Also you could add any of the following people of the High Council: Born A Beast (Chieftain), Born Defiant (The Praetor), Born Homicidal (The Commissar), Born Vigorous (Warchief) via Xbox to get more information as well as the opportunity to become a brother or sister. Go forth in glory and may we see you on Red Dead! (Rules and an Application may be added in the near future).

die without being able to defend yourself
Born Homicidal replied to peppino79's topic in Red Dead Online
happened to me as well when I first started the game, I was pissed off no doubt. Anyways it seem that the game loads your character into the lobby before you actually are finished loading in, I'm not sure how exactly all the technological/"geek" mechanics go into it (I wish I was that smart when it came to developing) but it appears the game loads your character in and then continues to load some other aspects/features to your console so that's the reason why you're able to die but not even be in control yet. A. I hope im right if not then oh well lol B. Hope this makes any sense at all. -
Guess the best solution would be to have the ability have a delay of when they can go back to auto aiming. Should go to rosckstars feedback page and suggest it. As I mentioned if you used free aim you would never have an issue with any slippery bastard wielder as it wont affect you what so ever. Of course auto aimers would have an advantage but overall it enhances the experience and gives you some pride in killing people rather than the aim, flick up and shoot method oh and add in the .22 caliber varmint rifle to that.
-
Yes, switch to Free Aim in the settings, stop relying on a horrible aim bot and you won't ever have an issue with it. The only nonsense from Rockstar is that there aren't any free aim lobbies.

The most under skilled griefer ever!
Born Homicidal replied to Jackthestripper's topic in Red Dead Online
i cant even see his dot on the map lol, but first time he shot you were in the "safe" zone near a stranger mission so he couldn't lock on. After that when you switched sides he was in the "safe" zone area so once again he was unable to lock on. I believe that's what happened here -
Yup and that update alone is a bit worrying. Hope they add on more features in the update that they aren't mentioning

Why would you or do you lower the camp flag??
Born Homicidal replied to Major Dammidge's question in Questions & Answers
I'm sorry my friend i don't see the game ever having PvE servers implemented as its a PvPvE game unless they add private lobbies or solo lobbies. As far as the Camp flag thing works it seems it only work within the radius of it (the annoying speed trap area), otherwise anyone can attack you from a far. Not sure if its a rare Bug or its like that by default. I killed someone in their camp as they attacked us (a posse of 3) I figured it was just because he was Hostile but guess not -
Yes do it all the time now, but eventually it will kick me off. I have a female Arabian fully decked out (mane and tail). Looks gorgeous named her: Kali (Goddess of Destruction)
