  1. I’m pretty sure your horse can still be killed... that being said, I went through the whole beta phase and I can tell you I’ve died a whole lot more than Red Liquor... I don’t know why your horse getting temporarily killed would bother you so much (I’m sure you have your reasons) but you have to accept the fact that having your horse out puts it in danger.
  2. Me? I just like finally having some purpose to it all... be it hunting, exploring, PvP conflicts... it’s all (mostly) for a reason now.
  3. That is exactly why my proposal would work... go to the post office, pay your bribe and the NPCs would leave you alone... however, your elite bounty hunters can still come after you (maybe make it about 25% of your total accumulated bounty) until it is collected. Too badass for NPC bounty hunters to handle outlaws require badass bounty hunters to hunt them down...
  4. Nah, no gold reward... allow them to pay off the NPC bounty hunters, but keep a player bounty intact until it’s successfully collected (NPCs won’t bother them, but players still can). It would represent them being such a badass that only the elite bounty hunters (the players) would dream of going after them... but the NPC bounty hunters will leave them be to do their best hint in their he mean time...
  5. Personally, I use the varmit rifle and the bolt action for 99% of my hunting. The how, when I’m in the mood is mostly for deer sized game for me. I’ll break it out if I’m running low on rifle ammo and still want to hunt on my way (you get your arrows back). I do have the small game pamphlet, I just never bothered with them online. it’s also good if you’re soloing a hideout or a bounty hunt and you want to thin out the enemy population a little bit without raising an alarm...
  6. When I was camped near Rhodes I spent a day hog tying people from the Manor and throwing them on my camp fire... I had quite the pile going....
  7. Personally, I spend maybe a day or two a week, no more than 3 hours a session. I’m not rich, but I never have trouble buying what I want. I have enough gold to fancy up my guns, pay for my roles etc without whipping out the credit card. I don’t have all my ability cards maxed out... or all the ability cards for that matter, just the ones I use. I’m not unstoppable PVP but I can put up a fight and don’t feel all that outgunned even by those over double my level.... Just play the game and your character will grow.
  8. Just buy a .22 lol.
  9. Yeah... I’ve managed to avoid spending money on horses so far with the PS4 freebies... I mean, part of me wants to experiment with other horses, but as soon as I get some cash in my pocket I tend to spend it like a drunken sailor on shore leave...
  10. I cost more than an old stolen wagon....
  11. Hate to be the one to break it too you, but doing the long delivery just puts you at risk. That’s why it pays more. Also, I’ve personally never noticed the animals so bad it takes five hours to find one... when the spawns are bad, I just jump servers and it seems to fix it. As for the camp, well, it might not always end up where I want it, but even with the bugs it doesn’t take me more than about 10-15 minutes of screwing around to set one up (while doing other things such as a bounty) though I agree that bugs making life difficult is annoying. Now what this has to do with someone else (or multiple someone else’s) using the game mechanics to rob you and save themselves the hassle of hunting and screwing with their camps (you know, kind of like an outlaw in the Wild West Might actually do) I’m not so sure. You are after all volunteering to make the long delivery and expose yourself greater risk, and they’re just playing with it the mechanics of the game to profit off of you. I get it can be frustrating, but there are things you can do to lower your exposure, such as making a local delivery for less money, or teaming up with a posse to make delivery runs. Bottom line, if someone jacks your long delivery, they likely aren’t doing it just to make you feel bad. They are just using the game as designed to boost their supplies. They likely don’t know more information than some guy is making a delivery and there are no dots around him, easy target for some quick free supplies. And Honestly, it’s your own fault for making the long run alone. I mean, I do it frequently myself, and if someone comes for my wagon I fight like the devil to keep it. But I like the challenge. When I’m not in the mood to take the risk or fight players I’ll stick to a local delivery.
  12. What you want to use is eagle eye and look for the little particles floating up from pick-able herbs... I don’t know the PC buttons to turn it on. As for lassoing deer, the only real way is to charge after them on your horse with no regard for breaking his leg (he won’t break his leg, though you may crash into something).
  13. Lasso a deer (or antelope etc.) and kill it with your knife... sell to butcher... repeat a few times and stock up on ammo...
  14. No, I actually run solo most of the time. I also don’t tend to steal wagons all that often, maybe once in a blue moon if I happen to see one and I’m not in the middle of something else. But if I did steal your wagon, not only would it not be griefing (you are allowed to steal a wagon from a rival and it’s actually encouraged. Not to mention well within the theme of being a Wild West outlaw) but I’m really not put out all that badly if you destroyed your wagon. I won’t get the free supplies, sure, but I wasn’t likely banking on them anyway. It was merely an opportunity for a little bonus to me. At the end of the day, I’m out 10 seconds to respawn and get my bearings and I go on with my day. You are the one out all that work that never translated into money. I’d personally make the effort to actually recover my wagon. running local deliveries is a good strategy if you are not willing to take the risk of being robbed. There is a reason you get payed more for the long delivery...
  15. Maybe on pc... but I only know console and that would be a huge pain... also, the voice chat is proximity based On console, so I’d imagine if PC did add text chat it would be much the same. If nobody is nearby, you don’t ‘hear’ anybody.
  16. Well, what I like to do is whistle my horse as I’m driving the wagon... this way, if I do get attacked, I have trusty old Red Liquor close by. I’ll temporarily abandon the wagon, fend of the attacker(s) on the much more mobile horse, then jump back to the wagon to try to finish the run. Not really... sure, I may have to respawn, but I don’t really loose anything when you destroy your own wagon, just you do. I’d just laugh and move on with my day.
  17. No, I think once in long distance delivery, you are placed into a ‘mission’ sort of mode, basically you become fair game for anyone in the mood to mess with you.
  18. I can Definitely see a ‘Law and Disorder’ update dropping over the winter...
  19. The truth is, in my story above, I simply managed to get to my camp before they could respawn, reorganize and come after me again. It had nothing to do with ability cards, it was simply auto aim combined with close range shotgun blasts that got me out of that jam (did I ever mention I love the LeMattes). Once I got to camp and unloaded my junk, they had little desire to wait me out. Would have likely been a different story had I been further out. I was also set up behind the mansion south of Rhodes and I suspect these two were waiting for the camp owner to come back with some quick easy loot... though why they didn’t shoot me In the back instead of lasso me I’ll never know...
  20. Not enough white lightning... As much as I’d like to take credit, I have to admit. It wasn’t me.... It was The Liquor... Seriously though, it’s not that often I actually come across a true griefer... and the ones I do encounter after the update are more like my story above. A minor setback. Maybe they steal my cougar if they get the upper hand. Not the end of the world and almost never does is spiral into map spanning all day death matches anymore. 99% of the people I come across seem to be just interested in doing their own thing and leaving others be.
  21. I still don’t find it more of a problem than the occasional annoyance... yesterday I was riding back from a hunting trip with a cougar and stack of pelts for Cripps... I saw a couple guys in a two man posse. I changed course to finish the ride to camp cross country pushing Red Liquor as hard as he could run. They chased, started getting close... I was lassoed off my horse but escaped quickly, they were on either side of me. With lightning reflexes I drew my LeMatts and put a shotgun round into each of them. I was able to remount and ride the rest of the way to camp before they caught up again... It actually made the last leg of the journey a bit more interesting if you ask me... Normally I’m not bothered by others.
  22. Not a bad idea... I think the combined resources of all the posse members should be available in the posse camp. When you join a posse, you bring your camp equipment, recipes, guns and everything else for the communal use of all posse members. Leave the posse you take it with you.
  23. LMAO.... I’ll need to recruit a Bobandy into the Liquor Snurfs if this happens...
  24. A double-double post??? Never mind... must have been a glitch on my end LOL
