I understand that. The similarity in their dress didn't dawn on me until after he had despawned. Not the first time I brainfarted and didn't screencap something bizarre, unfortunately. I'll check back in on him regularly (much to his chagrin 😆) and get a screenshot next time. How many different attire combos can he have, after all?

I decided to swing by the Hermit's house north of Annesburg. He came charging out yelling at me to leave, as usual, but this time I noticed he was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans. Now, a short, aggressive tempered cowboy wearing a big white hat, red shirt, blue jeans and holding a double barreled shotgun? Who does that remind you of?

Some animals seem to spawn exceptionally rarely. I'm having a hell of a time finding devon and hereford bulls, for example. I've played the game through prologue to epilogue at least five times now and I've never once seen either.

Robins can also be found pretty reliably on the north end of the second-largest island on the east side of Flat Iron Lake. But they spawn on the ground where they're hidden by vegetation, so be ready with an equipped weapon (the bow with small game arrows works best since they're on the ground) and full Dead-Eye meter before you approach. A crow will spawn perched on the old wagon in front of the abandoned train station north of Shady Belle, just before the bridge that goes into Saint Denis.

The option to skip it for those that want to do so wouldn't hurt, though.

There were a few times I got carcasses and saved them for later hunting quests, but that glitch didn't happen to me. Are we sure it didn't get patched? Really, though, if simply reloading a save is enough to fix it like that explanation suggests, I'd take the few minutes for the game to reload over hours of hunting for a given animal in a heartbeat.

Yeah, they'll count. Try to make a mental note of all the animals needed and nab them if you see them at any time, because they seem to get harder to find when you're actually looking for them. And keep in mind that the final list can only be completed as John in the epilogue.

Carcasses in your satchel don't rot.

If you've uncovered the area on your map, it will be marked by a small white icon with a dollar sign ($). Truthfully, I've never gotten this home invasion mission because I always hit the location as early as I can to get the Browning A5 that can be found in the cellar. I'm trying to tell you based on the given hints. Just get on that east-to-west road on the Little Creek River's north side and ride along it, the path that leads to the cabin is marked by a dotted line and is easily found. Alternatively, if you still can't find it, just suck it up and click the spoiler below. Trust me, brah, there's so much hidden in this game that you practically need a guide to find some things. It's nothing to be ashamed of and no one here's going to rag on you about it. 🙂

Then I still have no use for the game. Honestly, if I want to play a lone operative on a stealth mission, I can pop MGS4 or Splinter Cell Blacklist into my PS3. You know, games that are actually designed around this idea rather than having it shifted onto me because the developers don't like that I'm not interested in co-op.

Will it include offline play and AI teammates?

I'll have to go get the white one and compare them. I only have the red one right now, since I usually get a good quality horse in the beginning and stick to it for my duration as Arthur. I save the "collecting" for the endgame with John. Does the black Arabian that can be bought in Saint Denis have different stats from the white one? If not, then there's probably a good chance they're all the same. Edit: According to the other Red Dead Wiki's page for the Arabian, the red chestnut one is the worst of the Arabians. https://reddead.fandom.com/wiki/Arabian#Coat_styles The rose grey bay version that can be bought from the Blackwater stables in the epilogue seems to be the best one.

There's also a chestnut red Arabian that can be found in the woods south of Lake Owanjilla. I found him by chance a few days ago and tamed him. I named him Mr. Ed.

He means the regular moose.

You get everything back after returning from Guarma. I do it right before I do the final mission as Arthur.
