I found Groot in RDR2. lol
-
One of the leaked screenshots. Anything look familiar to you? 😄
-
A list of gameplay features found in the leak. (Sorry for the long post) As expected, a number of features from RDR2 are present, such as a limited on-person arsenal. A duffel bag system seems to play the same role as the saddle in RDR2.

Rockstar released a statement that they anticipated no delays. And yeah, the hacker supposedly stole the source code for both GTAV and GTA6 and was demanding "no less than six figures" for them. But there are conflicting reports that they were identified and arrested, in hiding, etc.

I imagine there will be a lot of reused assets simply because, from an architecture standpoint, a brick building or drywall interior will look the same in Florida as it does in California. But in the screenshot above, pretty much everything except the female NPC in front of Lucia looks ready for gold to me. Considering GTAV was rereleased for a third time and about the only bad press I saw for it was that this "Expanded and Enhanced" version's announce trailer was made with PS4 graphics and wasn't really expanded or enhanced, I honestly don't think there would be much of an issue. It being "old media" doesn't make a difference when there are calls for disclaimers about "outdated views" and other nonsense to be added before movies like Gone with the Wind which remains a timeless classic despite the push to vilify every tiny thing about the pre-Civil War American South. I'm not going to jump to conclusions about GTA6 simply because we don't know much of anything about it to begin with. The two rednecks arguing over the existence of Finland is classic GTA, though. Diversity where it's warranted is one thing, but diversity just for the sake of diversity (as in, say, Assassin's Creed Odyssey) is every bit worthy of criticism. Modern day Miami isn't short on diversity, so its GTA counterpart shouldn't be either. As far as looking like "real people," even the old Victoria's Secret models who largely made that perfect hourglass figure so popular and desired were real people, so unless Lucia has four arms, four legs, and a pair of dragonfly wings, there's no strict set of criteria that defines what makes her or anyone else "real." No, the main thing that I took away from that was how some people's priorities are arranged. "This game terrible, it's going to be so wo---OH MY GOD, LOOK AT THAT ASS!" 😆
-
For only a year old, I'd say this looks pretty far along. By contrast, this was Spider-Man at the same point in development. On a side note, I just love how every argument for the game being "woke" ended the moment people saw Lucia's ass. 🤣

So, thoughts on the recent GTA6 leak?
-
Is anyone else having this issue with FFF where the word "Message" overlays the timer at the top of the screen?
-
So here's a fun thing I just found out. During duels, if you're fast enough, you can actually shoot your opponent's gun out of his holster before he even draws it.

The black one is the best one Arthur can get. The best one in the game is the rose gray one that John can buy from the Blackwater stable.
-
If you get killed or otherwise lose the parts, they get automatically delivered to the trapper. You just don't get the payout.
-
Arthur and John have unique reactions to catching legendary fish. Also, sometimes the map will glitch out and not cross off ones that have been caught, so when in doubt, check the fish compendium.

I don't think Rockstar has to fear any flops. GTA6 is going to be hugely successful just by virtue of being GTA6. It's going to be a day 1 preorder for millions upon millions of gamers. The same will be true of the inevitable RDR3. Know the old saying "The only certain things in life are death and taxes"? Well, we can pretty much amend that to death, taxes, and Rockstar Games making billions.

So, I recently sent in support tickets for both GTA5 and RDR2 dealing with issues in Story Mode. In both instances, the responses sent back referenced the games' online components and I've had to reiterate that the problems I was having were not in GTAO or RDO. Has anyone else experienced this?
-
Yeah, I could have been more specific in where it was. Sorry. 🙃

The guns were originally exclusive to Red Dead Online, but were added to Story Mode in the 1.15 update. The Evans can be bought from any gun shop, the High Roller from any fence, and the LeMat and M1899 from the Saint Denis gun shop. I don't know which individual missions exactly unlock them all, but I know the High Roller is unlocked after completing the riverboat robbery in Chapter 4. If you have a save with the story complete at least up to Beaver Hollow, you should be able to go to all these places and pick them up. I'm disappointed that they didn't add the Navy Revolver, though. It was released into Online not long before 1.15. If you've played the special/ultimate editions, then you haven't missed anything in the regular one. It's the other way around: regular edition people who miss out on content from those editions.
-
I would imagine it's some kind edition bonus, but I don't know the details. It was added in the same update that added the Evans repeater, LeMat revolver, High Roller revolver and M1899 pistol to the game. There are four other new trinkets added as well. The Cat Eye Trinket can be found in a lock box on one of the islands west of Braithwaite Manor, the Raven's Beak Trinket is the final reward for the Elemental Trail treasure hunt, and Hawk Talon Trinket can be found in a lock box at a destroyed camp at Deadboot Creek in Grizzlies West, and the Turtle Shell Trinket can be found beneath some stairs on the largest building at Gaptooth Breach.

Ridiculous oversight in Rhodes in Chapter 3
Parzival replied to ducjky's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
I would suggest reporting it to Rockstar Support as a potential bug. -
I lost my game, cuz RS wants me to buy it all over again

Keep in mind that Steam's refund policy states that you can get a refund for any reason within two weeks of puchase and less than 120 minutes of playtime. That way if Rockstar sorts your problem out, you won't be out however much Steam charged. -
A true beacon of humanity, that man is. 😆

You guys know that random encounter where the two Murfree Brood are driving a wagon full of corpses and a screaming woman? So, I'm riding through the bayou, see the wagon, hear the screaming, and shoot the Murfree like I've done hundreds of times before. Well, this time, the guy in the right seat drops a Yellowboy when he dies, which then falls to the ground and slam fires ... killing the horse pulling the wagon. 🤣

This scene from RDR: Undead Nightmare should characterize him quite well for you. Don't worry, the trapper (indeed, any shop owner you "kill") may chastise you for a time after, but you won't be prevented from doing business with him.
-
Have you tried waiting a few in-game days? All the times I've killed a shop owner, it results in his shop being closed for a few days. I'd know, I tend to shoot Herbet Moon ... a lot. If you haven't already, I would definitely report this to Rockstar support. In the mean time, you can sell pelts to the butcher if you need to offload them.

I'm beginning to wonder if we need to rename the site to RDR2notaffiliatedwithrockstargames.org. 😆
