I agree 100% I could not understand why so many ppl complained about griefers when i never met any or was griefed since i started playing in february. Currently lvl 123 I would love the game to be harder - hrder to achieve money. lvls maybe some punishment upon death. I would like to start a new char as well. Was thinking about deleting my current character but i guess the update hits soon and they will implement it. Actually i wouldn't mind a wipe when the beta ends. Now at high lvl i just march in everywhere i want and even noticed that somehow ppl i encounter dont attack me anymore. Actually i went full dishonorable yesterday (was always honorable) to be the red dot. Maybe ill get more action that way

For me it has to be explosive ammo and dynamite arrow 2nd (or 3rd) place is the MFT - damn that horse is fine. There are some days that i dont use the ammo but when i start playing the first thing i ll do is refill animal fat For me its too fast as well im used to much harder grind. I have same opinion on that matter.

Same here. I dont understand why R* will not publish some iformation about the mechanics of it. I mean stuff like does the improvement apply to one weapon of each type (one pistol,rewolver,reapeter and carabine)? Im really getting into the springfield rifle but i dont want to loose the stats on my bolt action; will the stats be downgraded when i start to use the springfield over bolt action? Does it only apply for just ONE weapon etc.

I saw an upload on YT #OutlawGarry when he used the carts to pick up bigger fish. He said that You need a 2 wheel cart to do it properly bcoz animals tend to fall out of the 4 wheeled ones. It was kinda tricky to get the cart positioned and avoid a dynamite while packing it lol. The whole process was a bit too long and a bit risky for me so i never tried that. (Im not a griefer or a shoot everything on sight type of player but i would be very, very strongly tempted to throw a unstable dynamite in the cart if i saw one ) For me the best way is gathering feathers of birds bcoz they sell really good and You can stack them up when You know the spawn locations of birds. They also dont despawn after Your horse got shot/blown to bits or when you go to join a mission or pvp match. I actually stopped gathering pelts and carcasses. I only gather feathers and meat, paws, teeth and use fast travel to change to other species/spawn locations. That is the best way for me atm. In the future i bet they will intorduce those bcoz they already said that they want to implement farming....... You need something to transport goods.

Well it depends.... Im currently lvl 118 and still grinding for cash. - I have 2 horses MFT and ARABIAN with special saddles -have 15 tier 3 ability cards (making my final 16th card today) - maybe ill do one more to complete my set -Weapons maxed out and customized (lancaster, dual schofileds, bolt action, springfield, dual sawed offs, special shotgun, semi-automatic shotgun, Varmint rifle, Reapeter shotgun) - only one camp upgrade - a few cosmetic items (im not really into it but i try to make my character look as close as possible to Wild Bill Hickok. What i still need : - One more aility card - One more horse - dual pistols - a couple of recipes - Some outfits - Full camp upgrade So im guessing another 8-9 k $ and then i can say i have nothing else to spend for until the major update hits. I thnk ill be around 130-135 when i get them.

Damn i get your frustration. As for myself i noticed that when you use too many tonics in pvp games it will add weight so i try not to pop em like tic tacs. Too loose weight ( i was super overweight too) i stopped using ANY kind of food and been like that since 3 or 4 weeks, I only use brandy or gin when i really need my stamina and dead eye cores up when no time to stop and relax a bit (mostly while beeing "ganked" while skinning an animal or sth). Mostly i just relax and let the cores to be white - or go to camp to fill em up to 100%. You dont really need cores maxed out all the time - just need them white. Also running around to loose weight is a waste of time imo. Also my weight is now "normal" with +7,5% dmg taken and -7,5% stamina usage so for me its very close to be underweight.

Well i have nothing against groups joining. Getting my ass kicked motivates me even more to try harder/be better but hey i respect Your opinion.

I feel You there partner. Although im only lvl 112 when i manage to win and be 1st two, three times in a row sometimes i get voted to kick me. Seen that as well on others that have a good day/winning streak. Im not a Pro but im getting better every week. I also think that voting to kick some1 should be taken off. I know after 3 months of play that there are a lot of "kitties" around and sadly a lot of kids playing the game. When i see very good player i want to beat him, not take him out of the game - that is what pussies do.

About the camp : I rarely use it but sometimes when i hunt more then usually to grind $ for something i want i put the camp near the hunting location. The thing is everytime i log in on the next day i have this msg "Cripps has moved Your camp" and the camp is not ingame anymore. Is this normal ?

As said above - i too have no problems finding those bird flocks. There are spawn points You need to learn. The spoonbils tho... yeah. Hard to find. EDIT: What i get frustrated with are birds that fall in deep waters and i can't use lasso to get them.

You dont seem a reason for this but remember that other player might have a reason. IRL for most of us there is no reason for stealing or killing a person BUT there are ppl that have their resons to do it. And finally even if You get killed and loose some pelts or a fish the game doesnt punish You for that. You dont loose your guns, you dont loose exp, you dont loose money. You just spawn near the point were you were killed. The pelts or game lost can be farmed fast. Its not that you loose weeks or even months of play upon death like the games i used to play. Its E-Z. Anyway im of work now so CYA in game - no more forum for me today.

I disagre with You. Online mode generally is NOT a PvE gameplay its PvP - Player versus player. Getting killed by other players is normal in pvp games and beeing killed while skinning or fishing is NOT GRIEFING, its just part of the game. There is nothing stopping You form doing those activities that You mentioned all You have to do is take care of yourself. Personally i would be against pve lobbies and would rather see some kind of karma system. I remind You that there is still story mode where You can hunt and do whatever You want uninterrupted by other players. I consider it the PVE mode.

I figured out that as well bcoz really i havent seen any real griefing in game since i started. I played Lineage 2 (Korean hardcore MMORPG for PC) for a lot of years and when You got on some clan/ally/party KOS list (kill on sight) there were ppl waiting for You everywhere in the world and killing you constantly over and over again making Your gameplay impossible. They would have PK chars (karma chars for killing only) logged off on multiple locations ready to go when needed and watchers (dead characters logged in on multiaccounts so You can scan most popular areas on 2nd monitor). In more severe cases Your account would be hacked by some russian Mr. Robot and all Your items stolen along with Your character being delvled. This is what I consider "griefing". But as You said it's hard to pinpoint what's actually going on because everyone's perspectives is vastly different.

After reading Your post i wanted to check if its there and i found it in 5 secs on google. You can buy those cheats from web sites. Dont know if its legit or just a money scam but R* should really look into this.

Where are those griefers ppl talk about??? For me its Sasquatch of some kind i cant find it ! I play almost every day since feb. Sure there are some ppl sticking a knife in Your neck from time to time while afking ar selling in town but its normal. Dont expect to roam in the wild and nothing happening to You from other players. Expect to happen, anticipate, be ready. The game is about killing. Killing other players and killing animals.

You obviously havent seen or met a "toxic community" - trust me. Yes You paid money for the game but mainly for the story mode - its not that You are paying monthly to play the online mode. If you get killed by some camper just change server - its that simple. There are spawn campers in every game - even when there is a mechanic for spawns to be safe they wait a little bit away from the spawn point and still get You when you leave the safe spot. Its naturall in games like that for players that played for some time and grinded the lvls and cash to get better items/ammo. You want them too? work for them. I dont understand Your logic here im sorry. For the cores - You really dont need them to be full at all times. I havent eaten any food for 2nd week now bcoz i want to be underweight. When your cores are red just sit down for w while they will go white again or max em out in camp fire. About the D/C's - I know that You dont want to hear that but YES IT'S STILL A BETA and things like that can happen. (Had no problems for some time now until yesterday - was DC'ed a couple of times) Seems like You are frustrated with the game. Send You feedback to R*. If You dont like it stop playing it.

Havent had issues like that in pvp games. Only blurred out ppl in free roam for some days but not yesterday. Loosing can get frustrating but try to use that frustration to further mobilize You to be better. I have bad days myself and i bet it applies to anyone. A couple of days ago i had the wors pvp day ever. Could not concentrate, made stupid mistakes, had my ass handed to me. Then comes another day and im in top 3 every match. Hell, 2 days ago some noob (lvl 20ish) tried to kill me from horse back when i was skinning and failed to headshot me. He then run away to escape and i started chasing him. When he realized my horse is faster he took ground and waited for me. I changed ammo for explosive to teach him a lesson, turned my slow and stedy on, took target aaaaand failed, got shot in the head bcoz i forgot to reload my gun...... i was soo angry. After that dude jumped sessions. I would suggest doing "small" showdown series at first. The large ones tend to be more chaotic - You getting shot from many angles bcoz there is more ppl. Once u feel more comfortable You can do the large ones. In the small ones try to take Your time, hide, look around slowly for hiding enemies, try to lock on with aim when looking around - the target can be hidden in bush, you will not see him but the aim will lock on to him. Also i would recommend to change the size of the reticule in options to minimum. The "fat" dot is too big and You can miss the headshot when the target is far away. The small one gives You more precision. Before the shot take time to aim, hold for one sec to make the aim more accurate. Use potions. Never give up You will get better, Also what card layout(s) do You use ?

Yes . I noticed that too. More animals then used to be and they seem to spawn constantly after killing them. No need to session hop anymore.

This +1 I also ignore those invites for same reasons. I would like to find a closed posse and play with some ppl tho eventually.

Currently for me Free roam: - Dual sawed-offs or Dual Schofield (expl ammo) - Bolt Action (my personal best) - Varmint rifle ( for hunting - i also use it in misions if i go in to shoot the birds etc) Pvp : - Dual sawed-offs - Bolt Action - Semi -automatic rifle (changed from repeater shotgun) Now one thing im very very curious of: It was said somwhere that by using a certain gun You can increase its stats a bit and yes i noticed that. I wanted to ask this on forum today. How does it work? does it only apply to one gun of each type? for ex i have a bolt action maxed out on stats - when i start using springfield will the stats on it increase and decrease on bolt action ? or the once increased stats by using a certain weapon stay forever? I bought semi auto shotgun and it sux compared to my repeater shotgun bcoz i have "exped" that shotgun since the start. I would like to exp the other shotgun too what i am doing now and curious about the whole thing. Cant find an explanation nowhere.
