  1. Too often do I see teammates ditch the objective and go off to do their own thing. It's usually at that point that we lose...
  2. As for me, I've got a 24" Super Match M1A. I really love it. It can drive nails for you at 300 yards with irons if you've got some patience. 😁 Also have an M1 Carbine (we had trouble dating it) and a Korean War era Garand that's just loads of fun to shoot. All are really good rifles (well, not the Carbine, that's not a rifle hehe...). I have always loved those old Walnut-clad firearms. My main beef with them is that they are a little on the weighty side, but that's not a big problem... They all work well and I haven't had any major difficulties with them throughout the time I have owned them 😉
  3. Thanks a bunch! This is exactly what I needed!
  4. 'Nuff said. I'm partial to a bit of Dire Straits and Eagles. Mark Knopfler is brilliant with that guitar of his. 70's and 80's rock music for me, as well as a bit of 80's pop music. Modern Rap and such Not so much (at all)... What about you?
  5. I've been looking at a RIA 1911 for a while now. Pretty inexpensive at about 300-400 dollars, and they seem to work pretty well.
  6. This thread evolved quickly lol All jokes aside, that 1911 is seriously nice!
  7. Free money and cartridges!
  8. There's a 1911 that my dad has, I believe it's a Tenring Custom 1911. It's quite nice, but he doesn't really shoot .45 all that often. As of right now, I'm currently planning on building a nice AR.
  9. It was 95 out here yesterday. Patrollin' the Mojave almost makes you wish for a Nuclear winter... I wish I lived somewhere cooler haha... It makes it almost impossible to go outside, especially in mid summer when It hits 120 degrees regularly.
  10. Recently, I've started shooting my little Ruger Single Six again. Going out into the hills with my little Marlin .22 and six shooter is quite fun. However, not the most extensive or historical collection. Probably the Blackhawk I have is closest to the Colt SAA... So what about yours? Any Historical Firearms?
  11. I have always been a shooting enthusiast. My pop does a bit of reloading, so we'd always have to collect the spent brass. The name just kind of clicked for me one day.
  12. Aight. I've been doing a little bit lately and I think I have a fairly basic grasp of it. Practice practice practice!
  13. Accessorizing!
  14. So recently I have finally bought a fishing rod, yet I have a very vague idea on how to use it. Can anyone make a guide for me?
  15. Aye. When I named my character, I thought it might have a bit more impact in the game. I was sorely mistaken.
  16. Those unique weapons you mentioned would be pretty cool, actually. Maybe a kind of tripwire to trip up someone's horse, or a net to trap game/players. Different knives would be appreciated. Snares for smaller game
  17. Ouch. Ah well, it'll take me a bit of time to get used to it I guess.
  18. I would love to see a Mauser in the game, like the Gewehr 98 or such. Also a Winchester 1873, maybe to be a low price repeater. I'd really more want these in the game for the historical value.
  19. All of these would be epic. Certain items could give buffs, like bandoliers could boost ammo capacity for a certain type of round. Ponchos could maybe give a buff in the rain (and look cool!) Great ideas!
  20. Mainly, I see (or hope) that players/posses could be able to buy wagons, and transport items like game, or even a new type of stranger mission where you make a delivery for someone in your own personal wagon. Or use a personal carriage to transport an NPC. Wagons that could be be mobile crafting stations for posses, mobile makim guns ( I don't really see this one), and carriages that you could deliver people in. Also adding things like Snares for small game, Nets to trap larger game, fish or players, tripwires to trip up a horse etc.
  21. Me, I wish that there would be at least a RUDIMENTARY trading system among players. More than once one of my posse members has run out of food, while I have plenty, and vice versa. Ammunition trades would also be nice. Say for instance you have a bunch of shotgun shells, but you don't run a shotgun. Your partner has some repeater ammo. A nice switcheroonie would be epic. The ideas mentioned above by the OP I definitely agree with. And, while not necessarily 'giving' (well, maybe money), Gambling with NPC's/Players would work wonders at giving the NPC's life, and broadening your interactions with other players. I understand that gold wouldn't be able to be gambled, and maybe Rockstar could put some kind of safety net in place so you don't lose all of your money. Along a similar vein, simple voice acting would be cool, you could be able to choose a voice like your whistle.
  22. Over the last few weeks since I have bought a Schofield revolver (which I really enjoy), I have noticed an annoying event, where my Schofield keeps switching to my offhand. It swaps with my sawed off. It goes from my main holster to my offhand without me even doing anything to it. Is this a bug, or is this normal? If it is a bug, is there any way to stop it from happening? Cheers!
  23. Me personally, I run with a Bolt Action for long ranges, a Lancaster for mid ranges, a Schofield for mid-short ranges, and a Sawed Off in my off hand holster just in case. Works like a charm. Haven't had any major problems so far. Also, by getting different ammo types, if I run out of rifle ammo I can switch to the Lancaster in a pinch. I use the bolt cause it's fairly cheap and I see no reason to upgrade to a different gun at the moment.
