Like Parzival said, it gives you XP for your dead eye meter, and you should definitely drink it when you get the chance. Elixirs like that really aid in leveling your stats. At one point I found that I had like 4 or 5 Ginseng elixirs , and I increased my health level by 2.

I am totally fine with the way they have horse killing right now. If you wanna take your horse into battle, it's your "loss" (even though I have to pay for it...) Having your horse get shot is a minor inconvenience. They pay the vet fees, and it's a 2 minute timer. If you don't want to run the risk of losing your horse, make sure to flee it before things heat up. Simple as that. And, no, I don't purposefully kill player horses. (Unless they are being a jackass, then their horse is fair game). I tend to take things like griefers in stride. If they wanna try and piss me off, they're welcome to. I think they'd find it harder to get rid of me than to annoy me. I tend to chase them across the map. I've actually had griefers pull their guns on me first and I still manage to get them, and then proceed to harass and kill them till they parley.

I hope that the Forum stays like this for years to come. I've been here for slightly less than >1 year, but seeing posts from 2017 and stuff in the Forums before the game came out made me realize that this forum wasn't like the ones that pop up for games right before releases of games to try and garner a following. This is a forum of people genuinely interested in the game, who are decent and polite. The mods do a great job of pinpointing and removing trolls, which is a great thing to keep a forum an active and non-toxic place. Thanks guys.

Change the moonshiner first cutscene so that Cripps actually gets shot in the head. Get Maggie some marksmanship lessons.

Headshots are basically the only reliable way to dispatch opponents. I picked up Matchmaking a few weeks ago and after finding a sort of 'run and gun' playstyle that suits my loadout very well. Experiment with Tonics, weapons and playstyles to find your preferred method of play. ArmA or Squad?

I beg to differ. The Lemat to me looks weird. The Grip looks like it was stuck on as an afterthought. The Schofields on the other hand... Dual Schofields, both Blued steel with the baroque engravings IIRC, silver inlays and walnut grips. One has an eagle carving.

Angry Cops has some choice words about Onision, though for different reasons. I don't really follow Youtube happenings or scandals, but the whole 'Child Predators' thing doesn't surprise me. There are pieces of sh*t everywhere that prey on children. it's just a part of the internet, no matter how much we wish it wasn't.

The Mauser pistol is in the game, and it was made by (you guessed it) Mauser in Germany. Granted, it had a few years but there are definitely new European firearms in the game. Like Kean said, the Schofield is on a hinge and it is break action, self ejecting.
