  1. I have the Bolt Action, and while I don't own the Springfield in online, I have it in story mode. There are a few things that I like about the Bolt rather than the Springfield. -A larger ammunition capacity (5 rounds as opposed to the 1 in the chamber) -Higher RoF (Largely due to that bigger capacity.) -Slightly better accuracy For me it's a more versatile weapon as it works better in PvP. (for me at least), due to the larger ammunition capacity) The higher damage doesn't really matter as if you can land headshots, they're both one hit kills
  2. I think they are going to add some new weapons in this update. In the last major update they added several new melee weapons and the one before that added the LeMat.
  3. My guess is that it'd be with the next update in December.
  4. Fletcher Saddle baby!
  5. *Sigh* Red Ben's was actually my least favorite. Getting constantly one-tapped as I jump onto the train and try to advance my position as they rain down fire down on me. Not to mention the fact of getting him off the train. It was at that point that all of his gang members decided to show up as I throw him off. I jump off, and as I get off, I get smacked in the head by the train, or shot as I'm putting him on my horse. Yukon Nik's was fun because You could just blow open the 2 bear cages and have them clear out the camp for you. I also liked the real dead eye we got. Etta Doyle's was fun because of the stealth. Slowly take out each imposter one by one without alerting the others. Philip Carlier and The Owlhoots were my other two favorites.
  6. I only beat the game a couple months ago, and now i'm sitting at like 85% completion...
  7. I'd like a 'Gambler role' where the player competes against other players in a high stakes poker game, where it is in brackets and stuff, so the best play the best. For the weekly update, it could rotate location and type of poker being played. Combine everyone's idea into an entire role. Also maybe other types of gambling, like blackjack and stuff in story.
  8. Time to update as well, I guess. Mustang: Scotch ('cause reasons.) Shire: Mr. M I was playing story mode and I rustled up a legion of Mallards. After I commented on it to my friend he called them 'Mr. M'. And thus he was born. I might get another horse as I have 550+ dollars and nothing to spend it on. A good name for a Kentucky Saddler that we thought of was 'Kentuckily Sadders'.
  9. *puts on spectacles* AHEM I said: There's no way to address all the bugs before release. The best way to get the bugs fixed is by submitting a ticket to R*. Also, they didn't develop the game on the console... If you're being serious, that is.
  10. The game was in Beta on consoles from November till sometime in April or May IIRC. Of course there are going to be issues when it gets ported to a new platform. Give it a few weeks for them to iron out most of the major bugs, and in the meantime submit a ticket to Rockstar.
  11. Yeah, even though they added the change appearance feature, it doesn't allow you to change gender. You're stuck with what you choose. i'm sorry
  12. Mauser Broomhandle as a longarm carbine variant. The accuracy is a big reason why I don't use the Double action or the semi automatic pistols. Give better accuracy and I might use it lol.
  13. The Role update has been out for a while now. What are your general thoughts? I was pleased. It brought me back to the game and made it much easier to get money. Now I just wish there was more stuff for me to spend my cash on!
  14. I have a split viewpoint on this. I can definitely understand and respect players who wish to be left alone. Problem is, a lot of people want to be left alone. The players who I encounter who don't are typically griefers (although there aren't a lot of those), and sometimes people like me who want to be able to interact with other players. Not necessarily joining their posse or going into VC with them, just sorta sharing a drink or looking at each other's equipment, horses etc. This is a problem though because, as I said earlier, a lot of players want to play alone. So whenever I ride by, emoting them, I get shot out of the assumption that i'm going to whip out my Schofield and murder them. We then get in a firefight as we both believe we've encountered griefers. I don't think avoiding all players and shooting anyone who does anything other than ride past you is the way to play the game. Just my 2 cents though.
  15. My friend and I did something like that out in Armadillo. There's a few coffins and a pit where we would throw hogtied people in and then set them alight with a fire bottle. Watch the XP roll in lol. We actually got some randoms to join in too.
  16. They roll out content updates every Tuesday, and i'd assume there are bug fixes with those every week. What kind of issues? The next big patch might be in a couple weeks, if the little hotfixes don't resolve most problems by them.
  17. Honestly, it varied from year to year. Sometimes it'd be sausage/bacon, eggs, hash browns etc. Sometimes it was Pancakes, waffles, or French toast. Or sometimes it'd be something different like a croissant sandwich with cheese, egg, and ham. It depended on what pop's wanted to make.
  18. I don't know as I was about level 25 when the Poker update dropped and the Beta ended, and I didn't even think that there was a level requirement for it. Locations that I know for certain are the Blackwater Saloon, The Saloon in Rhodes (upstairs), The Station on the Eastern side of bard's crossing (I forgot its name). My guess would be a level 10 or 20 requirement. it won't take long for you to level up if you do stranger missions and hunting. Just be aware that there is a 25$ entry fee for every poker game.
  19. Honestly, I agree with everyone. Once you get the Trader role, money isn't an issue. I'm only level ~45 and I have 400+ dollars and all the guns that I need. Dual Schofields, Lancaster and a Bolt action, all fully upgraded. I bought the 25 gold bars when the update came out as I only had 5 so I could get the Trader and Bounty Hunter roles, but that's all I've bought. The grind for me is what makes the game fun, always doing missions and earning money for that thing that you've always wanted. However, the problem is that I already have everything that I want and the game is getting stale again. My Friend and I login A few times a week to do a few trader missions and the Legendary Bounty and mess around a little bit. I hope the next update comes out soon. Just do the Daily challenges for gold, and go hunting/fishing for cash until you get the Trader role. Other than that there's the Treasure map you get every 5 levels. Honestly, for Posses, I wish there was player trading but you can always also just set up a temporary posse.
  20. Maybe it's just a platform thing, but I actually haven't encountered a lot of Grieving. And if I do, it doesn't really get to me. Just try and leave them alone and get out of the area. Or, sometimes, if I want to waste all of my ammo, I engage in a little skirmish with them. It all depends on what you want to do though, you can always just rejoin a new server.
  21. Thinking of better things to say after you've already had the argument.
  22. So we have a thread for the username, but not profile pictures. What about them? Mine is self explanatory. I made in in the highly prestigious and respected MS Paint. It's a picture of the Rifle skill icon from The Long Dark.
  23. Totally unrelated, but Buc is my pop's nickname.
  24. Finally went through my camera roll and found some more:
  25. I've got a Beagle as well, as soon as I saw it I knew I needed it.
