CoD ain’t for everyone. I can definitely understand that. I tend to gravitate towards more un-CoD modes myself. 😂 And I hadn’t heard about that. Interesting. I loved Wildlands, and I was looking forward to Breakpoint, but with exception of a few developers I tend to wait for reviews before I plop my money down on a game. Since GRBP had such a horrible launch, I chose to not buy it. Those improvements sound cool, though. I don’t know how populated the community is on Wildlands now, but if you guys want to hop into that game I’m down as well.

I fully intend on getting Insurgency. Been craving for a tactical shooter on console for a while now. I know there’s R6, but that game has been out for a while and I can only predict the ire most players will have for a noob on their team. Kill Confirmed is cool. But I still get drawn back to HC CA. Quick TTK, slow revives, and having to move the objective from one side of the map to the other. Some of the maps aren’t conducive to the mode, but most are. I always have fun with it.

Go for a hike in the woods. One thing we humans tend to do nowadays is spend too much time under fluorescent lights and in steel buildings. Getting out into nature always helps calm my nerves. The silence and beauty are tranquil, soothing for the soul. It helps reestablish your equilibrium. Plus the sunlight is a good source of Vitamin D to help your immune system. Other suggestions include playing a chill game that doesn’t have a lot of consequences. RDR can be that when you’re just fishing or hunting (when it works). Fishing IRL can be that, too (if you’re into that). Read a book. No lag, no griefers, just you and the words on the page.

I’m on PS4. GT is xI_ENOCH_Ix I’ve played just a few rounds of Spec Ops because, like you said, randos are annoying. I’m also a big fan of playing hardcore Cyber Attack. That mode tends to have slower action and a more tactical feel. Not to mention some of the nighttime modes.

**Animal Spawn Issue Discussion** (Since Summer and Recent Updates)
Enoch replied to Jimblob's topic in Troubleshooting
Animal spawn issue? Psh. I can always find crows. They’re the equivalent of WoW’s boars 😂 -
Before the Spring Update, boredom had set in and I was looking for something to do. Then it hit me: this game doesn’t offer a mode for one of the most quintessential Wild West activities. Quick Draws, or showdowns, or whatever you want to call them. Before PVP matches started in RDR, a showdown between the two teams would commence. The last players standing would have the opportunity to run for the power-ups or random weapons on the map first. I missed this aspect of the game. Now I find myself trying to gather random players for one-on-one duels in the muddy streets of Valentine, or on the dusty drag of Armadillo. It’s worked a few times. Sometimes griefers ruin the fun. But there isn’t anything quite like staring down another player, six-shooter at my side, with my finger hovering over the trigger to see who will win the day.

Gotcha. What’s strange is that I’ve been getting notifications pretty regularly for other threads I’ve made/participated in. And in this one I’ve been getting notifications from your replies only. Weird.

Thank you, sir.

Still looks purdy. Try turning off your radar next time 😉

Let’s take a good look at the beautiful world Rockstar has created for us. This was taken on the Heartland hills looking toward Lemoyne at sunrise.

Check out the thread for The Congregation. If you like what you see, feel free to put in a invite request.

Sorry, guys. The message board didn’t notify me I had replies. Will be sending out invites this evening.

My wish list consists of two things: Pressing charges on griefers is increased to at least $5. If the victim returns and is able to kill the griefer then he/she spawns at the town furthest from the victim. For instance, if the incident happens in Annesburg then the griefer respawns in Tumbleweed.

I hear you. My favorite modes are Search & Destroy and Cyber Attack. Even though those two still get the run-of-the-mill CoD players who think they’re playing Team Deathmatch, I have a lot of fun there. Gunfight too. The only time I touch TDM is when I need to rack up kills for a gun challenge.

MW is the first CoD since Black Ops 1 I’ve payed full price for. I got BO4 last year because I had the opportunity to get it for $20 at launch. Never did touch a CoD game between BO1 and BO4. I really didn’t have fun with the three lane structures maps. MW does away with that. I’m loving it so far. I’m just bracing myself for when they decide to monetize it.

Did you ever try the Realism mode? Things slow way down from what I’ve played.
-
I haven’t had an issue yet. I’m on PS4.
-
Yeah, I hate the bunny hopping too. I bought the game on Friday and so far I’ve only seen it happen a handful of times.
-
I pulled the trigger and bought the game. Haven’t regretted my purchase so far, but we’ll see what happens further down the line.
-
On the one hand, I want to buy it because IW is returning to a gritty realism that has some “journalists” pissing their pants. I played the betas and I had a good amount of fun. The gameplay felt solid and new maps/modes will be released free of charge. On the other hand, despite their recent announcement, the history of Activision’s predatory monetization looms large in my mind. I received Black Ops 4 for practically free when it came out, but when the microtransactions hit I couldn’t bring myself to play it anymore. It’s one of the few times that I felt “dirty” for even playing the game. What say you?

We’re still looking for a few good players to join our flock.

Good ol’ fashion payback is considered griefing now. Good to know. I’m done with this thread ✌️

If you want to lay down and take it, that’s on you.

Eye for an eye. If you fire upon me or my posse when we did nothing to you, we will make every effort to take the supplies from you when we had no intention of doing so before.
