I have no intention of supporting a service that doesn’t actually allow you to own the games that you purchase. 95% of my game library is made up of physical discs.
  2. I live in New Austin...er... Texas.
  3. I’ll explain my thought process with the current consoles: Before this generation, I had a 360 and a PS3. I utilized my 360 more for multiplayer games while my PS3 was used mainly for single-player games. I haven’t cared about the “Console War” since the Genesis/SNES days — and even then I owned both systems. When this generation came around, I didn’t have the cash to afford both systems. Xbox was clearly going off the rails with their emphasis on TV, always online, wouldn’t support used games, and including the Kinect (which I had no desire to own). Meanwhile, the PS4 was concentrating on games, supported used games, and was $100 cheaper. Not to mention that PS4 had an arguably better lineup of exclusives. Needless to say, I chose to go with PS4.
  4. Mine is the name of the seventh son of Adam from the Bible and the apocryphal Book of Enoch. I always found Enoch’s story fascinating since he’s only one of the two people that were “taken” from the earth by God and yet he’s barely mentioned in the Bible proper, but his book is quoted in the New Testament when it isn’t even included. I believe that if you truly want to understand the story of the Bible, the Book of Enoch is an absolute essential text.

  6. I would like to see the story of Landon Ricketts. We could track him from his days in the Civil War, to when he became a reformed legendary gunman, to him riding off into the sunset after his gunslinger days took him to the edge.
  7. I’m going to be dabbling in all three, that way I never get bored doing one thing or another. I really commend R* for allowing that option to exist. A lesser company would probably lock you into a role until you’ve completed it.
  8. I’m loving the grind in RDO more than any other game that emphasizes it, mostly because there’s so much stuff you can do. Variety is the spice of life, and it works well in the West also. 👍
  9. I’ve been wondering how they planned on separating us from all that free gold we’ve been accumulating. What they’re doing with the licenses and the pass seem like a fair deal, especially since you can earn that pass price back. I’ve thrown $5 Rockstar’s way with the 25 bar deal when the beta first hit. As long as they keep giving good content, I won’t mind sending them a few more dollars. But I’m still going to try to keep ahead of the game and earn as much gold as I can for free. 😈
  10. You definitely have me beat, my friend 😉 I played PC games around the late 90’s/early 2000’s. Never did have a dedicated gaming PC, though. Tribes and Battlefield 1942 were my go-to games in those days. Maybe one day I’ll pull the trigger on getting me a rig, but for now I’m content with my consoles. Since Microsoft is starting to “share” their exclusive Xbox titles with PC, I’m starting to not see the point in buying their console. Especially when you consider that Xbox Live is free on PC (at least I think it still is). My main objective in getting a PC would be to take advantage of the emulators so I can play the games of yesteryear without having to have all those consoles handy. Even then I would still probably make it a suped up HTPC because I love couch gaming. We’ll see what time holds in store. Thanks for the warm welcome ✌️
  11. What’s up, guys and gals. My name is Enoch. I’ve been gaming since the late eighties with the original NES, so mind your step you young whoopy-snappers. RDR ranks among the top franchises of all time for me. Thanks for welcoming me into the community.
  12. POSSE RULES: I shall not grief. I shall wear one item of white. I shall not engage in bigotry. I shall help others in need; if they so require. I shall use game chat when possible. I shall not break these rules thrice, lest I be exiled. STORY: It happened just last year. There we were, having a nice Sunday service, when all of a sudden a band of outlaws came in and robbed our church members of everything they had on them. Money, jewelry, you name it. After they were done, they shot everyone they could. Some of us retaliated and drove off the gang. It wasn’t until later that we learned that the local lawmen were in on the robbery and turned a blind eye to our suffering. That didn’t sit well with us. Not at all. We dealt with the lawmen in a manner they would understand — with our pistols, rifles and boot heels. From then on we knew we had to play our part in taming this savage land. Both from the outlaws who ignored the rules of justice, and from those who would use the rules of justice for their own personal gain. We operate in the gray area we find ourselves in; helping those in need wherever we can, and cutting down whoever has it coming by whatever force we deem necessary. We are The Congregation. DETAILS: We are a lite RPG posse that values honor above all else. A short initiation is required before becoming a full-fledge member of The Congregation, followed by an induction ceremony. Most active times are 4-6pm and 8-10pm CT Monday-Thursday, 8pm-12am CT Friday and Saturday, and 8pm-10pm CT on Sundays. Each time is subject to change pending real world obligations. If you would like to join, leave your gamer tag below and an invitation will be sent your way at the next opportunity
