Congratulations on the new account. I Just started a new account and character on the PS4. Prior to that, my time has been spent on the Xbox One. Can’t help you much with headshots as I generally don’t put much effort into them when it is PVP. When it comes to PVP, I approach most situations as you would be taught in real life gunfights. Torso center mass. It works and give you the highest probability of coming out of the fight alive in game. It has been tried and is true!.

This is my first attempt to create Val Kilmer's Doc Holliday character on Red Dead Online for the PS4.
-
With all that is going on right now with the pandemic, I would think it will be awhile before we get a major DLC release.
-
I have been out of the loop. What are the roles?
-
Cool. I have a lot of content to get through. I recently started the Moonshiners role and I’m enjoying it. I’m struggling through the Bounty Hunter role. It’s just not keeping my interest. At this point, I’m casually doing it to unlock revolver tricks.
-
Same here. But not much of a fan of the Nagodoches Sadle, well especially the bell stirrups. I have the Bounty Hunter saddle and it’s a good saddle.
-
I'm going to have to check out the Evans Repeater.
-
Same here. Don't even get me started on when the camp sometime disappears in game.
-
I currently own the Bounty Hunter Saddle and I was wondering how it compares to the Moonshiners Saddle?

Welcome back. I may have some good news on the PC side of things. After updating to the recent update, Red Dead Redemption 2 is no longer defaulting to low settings. It is now defaulting to medium settings. I haven’t tried the game out yet, I have to wait until this weekend, but I might actually be able to play the game on PC!.

Thanks

What are your personal tips for becoming a strong fighter?
Vendetta replied to cowboy1867's topic in Red Dead Online
HuDawg mentioned some great tips!. I would say to also pay attention to the mini-map. Make them chase after you if you can then once there is distance, be waiting for them. There really is no secret, just have fun. It's the Wild West!. One thing I think is important is to find weapons that fit your style of play and carry them all the time. In particular, I'm talking about your sidearms. For me, I find that the Colt Navy .36 Cal cap n ball revolvers are the best for me. Some weapons you will rotate depending on what your doing, but probably best to keep a good rifle with a scope on you at all times. -
Those are classics.
-
I started off with the bolt action rifle and today I purchased the Springfield Model 1888 rifle and so far, I'm liking the Springfield rifle better. Both are great rifles!.

Quick question since this will be my first time doing this. Once you setup a persistent posse in Red Dead Online and pay the fee, is the posse’s name locked in and is this a one time only fee?

I have a Seasonic power supply but the case doesn’t have one. The motherboard is a MSI gaming board. I’m not sure which model but I think it is a Z170A Gaming M5. I too have been out of the loop building systems. It’s like starting over for me.

Thanks. Spec wise my laptop should run the game. Intel i5, GTX 1050 TI 4GB, and 16GB of RAM. For the desktop build I have an Intel i7 6700K, GTX 1070 8GB, I believe I have a total of 20GB of RAM. I’ve been slowly procuring these parts over the last three year’s. I finally got my case last weekend, a Cooler Master H500 so I can start building. Still need to get a storage SSD, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and desk.
-
I had to shelf it because I simply could not get it to run on my laptop after it’s release. Haven’t tried it since. But with me getting ready to build my gaming desktop in the next weekend or two, I probably try it again on the laptop this weekend. I still haven’t settle for a character design on the PC.
-
I hope they do. Lots of PC players just want to chill in private sessions and voice chat with their friends.
-
Maybe they will add this feature if they haven’t all ready but it would be nice to be able to create invite only lobbies for just you and your friends. It would help out a lot in situations like these.
-
Sorry for the long wait for my reply. I took a bit of a break from Red Dead Online but I’m back. That outfit is awesome. I’m hoping they will give us more realistic holster placement options.
-
Strictly PS4 or Xbox One as well?
-
Thank you. It’s good to be back. Sorry for posting in the wrong thread.

Who here plays Red Dead Online on the Xbox One during the weekends and has a mic? I haven’t played in awhile and I’m looking to get back into things.
-
You can do that on PC as well using task manager. I’m currently doing the Diamond Casino Heist on Xbox One. Might do it on PC as well.
