What legitimate methods do you use to rank up fast?

Not exactly sure what you mean. I recently created my new character on PC and I have made a lot of progress. Prior to this I was paying on the PS4 and prior to that, playing since beta on the Xbox One. While there has alway's been one aspect or another of the game that is a grind, that is what these games are, I have never felt overwhelmed and making cash is the easiest thing in this game. Just hunt. Making gold bars, that is a bit of grind. If you can post some more details about what your current game play is like in terms of what you are doing as well as what platform you are on, I'm sure we can help out.

Two more filters with the Advanced Camera. Both photos taken at the same time of day with 80% intensity. First we have the end credits filter which can be unlocked in Outlaw Pass 3. Nothing special here and I doubt that I will use this filter. This is the photogravure filter. Not bad at all.

I don't believe they are allowing transfers at this time. But I would not let that hold you back from going over to the PC game. I own a copy of the game on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. I'm liking the PC version the best, despite the lack of a lobby chat at this time.

I'm wondering if a problem that I've been experiencing is a known bug or something on my end. When I launch the game (Steam copy) I get a blue Windows screen stating that there is a problem with my device and forces my PC to restart. I can get the game to run after a couple of tries. So far, this only seems to happen with Red Dead Redemption 2.

I purchased the Advanced Camera and I'm very impressed with the camera and the period filters. The camera allows you to take photos in game with a wild west era touch. The camera is an expensive purchase but well worth it. Here's a photo of me and my horse using the tintype filter. From Wikipedia, tintype seen it's widest use during the 1860's and 1870's. I was having the same problem during launch and as a result I couldn't play the game. My graphics settings defaulted to low and any changes made to my settings resulted in the game menu running so slow that I had to shut the game down. The only fix for me was to wait until RockStar and NVIDIA fixed the issues through updates which I just started playing on PC. My gaming laptop has an Intel i5 with a GTX 1050 TI 4GB. But your issue might be different. I would reach out to both RockStar as well as NVIDIA while waiting for other forum members to help.

Maybe so. Next Gen consoles will certainly be more capable and hopefully keyboard and mouse support will become the norm.

I had something like this occur last night. Every time I would start the game the launcher would start but when the game should have launched, a blue screen would come up and tell me that it had to restart. Every try after that, same problem. I validated the game files in Steam, restarted my PC and was able to play the game.

Quick question on the Outlaw Pass. Once the pass is over, are all items you unlocked yours to keep?

While we wait for the specs, I suggest if you haven't already, go into your security software and make an exemption for Red Dead Redemption 2. This is what solved my launch issues.

I'm sorry, but 4K 60 FPS on anything other than a high end gaming PC is a gimmick. The average console gamer will not pay the prices needed for a consoles that can deliver a true, 4K 60 FPS gaming experience with high graphics. I'm building a 2K gaming PC and just bought a RTX 2070 Super for just over $600.00 shipped. Maybe server side gaming can delivery a true 4K gaming experience in the future, but we still have a way's to go.

I agree with you. I just recently created my PC character. The following session after that was full of moder griefers. This mornings gaming session going into this afternoon was problem free. It is hit or miss. I don't have a problem with moders until they use it to start griefing. GTA Online has moders, but this is worse. We need the ability to create invite only, solo session that don't punish those who wish to play this mode.

One thing that I do not like is the games menu interface when it comes to online mode and friends. Unless I'm messing something, I can't find a friends menu for joining their sessions. There is no lobby text chat so it is harder to talk and meet new friends. While I'm ok with not all players showing on the map at once, I hope friends in your session show up no matter what. In the future, we need private sessions without being punished for wanting to play solo with friends only like in other RockStar games and a dedicated friends menu like in their other games. The PC game so far for me has been a modder griefer fest.

Is the rare white Arabian horse found is story mode available to find and own in online? I'm thinking it is not since they have it for sale in online.

Update, after reading reviews I’m thinking the best option is to just build my own gaming PC. If anyone here has the RTX 2070 Super, what do you think of the card? I already have a Cooler Master H500 case!.

Sorry to keep double posting. I was able recreate my character on PC this morning and it came out better than I expected.
