  1. Use D-Pad to bring up place info, time and re-size mini-map, or show current mission logs Read documents in satchel Use a camera to take in-game b/w selfies and photos Use melee attack from horseback to kick out Leap from horse to other horses, carriages and trains Tap whistle to summon horse, hold longer for different whistle to get horse to follow Gain access to cheat codes via newspapers
  2. I sometimes watch those youtube tip channels, and from them I found out there's all kinds of stuff you can do in RDR2 that I had not noticed or overlooked. I'll stick a few down here now, and I encourage folk to post more as they think of them - anything, however simple, that folk might not realised Determine gun load out at gunsmiths Sit on edge of some cliffs Set a dozen waymarkers on the map (and go straight to map and back without multiple button pushes) Lasso and stab animals when hunting Toggle single push to run option in settings (along with other options) Rest at closed shops to jump to shop opening time Equip pocket watch for in-game animation time telling
  3. Man that sucks big time It's worrying that paid-for content can be glitched so bad in a huge game that was specifically delayed so as iron out problems. Quality control and testing have dropped the ball for this title
  4. Yes. I'm happy for people to point out when/if/where I've got this wrong. I don't want the game spoiled for myself, nor do I want to reveal stuff to others who don't want to know.
  5. What do you mean? You will only be permanently broke if you continually rack up large bounties, and you'll only be doing that if you keep committing obvious crimes in towns and shooting the law when they come to arrest you.
  6. Just to be sure: Did you check your pause/settings and player/overview and specific health/stamina/dead eye menus (bonuses and trinkets in there, not in game)? Go to gunsmith and purchase for $0 various guns? Check wardrobe for Neuvo outfit? Go to stable and see two horses for $0 (neither is labelled warhorse)?
  7. So bizarre to have some items but not others ...? I was lucky, although I couldn't find them at first, all my stuff was there. Keep us updated with any resolutions.
  8. Many side quest missions and stranger missions are time sensitive. From the guide book, it seems that if you miss them there is no way to go back, especially once you hit chapter 6. It would be very hard to complete the game in a single play through whilst hitting every mission. I've been trying to do that with the guide and I've still missed some.
  9. Instead of player overall, look in the separate health/stamina/dead eye subsections. . That's where they are.
  10. ADO - any joy trying anything else? Have you got a reply from customer support or anything? Being totally unable to load sounds like about as game breaking a glitch as one can possibly have!
  11. Weird, I've not noticed a similar problem. Has anyone else noticed anything similar? Maybe I'm misremembering ...
  12. I too find it hard to believe that R* weren't aware of this sort of thing - or if not, then they were being incompetent in testing. Sony must've known too.
  13. You've been a busy little outlaw psychotic I'd think it nice if the game counted stats for you - like numbers killed, how, with what weapons etc.
  14. Cool Better is always, well... better
  15. Is this the kind of thing that can be fixed???
  16. I got the guide straight away. Given how little info the game gives you about mechanics and stuff I have the guide invaluable. Just don't read bits you don't want to spoil for yourself.
  17. Hogtie might be an idea???
  18. That's cool to know! I intend to do it twice anyway - once as honourable, once as a total dog.
  19. Good advice salty though I intend to hit max honor first, then go down Cheaper equipment is more use early in the game (rather than later), and avoiding crime/law better early too. Once got award for max honor, then go for bandit while going down in honor to hit max low
  20. I think yellow is top, white middle And yeah - this game is huuuuge!
  21. completing treasure hunts is one way. I did it the harder, slower way
  22. When I play for the second time the white hat is coming off ...
  23. I've never seen it red, but I guess so I always keep it well stocked. I also spend time in camp doing chores, playing games, talking to NPCs, getting upgrades, crafting, giving cash, eating and drinking - I treat it like an RPG, and after every mission or every few days free roaming, I come back to camp and 'take care' of it. It's good for getting stuff, increasing honor, expanding the storyline, and immersion.
  24. Man, that really sucks MrStripper - I feel for you
  25. Pay your bounty at a post office (envelope symbol on map). It'll be quite high - around $300. Dont enter the area until you've paid this off. Getting the money to pay it off might take a while. Dont think about moving on with the story until this is done. It happens to everyone, not really your fault
