My suggestion wouldn't have been to go through the game slow, having fun, then re doing missions via the replay option to get the golds. Actually I'm a bit scared of losing the stuff I've got too. Could anyone confirm one way or other (in a spoiler block, with no story spoilers if poss) whether you unavoidably end up perma-losing anything during the game at any point?

That's very interesting to know. Maybe the reason I haven't had any issues with ultimate edn DLC is that I got the early pre-order digital edn and pre-downloaded it. Maybe digital was the way to go with this? Is this a problem with the physical copy more than the download?

But, since i can't resist nailing my own colours to the mast, however briefly, I'll just say that I mostly disagree with PZA because I tend towards favouring something like an internet bill of rights because I feel that tech monopolies (like YTube and Twitter etc) are de facto public squares/utilities more than private companies at this point - and when you factor in de-personing by internet hosts, search engines, and tech payment options (Google, Paypal etc), as well as politically motivated physical/financial de-platforming/censorship by mob veto, then you have entered the realm of unacceptable large-scale censorship and the erosion of free speech. Obviously, as a free-speech fundamentalist liberal/libertarian I'm very biased!

You can upgrade to get pomade in camp. Or at barber. Or buy it. Or find it. It lasts a while. You can swim in deep water for a while to get clean. Or get a bath. And change clothes prob helps too. Make sure horse is clean with no old pelts too.

Beginning to sound like a bug. Its hard to get a high bounty, let alone without knowing what you did!

I just slowly crept (literally inch at a time) - every time the controller started to vibrate I hit calm and waited, then inche again, rinse and repeat. Took about ten minutes to get close enough to pat.

When you scroll down in change your wardrobe, should be an option for talismans.

I couldn't resist. I won't tell you what happens, but I haven't noticed any long term effects - doesn't mean there aren't any, though.

Have you got American domestic house cat?

It was an option in change wardrobe at a hotel - can't recall exact listing, but just scroll down through them all, and toggle trinket off.

You can remove it in wardrobe - just done it!
