Yeah, I don't know how they do it, but ghosting is a thing and some people use it to grief with impunity. Double life fail - first to grief, second to cheat on top. I can only imagine that irl these people look like Voldemort and smell like a sewer.

Thing is, I only get griefed every now and again. Most of the time everything is fine. Of course, I just recently got griefed - highly annoying. Minding my own business skinning an animal, get shot, lose everything on my horse - after a long time hunting. With nothing left to lose I try to chase the griefer down - he rides for ages before I catch up with him (clearly he doesn't want to fight??). Eventually, I get him. Boom headshot. Done? Nope. As soon as he spawns he shoots me. Oh, he wants to fight now. Ok, I shoot him. I'm pretty confident I can kill him more times than he'll kill me - but wait, the coward has left the server! So he shoots me in the back, runs off, and when it becomes a fair fight leaves the game! Good grief, what a diseased anus.

Tbh, is there really much of a difference between grinding series matches, hunting and fishing, doing missions? It seems to me that any minor advantages one has over another is outweighed by boredom. Seems better, to me, to vary what I do - some matches, some hunting, some fishing etc.

My own set at the moment is Paint it Black, the one that gives quicker health regeneration, the one that does more damage if you are close to death, and the one that gives more damage for consecutive shots.

Annoying, in that this wasn't clearly communicated and I had to wait ages before I found out. Pointless, in that honor had next to no bearing in the game, other than two story missions and two one-time buckles - and you can even buy your honor at the weird shop.

The most important thing is options. choose your mode, choose time, choose team, choose map, choose load out, choose free aim or auto, choose private lobby, etc etc

Floating objects, men and horses sunk into the ground, spawning with different costume and weapon load out, etc. The most odd, IMHO, though, is when in PvP it rewinds time and you see a body shoot across the floor.

I like the schofield for mid range head shots, and the volcanic for up close.

You'll spend all your time running and dying. But still best way to get xp., imho.

All players with generic looking characters and xX UDeDBoiZ Xx style names need their balls whipped. Just my personal opinion, of course.

Dunno. At the moment you can steal a canoe, but not fish from it or go too far from shore before getting teleported. All other boats are unpilotable.

At the momentt, large series matches seem to me to be the place to get xp. Just rack up as many head shots as poss.

My character's name is Doc McGee. I wanted a Western outlaw style name. I want a game world where one can at least suspend to some degree the disbelief - I want a RPG, or at least an RPG-lite. 21st c teen 'yoof' names break the verisimilitude more than most things.

I don't think I stand a chance against level 156 guys. I assume they have maxxed everything. I really wouldn't want to be joining PvP post beta!
