GTA V, in general, was just okay. I didn't care much for the story. It felt like parts were being forced and other parts had no depth to it. And yeah, the random missions sucked.

I never understood the hype myself. They look goofy to me. The only ones that look alright are the animal figures. I used to collect Hot Wheels growing up. I still have a shoe box filled with them. I should go through it and see if any are worth money.

Welcome to the forum bud. I'd say basically all members here are mature and several are older than 30 so you are in good company. Hope you enjoy your stay.

Are you talking about aim assist/auto-aim? If so, that is done automatic via your settings I believe. Online, you don't have the option to choose what server you are placed in either, some are aim assist and some are not.

Maybe they are too OP? I don't know. Just seems silly to allow something and then take it out without any notice to the players. I don't know if they have taken it out entirely or it is just a bug but I was never able to use mine, not on PC anyways.

I think the issue is that they want to stick to the times and keep things as real as they can. In GTA V, since it is a modern game, has way more to work with and they aren't afraid to make silly mini games for it. There is a lot to do for a group of friends on there. RDR2 has limited things so once you burn out on everything, it is hard to keep interest.

Avoid or quit dishonorable Free Roam missions?
Anc1entC0re replied to Prescott Billy's topic in Red Dead Online
This is usually what I do. Sometimes you get stuck on a long loading screen for some reasons but at least it doesn't take 15 minutes. -
Moonshiner Sucks at first level... help me believe.
Anc1entC0re replied to Boot Smith's topic in Red Dead Online
That is a really good tip, I hadn't thought of doing it myself. I generally don't do moonshine missions cause the pay isn't great for the time investment and I tend to play solo which makes it even harder for me. -
I have a feeling that, for some reason, certain locations are having more issues than others. I don't entirely know how games work online (worldwide) but since I know certain laws don't allow for certain things in games, maybe their coding for the game is screwy. It has been about a month since the release on PC and it took them several months to get things right on console so don't hold your breath on issues like this being fixed right away. It is unfortunate.

Some people reported having issues where they did 100% the game but it was not registering. This was the case on console anyways. Try saving your game to a new file and see if that works.

12/23/19 Winter Weather Warning, Bonuses & More
Anc1entC0re replied to Kean_1's topic in Red Dead Online
How many extra days is the snow lasting? I noticed it came back New Year's Eve and it was still going as of last night. I haven't played yet today though. -
Yeah same here, happened for mine. I am guessing it was either meant to work this way for some reason or it is just an overlooked glitch they never got around to fixing.

Slow, no but laggy, yes. My connection is damn near perfect at all times so I know it isn't my internet but I keep experiencing lagging and "hiccups" when playing.
-
I haven't noticed this myself but I don't mess with Salvage Events too often. I can't remember the last one I did but I don't remember everything disappearing. Is this meant to happen if you lose?
-
Yeah that seems to be playing a role for you for some reason. I am wondering if maybe this should be brought to the attention of Rockstar.
-
This is honestly the best thing they have done in a long time. I feel like for most people outside of a child audience, this is the only thing keeping the adult fanbase content. I mean the least few movies (Star Wars) were not great to me.
-
I hear that. We just have to be patient I guess. It is a make or break process. I know plenty have already quit the game for good. I am still going to give it time.

I have run myself dry with hero movies but series seem to be okay. I will give it a shot. I just feel like most programming is force feeding us strong female leads and that has put me off movies and television in many regards but it isn't fair to cast such a big shadow when I know female leads for the right story are phenomenal. Bill Kill is a good example, though a movie and not a series, loved that one. Talks of doing another are in the works too. I would love to see a series myself.

Exclusive Interview with The Reaper Lords - Submit Your Questions!
Anc1entC0re replied to Lonestar's topic in Red Dead Online
I was talking to my friend about this. The first one closed off around 1914 I think so if we did get a continuation, we would likely play as Jack between 1915 and 1925. They could very well introduce new characters and a new area and go back to the 1800's again though. Either way, I would be down with this. -
It could be. Have you taken a look at this and tried these suggestions by chance? https://medium.com/@qultists/red-dead-redemption-2-pc-complete-guide-how-to-solve-graphics-and-launching-problem-errors-im-3e1f550c6689

Are there any shows that started this year that have been getting good reviews? I am looking for something new to binge on for a bit. I only have a few shows I am watching and they are about to wrap up until January or February.
-
If I am not mistaken, you can't play online in certain areas. Like depending on what server you are in according to your IRL location. I could be wrong but it is worth checking into.
-
As of today, Mixed (7,529). This means half of the reviews are negative. That is a lot of negative reviews, nearly 4,000 really. Yikes!

Have you contacted them to see if you could get your money back from the issue? I know others have been complaining about having posse creation troubles since day one and only some people have reported it to be resolved.
