Really? I figured after IGN's video, it would have felt real. I mean, it isn't like it was something that was still up in the clouds like before.

He will likely be a bad guy so that is how I will be playing. I mean I do tend to go back and forth with things like this but I try to stay true the character. When I played the first one, I was Good Boy John and didn't do anything evil or go out of my way to just make a mess of towns. Not this time. Someone beats me at a game of poker, I will just shoot them. (IN THE VIDEO GAME!)

I'm not into basketball like I used to be but I watch some playoff games and all of the Finals games every year. I'm thinking Warriors are going to win this one. I really don't like either team so I am not rooting for anyone to win, just watching for some good games. Game 1 has already brought to life possibly the best meme of 2018. If you haven't seen it, just google LeBron and JR Smith.

Had some BBQ chicken with some steak fries. I feel like I overate a bit but I should still have room for later when I watch the Finals game.

Really think about it. I honestly can't handle having to train, walk, feed another life right now. I am too busy for it.
-
Yeah Xbox One has "Upload Studio" which basically takes care of everything. So adding onto this within the game is pointless. Rockstar has their social club which will work with RDR2 already anyways.
-
It really isn't much different from any other trailer they have done. Watch it again, then watch GTA V's, then watch the latest one for RDR2.

In what fashion would you like to see John Marston?
jACKx replied to Reyes's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
Yeah so we know he is in the game now but at what point do we see him enter the story and in what fashion? I would assume he is in at least half the game, if not 75% of it which is great. So much of his past history was hinted at in the first one and I really wanted to see how it all went down and now I will be able to which is really freaking cool to me. -
While I don't mind them making video game trailers to resemble movie ones, I feel like sometimes they just push to hard to sell it like a movie. Don't get me wrong, the trailer is great but I feel like it could have been done better in a way that shows us less while still giving us an idea of what the story is about. Also... HELL YEAH JOHN IS BACK!!

Graphics camparision between RDR2 and GTAV
jACKx replied to Supergtor's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
Yeah, I can't really hear you much either. But on topic to what you are talking about... RDR2 clearly has more impressive graphics. It will be a much newer game too. Not to mention GTA V was originally made for Xbox 360/PS3. -
Will RDR2 Online hold sustainable success like GTA V Online?
jACKx replied to CowBoii's topic in Red Dead Online
It is hard to say. I will have to wait to answer this and see what it actually looks and feels like. We should be able to tell within the first month of the game coming out. I can't see it being as popular but with the right groups (of fans) it should last at least 3 years of a good amount of players filling the servers. -
I can actually see this being how they handle it. Or even an in menu option off of a pause. From what I have been reading elsewhere, not many people even seem to care about this feature anyways. You know they would complain though if it isn't included.

Gambling In Red Dead Online – How Will It Work With Microtransactions?
jACKx replied to NewsBot's topic in Red Dead Online
Just make gambling of anything DLC related not an option like mentioned. There is nothing to beat around the bush about and they don't need to worry about people using real money to gamble at all. -
The AC thing is cool but this is something that I never needed myself. I don't share pictures or stream, it isn't my thing. I guess it would be good for players who do like to use this feature.
-
I would have rather they announced the game was being made late last year than 2016. There would have been no "major delay" and people wouldn't have been bothered so much by the one we got.
-
I would like to see some mines that have different aspects, maybe some with workers/criminals currently working in them, criminal hideouts underground, maybe some abandoned ones you can get lost in. Just mix it up!

I get free access to a local fitness center for living in my area so I run laps 2 or 3 days a week. It isn't much but it is helping me get in better shape. I don't do weight training or anything like that.

I think there was a thread for this already but I will just make a new one for the new year. Share whatever song you may be listening to at the moment or just recently were listening to.

People on reddit like to be trolls. I bet the dude just made that one post and didn't make any others in that entire section too. I read recently that the majority of the users on there are 25 to 35. Hard to believe when you read some of the crap they post. Would have thought it was mostly 14 to 18.

I remember Red Dead Revolver and being all "This is amazing! Look at the detail!"... Then I said the same thing for RDR.... And now looking at RDR2, it looks damn near real. It is insane what they have done in just over 10 years.

What aspect of online are looking forward to the most?
jACKx replied to riptide87's topic in Red Dead Online
This is indeed true. I would expect them to have some pretty nice options on RDR2. Likely will be released over time in the same fashion. -
They will likely have something go wrong in the first week and I don't think it will be down to "purpose" but someone accidentally finding out where they made a mistake.
-
I wanted to revisit this because I have somewhat changed my mind. I originally said it will be "as good as" or "if not better than" and to be fair here, as a fan I know it will be better for me BUT for a lot of people who will be new to the story, the characters, ect. I think it will be hard to be better for them. GTA has a long standing fan base, much longer than RDR or Revolver. Also, it is much bigger. So yeah for me it will outshine GTA V but for others who never played RDR, it likely won't.

No, Red Dead Redemption 2 Won’t Be A Microtransaction Mess
jACKx replied to NewsBot's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
After seeing some really solid games be ruined over this mess, it is good to see it won't happen here. I am not sure what some devs are thinking. Like I get it, smaller transactions means people are more likely to spend but you can't suffocate people with it.
