It's the same with Talismans, weapon equipment unfortunately doesn't stack, if you get the upgraded ones for like 400 repeater ammo, you will get 400 repeater ammo even when you got 4 different bandoliers... at least that's my experience so far, I don't have all of them yet to confirm if it will change or not.

I actually looked for that the other day, but I didn't see it. To be fair, I wasn't at a liquor store... I ended up buying something else that seemed appropriate enough.

I wish it did, because I got a Assassin's Creed Syndicate themed outfit going and it doesn't really go with it..

Oh you meant not having a Bandolier equiped and still get the benefits from it?

I just removed the bandolier from the outfit and I'm still holding 400 ammo... it could be because the outfit had the bandolier before, or it works without one too.

HOLY COW extremely frustrating. So I've been looking for this darn perfect panther for ever. I find it shoot, take it back to camp and it says it's a perfect panther carcass. I go back to my horse to skin it to get the pelt and it's gone!

Nothing in my inventory, nothing!

I go back to the place where I killed it, this time I find another but it's a 2 star panther. I've been at this for hours.

That sucks, big time! The only advice I can offer is that the way I got the perfect panther in both of my playthroughs was to go to the very bottom of that road to the west of Shady Belle, where it meets the other road in a T-junction. Save the game now.

Place 3/4 predator baits (or more if you have them) a little way up the vertical road. hen run behind the rocks to the south of the junction.

I've never had to wait more than 1 min for a panther to arrive. Shoot it and skin it and you'll find out if it's 3 stars.

If not, reload the save and try again.

That's exactly what I did... Save before any encounter with difficult to find animals like the Panther and the Moose, sometimes they didn't even spawn BUT for me 8 out of 10 times they did spawn with a lower rating and I reloaded the animal spawned again.

That worked for you too?!? I was hoping it was a useful tip, but had my doubts... 

@gigemaggs99you should've just skinned it. You don't need the carcass, just the pelt. Pelts wot be lost once they're on your horse unless you die. Carcasses fall off all the time...

Well I finally got, late into the night, I did like ya'll suggested and saved it, then went to the spot. The darn thing killed me 5 times, one of which I was aiming at it to shoot it and the game comes up and asks me if I'd like to auto save, I get all flustered and say no, then when the game unpauses the panther is on my biting me to death. I was cussing it pretty good.

Finally got and then took the pelt to camp. Went Northwest and got the cougar on the first try. Also picked up a perfect bear pelt to complete all the crafted Chaps at the trapper.

On to trapping, killing, and looting. Still on chapter 3 but this satchel will definitely help now that I can hold 99 items.

congrats!  I'm almost there, so close lol  i need a perfect elk skin and i'll have 3 of the 6 satchels done.  Should have that tonight.  I would have had it last night but i kept letting things distract me and didn't hunt as much as i had planned to.  Tonight it's all about hunting.

Once finding out the carrying capacity of the "Legend of the East" satchel I put everything else on hold. That's a game changer.

I only get about one and a half to two hours a night to play so I figured getting that three star panther pelt was going to be a grind. Much to my surprise, as I rode south of the burned out church, one of those bastards popped right up on me. I pulled out the bolt-action, activated dead-eye, and put one in his head just to avoid getting mauled. It was three star! Bittersweet because I was anticipating a drawn out hunt but I'll take it. 

Harvesting the cougar more than made up for it though as I spent two IRL evenings trying for that turd. I kept seeing old withered one star cats. We got there though.

This is one of the most satisfying activities in the game for me so far.

I will say it's like having precious cargo on board once you get that rare 3 star pelt you need and have been looking for, FOR HOURS! Once I had the 3 star panther I loaded up my shotgun and told myself, "Anything that gets in my way is going to DIE". I just knew I was going to be attacked by raiders or wolves on my way back, sure enough 5 wolves came after me, I shot them all, 1-shotted each with the double barrel shotgun, picked up there leftover 1 & 2 star pelts as a consolation prize and kept on my way back to the camp.
