Thursday marks 7 years since the release of RDR. (May 18th 2010)

Do you think we will maybe see a new trailer on Thursday? Or some news on the game? A lot of my friends were talking about this the other day (on a gaming forum) and they think we will see something this week. I am hopeful for it. It would be almost poetic when you think about it.

I wouldn't find weird if R* just simply ignored the date like they did with Bully's anniversary. I'd be disappointed, but not surprised.

Not only it's RDR's anniversary, but this coming Thursday is the Thursday before T2's conference call. They generally announce things on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I am going to assume nothing will happen just because they are not a company to follow trends. I would love a little Twitter teaser though if not a trailer. I think that is the least they can do for us shmucks who spend hours trying to uncover something only to find nothing new on the game lol

I guess we will find out in a few days then huh? I will be checking for news no doubt. I didn't even think about RDR's release. Being in the second quarter and all... Maybe this one will be delayed till next Spring as well.

I agree with el kitty. This is not something they have been known to do. I also would like a teaser of some kind but it looks like they are keeping everything on lock-down for now.

If something happens I will be surprised but I will be checking anyways. I follow them on Twitter. Really only follow things I am waiting on. So if something gets released I will see it.

Looks like nothing was said or done. I was thinking that this would just blow over. As mentioned, Rockstar is not known for playing on past dates or anything like that. Ah well.

Yeah nothing happened. Well it is just another shot and a miss for us fans then huh? I guess we will have to see what happens next month. I don't think we will be getting any new news on the game in May.

I can't believe that day came and went like there was nothing special about. RDR is one of the greatest games ever made and we are on the cusp of further greatness. Please, we need something soon and let us never forget Red Dead Redemption!
