Will the Wild West MMO effect the chances of a PC release?

I am not sure if this was mentioned or not but this game seems like it will look a lot like RDR2.

It got me to thinking, what can this mean for RDR2 having a PC release. I mean if this game gets a huge following, is it even worth competing with?

Ehh. It could. If they had planned on making a PC release version already it is likely half way done if not nearly done so it would be stupid to give it up at this point. Not sure if we will see one or not but if not, I am sure this game may play a slight role in the decision.

Not at all. The way this gaming is shaping up, it would likely push them to do it just to capitalize off the people who enjoy it. Plus, it wont be the same game. It is going to feel different.

It looks cool but as mentioned the two games will be nothing alike in terms of play style and story.

I am guessing RDR2 will look a lot better than this one though which is something yo get excited about.

I think that PC gamers will get to play Red Dead Redemption 2 on their beloved computers, I don't think that Wild West Online will have had anything to do with it though. WWO looks good but really good games (like RDR) are hard to make.

WWO will be a major disappointment I feel. THe shots look good sure but they were still planning on doing a crowd funding campaign to finish the game, I mean how far along can they actually be?? ANd now they say they are going to release something this year. I don't think it will be good but might help some PC gamers get their Western fix.

Sorry to bump and older topic, I hope this is okay.

I just want to say that this would no way effect the RDR2 game coming out on PC.

One. The games only share a common niche of being a Western.

Two. Red Dead has story line and depth to it with a large fan base.

All games start off with a smaller fan base though, this one can grow. I do agree that RDR2 will have more of a story in terms of history. I mean, assuming we stick with the same as we are all assuming it will be, a prequel.
