Territory Control?

Do you think there is anyway they can incorporate this in the online servers?

Thinking back in the wild west, a lot of the high time gangs would often take over areas be them small towns or out in the wilderness. I think it would be cool if they could have this somehow int he game. Like in GTA V, when you would go into "gang hideouts" but instead of it being AI's it would be actual players. They could even mix in some AI's if say the gang is only 2 or 3 people big. Just for the sake up being better protected. Maybe the AI's can be bought aka "hired" for in game money.

This is like the other thread that talks on gang hideouts. I guess this is the same but slightly different to that idea. I actually like what you suggested. People being able to hire gang members with in game money. It gives you more of an insensitive to earn the cash and spend it.

I am down. I think having these options would help appeal to people like me who normally don't play a lot of online games like this. Also, they can add to this later with all kinds of buyable items in game or DLC packages.

They will have something like this for sure. May not be what you said but of the same nature. I feel like they want to expand how the game plays and make it feel new but still like a classic Red Dead. Like feeling like the first one.

It would be cool to be able to buy land as well. Like in the old west, all it took was money and you can buy deeds to land and do what you want with it really. So being able to have a controlled area to have as a gang hideout or even a farm, that would be cool.

Buying land would be cool but there is only so much land online. I am not sure if the online maps will be as big or bigger than GTA V (I am hoping so) but if they aren't very big, having 16 people fight over land could get messy.

We should be allowed to build walls. I will let everyone think on that for a second and picture how ironic and hilarious it would be if that was actually an option.

The did say we would have a place to call our own online with our friends. A place where we can stable our horses and build more areas to expand out camp. I hope land does not cost and arm and a leg . There should be more stuff you can get just by doing content rather than buying it all the time. at least a starter areas and we can go from there. I wonder if the other member would have to pay the land owner for using the territory?

Based on what I have seen in the gameplay, it would appear you can just set up camp on open land so maybe the first place is free and it cost more the further you move our or something. I am curious to see how they do this.
