Silly question...

Is there any chance of RDR2 coming out on the Nintendo Switch? Like any, at all? 

I know the system isn't as "beefed" up for these kinds of games but it did so well with Zelda Breath of the Wild that I thought... maybe. Maybe one day...

LOL no. Not just because of the system but because of the typical players. Look at Nintendo's games compared to Xbox/PS games. Very few truly adult themed games get put on Nintendo systems.

They do have some "horror" options on there with a few others mixed in but yeah they mainly target kids. Maybe if this was the 90's it would work but not now. They are known for Mario, Zelda, ect. not games like this.

I think I would have asked the same question years ago but Nintendo is firm about what they allow on their console. They wouldn't touch a Rockstar game with a 10 foot pole. lol

Rockstar and kids games go together like gasoline and a match. It is just not the kind of game you will see on Nintendo, ever. Which is ironic considering they used to have all those Mortal Kombat games, James Bond, ect.

I think this is down to the market changing for Nintendo. Back in the day, there was more going on and you wanted to compete to get all ages to buy your console. Now they have an established legacy of games like Mario, Zelda, ect that are kid friendly but VERY loved by adults.

I honestly wish Rockstar would push to get it released on every possible platform to just allow more people to play it. I know that it wouldn't be quite the same game in terms of graphics but even then I'm sure everyone would still love being able to play it on the platform(s) that they own and prefer instead of being forced to pick one over another.

This is where the specific platform exclusive content also ticks me off because it prevents everyone from getting the same experience at launch if they don't already own and decide to buy the game on the platform with exclusive content. I'm willing to wait a month or even up to three for the same game (but with all the content) on my platform of choice but not getting it on my platform or having to wait years is just not cool. Then again though if the platform owner decides the game isn't a good fit then I guess we have no say in the matter (ha, like we have any say anyway).

You and PC both agree brother. I can understand why you wouldn't bother on Nintendo at this point but honestly, why not PC? They did well with GTA V so I don't see why they would skip out on it for RDR2.

Well yeah but they don't have games where you are the one running around killing real (in likeness) people. We are talking zombies, monsters, bad guys. Rockstar is know for us being the bad guy and playing as said bad guy. It just don't work for them.

I actually used to think that eventually that Rockstar games would be put onto Nintendo consoles but they never advanced as much. Though now, I think the Switch could handle it but I don't thing they want these kinds of games anymore.
