Cattle rustling

In gta v they added a gun running dlc where you can move product and other players can blow up your product. With that being said imagine if they added a similar dlc in rdr2 where you can steal other players cattle or kill them while the owner take them into town to sell for profit.

I think this would be a pretty cool aspect. Like you will want to work as a team then. So if you plan on doing this, you will want a few friends with you. The whole point of an online community like this is to have friends and enemies.

I agree with ya to a point. Not everyone plays these games as a group though. I knew of plenty of people who played online GTA because they had no one to play with, not because they did. So for those of us who do almost always play online games solo, it can be a bit of an issue.

Yeah it would be a way to connect people and if people are solo they can take part on taking them on and killing off there cattle, for solo players I think they can still do the event but have fewer cattle to sell at a time

How about stealing cattle then as well? Like you can kill someone and then take their cattle. That would be annoying yet very realistic. I am all for little additions like this. I am sure they will add in things like this though as time goes on. They wont include everything because they want us shmucks to pay for DLC.

There are little things like this that for me, would make this game AMAZING! I know some people may not care about it but the online end should be closely related to living back in the day so not just gang only work but actual farm work being in the game would be a huge plus for me.

I think it would be cool if it was a separate mission kind of like heists in GTA online.

where someone could choose how many of their own cattle would be on the move and they can choose the split in the profit among however many players on their side while the rustlers' side would get the value of each cow the manage to steal.

I don't think this would work in free roam because every time someone starts the move all 30 people in the lobby would attack all at once, every time

I was thinking the same thing. It would just get too messy. If it is a mission though then you don't have to worry about being side winded by a bunch of people. I guess you could still have cattle in free roam people can kill if you don't watch over them.

If you are going to do anything like this, it is best to make it in a separate area. Like the quest portals. Like mentioned above, it would get too sloppy and I think it would end in people mostly complaining.

I agree with CowBoii on this one. It would end up becoming a mess if people had to worry about being killed, worry about their horse being killed, AND worry about their cattle being killed.
