tadp0le
So this is a bit random here but I am curious. It seems like a lot of people I know who were all about the game no longer seem to be as interested which makes no sense to me. I guess they are casual fans or maybe just general Rockstar fans or something. Either way, I find that I am more hyped specially because I am impatient. This is a game I have been waiting for since 2012 so no way would a delay make me lose interest or be put off. I just don't understand that mindset. Alborghetti
So the longer the wait the more hyped you become? To the majority, myself included, it's the other way around. The game feels so distant right now I even sometimes find it outlandish to think we'll be playing it someday. However, in May, before that damned delay announced, everyone was extremely thrilled about the game because everyone thought it was so close to being released. You could see that excitement everywhere, on forums, on Youtube, on Twitter... But now that the release is many months away, people turned their focus to other stuff, but don't worry, as soon as Rockstar releases something new (in a few weeks, we hope) the hype train will be back at its full potential. Lonestar
These last few months have flown by and I am sure the next few will too... Then March/April next year will be right around the corner and the hype will go to levels we can't even fathom
Jamesie
Yeah it's the quiet before the storm I say. Quite understandable that people don't want to get too hyped up about something they won't see for near on 8 or so months (especially with a lack of any information on the game to get us hyped up more than what we were before the delay). Plus there are probably at least one or two cracker games to play before the time to take our minds off of it a bit.
riptide87
Ehh. I was more hyped when they first revealed it vs now. As of now, I am just ehh. I can't explain it. I know a trailer will put me back in spirits for the game though.
watery buffalo
Yes and no. I know it will come out eventually but at the same time, I hate waiting. The lack of news has put me off more than the delay. I was expecting something else by now. That is what is really bugging me at this point. Jackthestripper
I get more and more excited every day. I waited sooooo long just to hear whether or not R* was going to even make this game. When they finally did, I was and still am excited and looking forward to it. The fact that it has been delayed is not something I was happy about, but I truly believe that if waiting a few months longer will make it a better experience. I'll put it to you this way....the day this game comes out, I will be playing it for about 3 days straight, and I will be taking time off work to really dive into it. I love RDR that much. Yes, I'm crazy.
Anc1entC0re
I am indifferent about it. I am not happy about the delay but it isn't going to make me less excited for the game. It is like I have been waiting for this long, what is another few months. I have things going on in the fall anyways so not a big deal for me. DiamondDave
It hasn't put me off but it has made me lose focus/interest. I know the second they release something new, like a trailer or some story details, I will be right back on board with it. So in a way, it has just made me less obsessed with the release I guess. I wish I could say I feel the same as you here but I really don't. I feel like it is just making me lose interest. Not the delay so much as the lack of news but still. I will happily play the game when it does come out but talking about it is running dry for me right now. That is a bad sign.
