Need some friendly rooms

I think it's rediculous that I have a hundred dollars in hides on my horse cone into a town to sell them n get shot by some a hole n bam all my hides are gone and I'm out of that money maybe make it so we can have a friendly Lobby or something bcuz this is not fair spend two hours hunting n lose everything because someone wants to be a jerk n shoot you for nothing

Hey bud we have found a way to have the server all to yourself. Simply start a teddy Brown mission and don't follow Harley up the trail. He will stay put untill you return to him. Freeing you up to hunt , fish . pick herbs , or whatever you fancy for as long as you like !  You need everyone on the same tactic thoe. If not your cup of tea join us at western avengers posse or ghostly guns posse. We play on est time.  Ps4. Carry on good sir !

I am going to do this tonight. Thanks man. I been having so many issues when I am just trying to hunt. If I am not getting killed, I am getting trolled and it is annoying as hell. Like I have to always have a few friends online with me just to be able to hunt. They have to watch my back and vice versa.

You can also just go fishing at Quaker's Cove near Blackwater or up at O'Creaghs Run by Hamish's hut. At QC you get steelhead trout and sockeye salmon at OCR. They are $2.50 each. The max is 10 fish you can carry. At these locations you can also catch rock bass, smallmouth bass, perch, bluegill and both types of pickerels. 10 of each will net you in total about $65. The cool thing about this method is if a player shoots you. You will keep the fish you have caught and lose nothing. I find hunting too limiting and of course don't do it, for the reasons you have outlined above.

What platform are you on? If you're interested, we run a larger crew that is hosting sessions pretty much every day where we join together and run as (sometimes multiple) posses. We protect our backs and we are usually quite successful with it. We tend to avoid large battles with hostile randoms. We run XB1 only.

I really hope they set up some passive rooms where you can't kill other players. Sometimes I just wanna fish and hunt. I have to worry about getting pegged in the head or my horse getting a bullet in its arsecheek anytime I am on the game now. It wasn't this bad a few weeks back. Seems to be getting worse.

Also, there is a glitch where you lose your skins at the butcher.  I dont bother with skins now.  Just stuff your pockets with feathers and meat, then if you get shot, kicked out etc, you keep your stash (plus many feathers are worth a fortune!! - Herons, Spoonbills, Pelican, owls etc)

I have seen this mentioned enough times that I would like to think it will be a thing eventually. I don't mind how it is now but sometimes I just don't wanna deal with the pvp aspect of the game. You can't really avoid it though.

It's all the hackers n glitchers that bother me. Man if u suck so bad u have to cheat shoot yourself please. Red dead won't stop them. I've reported alot with proof and they still play on.

Hackers are very, very rare in this game (I never crossed one myself). What you are experiencing is people finding out what glitches there are and taking advantage of them. I think this is why Rockstar isn't punishing them outright. They are helping them fix the game in a way.

They haven't fixed a lot of things and this is also a beta.

If you haven't heard, there is a title update inbound on 2/26:

 

I'm not saying this particular issue will be addressed in that TU but there will be updates to help squash some known bugs.  .....along with new mechanics being implemented and improved.
