RDO POKER!!!

Hey gunslingers who loves the poker games in RDO. Personally I think it rocks and playing against other players makes it challenging and fun.  Cool that you can also play poker in five locations; St Denis, Blackwater, Flatneck Station, Valentine and Tumbleweed.

Yep! I love it! I spent most of the night, yesterday, playing poker, haha.

I had a few good hands, surprisingly!  One of them being a nice Ace + King --woo!

Once I noticed there was a @20 buy in, I got scared off.  I'm not really one to gamble in real life either. 😄

I need to make some more money first and then I'll revisit the poker table.  I've been away a while and have less than I realized.  I like to maintain a balance threshold so I always have plenty of cash if I need it.  .....funny how real life habits work their way into how I play games sometimes.  🤔

I noticed the buy-ins kept going up. I was in Valentine when the buy-in was 25$ --sheesh. 

I'm not really one to gamble either but Poker is a pretty fun game --I wonder if you're able to talk over the mic during a Poker session? I was tempted, haha. 

Good strategy, Kean_1, it's always good to have cash on hand. I'm too irresponsible with my money, haha.

looks like this will be my new moneymaker... played $25 buy in @ st denis... doubled my money in 3 hands... quit after half an hour with $75... players at my table were REALLY bad... going all in with nothing hands... be patient and go hard with premium hands

75 bucks nice one. My luck, I have come up against players who know what they are doing lol.  So its been up and down for me.

I've been waiting for Poker in RDO since day one. Very happy to see it added. I expect Blackjack will be added at some point, too. There are a few saloons with Blackjack tables - Rhodes is one. I noticed with the big spring update that the Blackjack tables looked nicer, so it feels like that may happen soon.

BTW, I predict that one day we'll all be playing high stakes poker on that beautiful river boat that sits just out of reach off the coast of Saint Denis. Just as Arthur did. I'm sure they're waiting to release that to us, but one day it will happen. Perhaps something like a $100 buy in. Playing high stakes just like Arthur - damn that would be sweet.
