I will start doing tickets on this along with all of you. Don't think I will mess with anything as of yet because I think it is r*'s problem. Too bad cause it was looking like the game might be fun with all the updates. 1
Kean_1 Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 Yes, please report it. THe only way R* will recognize this issue is if people submit trouble tickets. I know this is a general PS4 error but most of us here haven't experienced this problem until after the last update. .....and whether it is a Sony issue or R*, it still affects their game. In my case, it's the only game that is affected by this currently on my system.

Clearing the game cache on your console can often resolve odd behavior with the client on consoles. You do not have to worry about losing any progress, as this simply clears some temporary files associated with the game. 1. First exit the game and then press and hold the PlayStation button on your controller. 2. Select Turn Off PS4 and let the PlayStation 4 fully power down for at least 30 seconds. 3. Then restart the PlayStation 4 and launch the game. Hold L1 + R1 while booting up the game. Please do not hesitate to contact us back if you have a concern and we are happy to help. Ok I will try this even though I don't believe this will fix it.

Ok I will try this even though I don't believe this will fix it. It doesn't, sorry. I would highly advise against messing with your router settings or even initializing your system. When I first googled the error code before starting this thread I read that it's an issue with the Rockstar servers. Just keep submitting error reports through PlayStation and reopening your support tickets with Rockstar Support.

Rockstar Support ...so, it seems that according to this rep, R* knows about the issue and are working to resolve it. I will try to get a confirmation and let them know others are getting a mixed signal. However, please note that I had already gone through all of the steps leading up to that reply when none of them worked. It's possible that they have been told to do those troubleshooting steps first to make sure. 1

If the problem wasn't there before the update for everyone and now its there than it is pretty obvious that it is on there end. If this does get resolved, I'll finally be able to start playing with others finally. Maybe we can ride together again if your up for it. I haven't even done any of the story missions because I didn't want to crash in the middle of one. 1

Dtrtwing Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Something very interesting tonight. I have been having this issue since the update. So tonight I played with a friend of mine from England. So i joined him curious to see what would happen on a U.K. Server. We played for over 5 hours. Not one crash. Not one disconnect. After he went to bed I switched to and American server. Wasn't on thirty minutes and bluescreen crash.

Rockstar Support Sooo, This dude wants me to contact PlayStation basically on behalf of Rockstar, essentially trying to pass the blame (famous action) and do their job BEFORE they investigate further? I'm going to write back and tell him that's not my job - but on the other hand I actually am curious of PlayStation will see this as ludicrous as me... I think it really depends on who you get as a representative too. I've had numerous issues but my biggest issue is in regards to Accessibility and I recall Vernon V. and Marques A. basically passing the blame onto me and Sony for not being able to use some features due to disability, then basically insulted me for using a modified controller lol. 1

The people answering for support have shown me by now they are clueless. What I can't decide is if as tech support they are not getting all the info they need or are all a bunch of lazy worthless tech support agents. If I screencapped my entire ticket it would get a laugh as well as a lot of head shaking. If you like tell them you talked to playstation. Because i did yesterday and playstation basically said if it is only happening with one game on your system then it is and issue red dead has, not the playstation. All they have done since I opened my ticket on May 17 is pass the buck. Not one time have they taken ownership and said they would look into any of this. 1

I am stumped. <Tips hat>... Howdeh... 😂 So I crashed again today after about an hour. I went to chill out and watch a streamer I follow who plays RDR2 steady. He was live. Within 45 minutes of me watching his 600+ viewer stream, he blue screen crashed 3 times lol ffs. I said in the chat "it's my fault, guys, I brought the error with me" He said he's been fighting with support too. 1

Anymore I log on and try to compete one daily to keep my streak going and then just wait for the blue screen crash. I am amazed that after this long they havent fully acknowledged this. Many techs will not even mention that it might be on their end. At about 3am I will be playing on a U.K. server again gonna see if I go a second day without a crash on a U.K. Server.
