That's because the majority of people who play CoD don't play the way GR players do and that won't change just because Breakpoint ended up a dud.
KoiiBoii Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 Played the game last night at a friends and I have to say, it looks great. I am almost tempted to get it... ALMOST. The thing that is holding me back is the fact that I would have to get it on PC. I have no way of knowing how good or bad it is on PC either because it isn't on Steam so I can't read reviews.

Steam reviews aren't really a good measure of quality since so many give bad ratings for trivial reasons like DLC being late or delayed and such.

I didn't see it as an available option in the betas and to be honest, I got tired /frustrated with the game to the point that I didn't play past the first day in both. ....I really hated the twitch shooter aspects. It literally gives me headaches. I also don't like the "free for all" or "every man for himself" gameplay that most resort to. I will say that HC and SpecOps were the two things I was most looking forward to. I figured I would would wait a while until I could find more in-game footage of these modes. Back on the "every man for himself point", I did see some footage of SpecOps where even then the group simply didn't communicate and coordinate their actions. ....and then they talked about how hard the mode was. ....smh. I think I saw a couple milsim YT personalities talking about the game. I'm going to see if they have any coverage as they are way more likely to play the game like myself and my friends would. I hear you. My favorite modes are Search & Destroy and Cyber Attack. Even though those two still get the run-of-the-mill CoD players who think they’re playing Team Deathmatch, I have a lot of fun there. Gunfight too. The only time I touch TDM is when I need to rack up kills for a gun challenge. Edited November 4, 2019 by Enoch 1

Have you ever played a CoD after the new one comes out? It is a mess. This is the case with console too. I have played older CoD games that have been out for 2+ years and still had over 3,000 people playing but 80% of them were hacking or cheating the game through exploits.

Oh I know, I have seen those. I will actually read a lot of them. Anytime I buy something online I will spend a good hour reading reviews if they are there. I do see those kinds of reviews but a lot of the focus was on major lag issues and being kicked from lobbies mid-game.

This is down to the fact that they stopped running updates and just don't care to fix anything. Players find ways to exploit the game and cheat. I think this will happen with any popular game that stays active on servers. 1
