Who was your favorite character in RDR?

You can’t say John Marston! Also who was your least favorite character? For me  I’d say a tie between Irish and West Dickens, and by far my least being Luisa. I don’t talk about his son Jack, as far as I’m concerned he was never in the game.

I loved Red Harlow and all the wacky, zany characters in Red Dead Revolver but in terms of Red Dead Redemption I'd say my favourite characters other than John Marston were Drew MacFarlane, Espinoza, Uncle, Nastas and Landon Ricketts.

I didn't care much for Jack Marston as a character but I'm ultimately glad he was in the game, John having a wife and son added something to his character and I feel Jack Marston was the best solution to allow players to carry on playing the game after John's spectacular exit.

There isn't any characters that come to mind when trying to think of a least favourite character, I feel Rockstar is very good at making even the most vile and annoying characters like Captain Vincente de Santa and Colonel Agustin Allende fun to hate so that when they get their comeuppance it's that much more satisfying.

Bonnie Macfarlane, the Sheriff, and Ricketts were my favorite.

I think the wife should have been in the story more.

Jack, I could have done without.  He just annoyed me at the end when he was grown up yet had the exact same voice.

John hands down. I mean there were a lot of great characters but I never connected with one in any game quite like I did with Marston.

Yup this is how I felt. I did really enjoy Dutch though. I have a feeling I will be more keen on liking him in RDR2 than Arthur but we shall see.

I liked Irish. He was just an utter mess of a man and I found it quite enjoyable to play Man Is Born Unto Trouble and listen to his drunken Irish accent.

That was a fun mission. I liked him a lot but I can't help but pick John over everyone every time I think about it. I don't even think it was because we played the story as him, but rather his overall character.
