All Red Dead Online players who reach a 3-day Daily Challenge Streak (one Challenge per day) by July 29th will receive a bonus Treasure Map. Treasure Maps can be accessed in the Documents tab of your Satchel and contain high value rewards - often including RDO$ and Gold - for those who seek them. 

Joining any Free Roam Event will pay out additional rewards this week, with 30% extra RDO$ & XP for participating. Meanwhile, it pays to work as a group with extra benefits to playing in a Posse - earn 30% bonus XP on all activities while playing in a Temporary or Persistent Posse. Plus you can start up a Persistent Posse for 50% off to ride with up to 7 players and earn extra benefits.

If you haven't got a stitch to wear this week, the Wheeler, Rawson and Co. Catalogue has got you covered with plenty of new wares. Try two new colors of the burnished leather Gibbston Pants or slip into a pair of Blackburn Boots – also available in two color-ways and are permanent additions to the Catalogue.

Meanwhile, for players with more formal engagements to attend: the dapper Fanned Stovepipe Hat and the dashing Irwin Coat are both available while stocks last.

A visit to your local Fence and Gunsmith is also recommended, with 25% off essential ordnance provisions like the Incendiary Buckshot Pamphlet, Small Game Arrow Pamphlet, Studded Explorer Gun Belt and the Sharpshooter Gun Belt. You can also take 25% off the Potent Predator Bait Pamphlet to craft your own bait.

Twitch Prime members who have linked their account to their Rockstar Games Social Club profile can lay claim to the Tasman and Danube outfits, the boisterous "How Dare You"emote and the high-powered Carcano Rifle, all for free and with no Rank locks.

Likewise, Twitch Prime members who play Red Dead Online this week will receive an additional 10% discount on all of the discounts listed above: 60% off the Permanent Posse fee and 35% off the Incendiary Buckshot Pamphlet, Small Game Arrow Pamphlet, Potent Predator Bait Pamphlet, Studded Explorer Gun Belt and the Sharpshooter Gun Belt.

Pretty good package. It would be nice if they could one day put together a separate package for day 1 players. I took advantage of the free emoji cause why not??? Didn't have the rifle so that was nice.

I really was hoping for the summer update bcoz tbh summer is ending so it's confusing. Especially bcoz imo R* has many updates ready to go but is sitting on it to postpone them as much as they can. When the playerbase frustration reaches its limits- bang update. That is how i see it. 

Treasure map is cool and all but srsly. We need more. 

I love the game and play everyday but its starting to be a bit boring for high rank players. We need new content and new money sinks.

Technically the last day of summer is Sept 22nd so they have until then. A lot of people are starting to think it should come around August 6th when Rockstar releases their quarterly report.

Summer is ending?  It just started a month ago.  We're only 1/3 into it at this point.  We still have until late Sept.   

I agree that RDO is lacking content which is why I'm playing other games at the moment including GTAO and the new Casino update.

I think allot of these gaming companies all subscribe to the Skinner's box theory of gaming.  Or at least they went to the same class.  I hate posting 3rd party links but this site explains it better than I could ever do

Some of them are better at implementation than others...my opinion is R* stinks at it for RDO and great at it for GTO.

They make everything super expensive so you gain perceived value.

They keep you coming back for the dailies, free gifts etc.

Most of all they all keep you fustrated

I also still play daily but getting to point where I might take extended period off

This game surely lacks content

Time goes so fast during the summer for me bcoz i run private business at the sea and work in my regular job at the same time. I feel like June started maybe a week ago and its the end of July. August will fly fast as well so im feeling the "end" of summer. I hope they implement the update till then. 

I never tried GTA V and GTAO but liked the older wersions  and played them all. Maybe ill buy a copy today and have a look. 

EDIT : But yeah Casino update..... not im my Country im affraid. I dont even have poker in RDRO.....

GTAV was a fun game IMO.  GTAO can be fun too but in public lobbies, it's a really crap fest.  I only play in private sessions with friends or in public but only after adjusting my MTU setting so it places me in a session typically by myself.

Yeah, I read that the new Casino Update isn't available in about 50 countries.  It's a shame....  The gambling is proving to be pretty fun and we're also enjoying the missions.  I also got a free penthouse, some chips and some other benefits through their Twitch Prime promo.  Been having a blast so far.
