SageNinja
I noticed I have been kind of down lately. More tired. More stressed. Bored. Just feeling a bit down. Someone told me I might get that seasonal depression that some people get during the winter from spending too much time indoors and not getting enough sunshine and fresh air. Anyone else get this? What do you do about it if you do?
buttlint
I have lived in Michigan all of my life and I haven't seen the sun in 2 months. Then I think about living in Florida and I suddenly don't feel so bad anymore.

The area I was in had some loopy people as well. They just didn't seem like they were from this country, some not even from this planet. lol

They come up here for the holidays and I swear they lose 10 IQ points between every visit. I turn the thermostat down to 62 just to see how long it takes to make their noses run. It helps cure my seasonal depression.
Coyote
Always seeing Florida people in the news too LOL As for the OP's question, I would say yeah somewhat. I feel like spending more time indoors tends to make anyone feel a bit caged and down. Maybe try getting out and getting active when the sun is out? Even just a walk. Jammin Jim
Cold weather, less son, and people getting sick left and right... Yeah I think most people shift a bit unless you love the snow or you are a kid praying for a snow day to stay home from school. lol
KoiiBoii
I think this is happening to me. Never had an issue before but just felt a bit down lately. It is hard to explain. Not full blown depression or anything but I struggle to stay in a positive mindset.
MadMatt
My mother had SAD and came to find out it was caused by a Vitamin D3 deficiency which is fairly common in areas that have cold winters. She started eating more fish and took a supplement and does so every fall/winter and no longer has the issue.
redscrew
Go outside more. If you spend too much time indoors, you are bound to feel this. Doesn't matter what time of the year it is. I know when I don't get out enough, I start to just feel drained and unmotivated to do anything.
