liquidfire
Been quite stressed recently. Having issues at work, trouble sleeping, and just generally not feeling to great. I had a falling out with a friend which is a long story. I just been too damn stressed and it is getting to me. My sister and I were talking the other day and she told me I need to manage it since anxiety disorders run in our family and I am still young enough to have one start. So looking for some new ways to handle stress. What does everyone here do?
Parzival
Mercenaries 2: World in Flames. You have no idea how therapeutic it is to drop a nuclear bunker buster on a city.
RON
Video games honestly. It is something I do for fun but also to reduce stress. I used to draw but I honestly suck at it and gave up. I had considered taking up a new hobby that is more creative like woodworking or something similar but I would need to invest in tools and money is too tight at the moment. xsugarskull
I just sleep more. It helps because stress tends to make me tired and it is easier to just shut down my brain more often to relax.
Jammin Jim
I got on GTA V and beat up hookers. But a real answer, I will usually do something productive. It never helps to just sit still in your thoughts when you are stressed over something.
Enoch
Go for a hike in the woods. One thing we humans tend to do nowadays is spend too much time under fluorescent lights and in steel buildings. Getting out into nature always helps calm my nerves. The silence and beauty are tranquil, soothing for the soul. It helps reestablish your equilibrium. Plus the sunlight is a good source of Vitamin D to help your immune system. Other suggestions include playing a chill game that doesn’t have a lot of consequences. RDR can be that when you’re just fishing or hunting (when it works). Fishing IRL can be that, too (if you’re into that). Read a book. No lag, no griefers, just you and the words on the page.
