0 Kean_1
Yep..... Also if the kill is next to other obstructions where it interferes with the animation. Welcome to RDR2.org btw.
0 Coyote
Yeah you can make use of that and what Kean mentioned. The animation is great for the first 10 times but gets old fast so people were fast on figuring out ways to speed it up.
0 Tater
If you put your horse over it, wouldn't the horse likely step on it and ruin the pelt?
0 Gr4derm4n
I carry the cactus carcass and throw it under my horse. But yes I did notice a couple went from perfect to poor at first so that is most likely why. I'd kill for a non-glitch option to skip it. You hear that, Rockstar? Add the option, then tell me who the target is and they'll be six feet under within a week!
0 Foxtrot
I don't mind the animation at all. For me, RDR2 has always been a relaxing game with the odd moment of terror and fury. I'm perfectly ok with these pastoral moments of calmness.
0 Parzival
The option to skip it for those that want to do so wouldn't hurt, though.

I don't mind it either with the exception of wolves where the animation briefly locks you out of being able to look around you. I also find it adds a level of tension as you are vulnerable for that period while you are harvesting the animals. Personally, I believe it's these animations and interactions in the gameworld that help make RDR2 immersive. If anything, I would love to see things like reloading slowed down to something resembling a halfway believable pace. If we were to skip animations like these, the game simply wouldn't feel the same IMO. ......the work to gather these things would also feel effortless so what's the point IMO? .....and where do we stop with nixing mechanics like this?
