Recommended Posts

A bit too early for full details but so far just "general stability fixes and improvement"

What IS odd is that the update is around 600mb on ps4, 700mb on pc but a whopping 3GB! on xbox. (some timed exlusives that have finaly been released on xbox perhaps??)

3/10/20 UPDATE:  Adding the patch notes to your original post so folks will see it more easily:

Sounds like it.

Thanks for posting this. I'll reformat the title a bit if that's ok with you and we'll make this the official 1.19 update thread.  I'll add it to the sticky as well later when I get a chance.

  • Kean_1 changed the title to 3/9/20 1.19 Update

I decide to give it a go, since R* said they improved stuff. I have to say that things are looking up.  Last 4 months haven't seen 1 animal to kill.

Now, I'm at least able to fill my camp up  100% of materials.

1st time I noticed animals stop spawning. I fast travel to a new location & started looking for Collectibles. After collecting a few Collectibles, I started seeing animals spawning again. Not sure if I was just lucky to get them spawning again. Few other time I've had issues with animals not spawning, I just do a Story Mission or a Bootlegger Mission & animals start to spawn in again.

I'm also able to see dynamic events & gang hideouts are back.

The game still has it's issues, but it's a lot better than a few months ago.

Well at least R* is trying to work on the issues. Even though they're working at a snails pace.

No improvement after latest update at all. 99% empty animal world. I saw some cows from far, but they vanished at approach for a kill. Picto of my camp was on the map, but in reality vanished, aso !!!!

Í'm curious about improvements Spring master update later this month ???

Yea, have a feeling any and all possible bugg fixes realy gets overshadowed by lack of animal spawns. Stranger events are linked to it i guess cuz i have not seen any since first week of december.

Then again, i honestly did not expect yesterdays update to be anything but a removal of the battlepass that ends today.

Saw y-day when back from work that my console was downloading a 3,09 GB patch and i decided to give it a try.

When i logged in i was in the swamp area and instantly i heard aligator close by. Killed 3 of them and realised that my camp was gone. Had to try 4 times to succesfully open a new camp site and went to the camp.   I got a supply mission (hunt a deer) and was able to find 3 deers in no time. Finished the quest happy and after a few mins the world was empty again. Oh and i came across one dynamic event (the camp rescue).

I also noticed that the game works a bit smoother but i can be wrong bcoz im playing other games atm and maybe i just got used to them.

Overall good that they are trying something but its not enough for me. Ill keep waiting for content upgrade and hope for other fixes until then.

Have been finding occasional animal spawns for the past week so I wouldn't say any change people that have been away for a while are noticing is down to yesterday's update. I was shocked on Saturday as I actually managed to find 7 medium animal carcasses to give to Cripps (wasn't easy but I did manage it eventually).
