I am a trapper & moonshiner, both worthwhile .

I only briefly used the Moonshiners role, the cost of my mash was more than the profit I made. Obviously I’m doing something wrong, but between this role, Bounty Hunter, and Trader, I would say the Trader role has good payouts. I haven’t tried the Collector role.

Based on my experience the Moonshiner role give more payout and exp than the trader role.

To get 100 goods you need 3 hours of Cripps time wich will give You 2500 xp for long run and 4 x 500 xp for material missions (one in every 25 goods produced) this gives you 4500 xp and takes about 3,5 - 4 hours with the delivery time added. 650 RDO$

Now Moonshiner produces every 48 min goods worth 244 $ and 900+ xp so in less than 3 hours You will have 2700+ xp Just for delivery. I know that the bottles can be broken but its very easy to deliver without loosing a single one using the auto drive and choosing correct speed (trot). Delivery from Bayo NWA moonshiner location are the shortest ones out of all locations. Same with missions.

Now we have over 2700 xp in less than 3 hours but the deal are missions. One moonshiner mission gives 300 xp and takes a few mins. Dont forget the dead bodies of shiners or agents almost always !! have collectors items on their bodies so thats 150 xp for each one.   Now the cherry on the cake: Moonshiner story mission with the boat ( 3rd one i believe ). It takes 13-15 mins to finish that mission and it gives about 2000 xp bcoz of the NPC's that You kill. The more You kill the better the XP. When mission starts kill all NPC's -=> they will spawn more so dont get in the boat when Fike tells you to. Just keep shooting until the spawn stops and then get in the boat. After that focus on killing every NPC you can. You will have to repair weapon during breaks from shooting and have full ammo of every type. Personally i start with fast ammo bcoz the first stages NPC's are far away and it makes ur range a bit better. When im out of 100 speed bullets i change to express. Dont do this mission on max difficulity bcoz it means no auto aim= less kills

Doing this mision + moonshiner mission gives You about 2500 xp in 22-25 mins and lowers the price on your mash to 10 rdo$.

In the same time as with the trader You wil get ~700 RDO$, some collector's items and ~10k xp !!!!

Now the collector. Its the most profitable and xp wise role in the game. If you use maps provided in the internet you can lvl very fast and obtain large ammounts of cash. The problem is its boring, booooooring, booooooring. Running from point to point and picking up stuff kills me. I have soo many treasure maps in my inventory (max actually) and soo many in post box and cant force myself to collect them. Some ppl may like the collectiong but not me.

You know I never thought about it from a time point of view. How many Moonshiner missions do you recommend doing before buying your mash for maximum profit and reduced mash cost?

The cycle is always the same. One moonshiner mission and the story mission with the boat. Then set up mash for 10 rdo$. Then deliver booze and repeat.

Be careful, don't wait too long or Fike will leave your arse behind. I had to call my horse & follow him. :D Which isn't bad, I got the bonus xp (+5 xp Death Rider) for killing bots on the horse.

Collector makes you the most money the fastest.

It is simple, all you need is the shovel, metal detector and the role, each collection is worth a different amount of money, the coins for exampel are 540.00 for a full set, and I think 1400 xp? or maybe 140 xp I forget.,

Well I had 6 full sets of coins and except for one coin, 9 full sets, same with every collectible category, I plan to sell them all after I get the new role so I can use that xp towards the pass.

Collector will make you the most money, the trader is good as a passive background money making business, same as the moonshiner.

Once you upgrade the shack the whole way there's quick cash and good xp to be made at moonshining.  The margin isn't great but it's fine.  A batch of strong moonshine only takes 48 minutes to mix, but sells for over $200.  The mash costs $30-$50 depending on how many recent bootlegger missions you have carried out.  Plus it's great for dailies.  If I log in for an hour, I can set the mix going when I log in, then 50 minutes later sell it and trouser $150+ in profit, for very little work.  Plus drinking your own moonshine gives a decent stat boost for a while.  It is well worth doing in conjunction with other activities.

It was, it is not as it usede to be. Now items spawns "random" meaning we`ll never know where to find what or when.

Like I did the other day. Noticed I had 9 of 15 coins so I decided to find the missing ones by using jeanropke`s map. But instead of just pinpointing the missing items I had to search the whole map and hope.  Two hours and 15 coins later I found myself now hawing 10 out of 14. Wow. That kind of kills the collector-role

......well, you didn't forget about us now did you?  ;)

I don't know. It seems an admin setting was changed in the upgrade that might filter links, attachments, etc. that require approval before allowing to post. I noticed the same thing.

......but if I remember I'll hit up the Admin and see if it can be fixed to help folks out.
