VICKSUN
I am one of the people who likes playing both online and storyline modes in games. One of my biggest disappointments with RDR1 was the card shark aspect where people were rewarded based on spending and not actual time spent in game. I don't like games that do this crap. I see a lot of it on Steam and I refer to them as P2W games aka PAY to WIN. I hope they do away with this.
Skrylaxx
I don't have a problem with people buying upgrades but I feel like it should still have a limit on it. Make people play the game for so many hours because they are given the freedom to have power over everyone else. Buying crap outright ain't fair to anyone not looking to throw more money at a game. I feel the same. This is the only logical way to go about this. This means you have to invest before you can "buy power". I remember when I started playing online I was the only one on a stupid donkey lol

I didn't even think of the rewards they may do for content creators assuming they have the open editor for PC... Also assuming there is a PC version. CrabApples
I don't mind having the option to pay real money. From what I know, Rockstar never really had an issue using this in a way that forced people to pay in order to be good. If you are good at the game then you won't have any issues. MajorPain
@i KB Microtransactions suck no doubt, but in GTA Online it's not like you 100% need to pay anything to progress. It can just take a bit of time. There is no content whatsoever that is locked away for people who pay real money only. And in fact, the shark cards are handy for some people who don't have much time to play/grind and would rather just pay.
SNIP3XL
I don't think Rockstar Games would be so stupid as to ever block off content for those people only who have paid real cash for it. Maybe unless it was a massive SP expansion but then again, Grand THeft AUto V hasn't seen anything in terms of SP DLC.
HIGHHorse
I don't see any problem with having options to buy things with real money. It supports the game. BUT if you are paying for things like faster horses or stronger weapons than what can be found/unlocked/used in the game without spending money... Then I have a problem with that.
