Howdy CowPeeps, I hope you're all enjoying the holiday season and getting overweight on mince pies and plain venison. Well, the other day I was at camp with the white flag raised crafting and cooking some things when two griefers turned up. Cos I play as a woman even though I'm a bloke these two dudes thought it would be funny to stick their crotches in my face while I was crouched. Then they tried shooting, lassoing and all the usual things people do when they're bored. Revenge is due, my friends, I thought. Do you know you can lower the white flag without standing near it? You can do it from the d-pad. While the flag was raised I got these dudes used to having a gun aimed at them. Then to wind them up I stood in front of them and drank a beer. Then when they were grouped together I lowered the white flag (from the d-pad) and took them out. By the time they'd respawned and returned the flag was back up and they were p*ssed. I sat on my horse, waited for them to calm down and to distract them again I put on my polka dot frock, jumped off the horse and arrogantly drank another beer at them, lowered the white flag from the d-pad and killed them again. They stupidly came back unaware they were being outwitted so I mounted up and just followed them around the camp until they got bored. When they rode off at speed I killed them yet again. They came back and this time the flag was already lowered and I was just standing there. They approached but didn't draw weapons. So I killed them. The moral is, don't come to my home waving your willy about cos you might just get castrated X

I was expecting that to go somewhere else, but was a good wee story. The thing is, we're an Island race, and there's not any native black people from here, so it isn't uncommon to hear terms like this that would offend other people, that mean absolutely nothing other than an are that you're from. Like people from Cumbernauld are all Jakies..

@LastUnicorn if you can manage to avoid the neverending waves of bounty hunters that spawn as soon as you cross the border. There are other places (like Van Horn) where you won't get a bounty. The whole town will attack you, but you don't have to worry about a bounty when you kill them all (just the hit to your honor).

Not during the Beta it seems.

Well, I don;t know if you heard but R* had already acknowledged that griefing was a major complaint they have been receiving as feedback and will be implementing new, "anti-griefing" measures after the holidays (next year). I suspect things will really begin to ramp up as the new year begins.

I like do to listen to them talk about how they are going to kill me, while they are being so sneaky and try to ambush me. It has been a crapshoot though. Not that many really use it.

There's a big problem with your list....... it makes sense, so R* most likely won't implement them...lol

More content - reduce boredom griefing Choice to spawn in camp - reduce repeat killing More butchers/doctors trappers - reduce butcher grief camping No pelt loss from death - remove the sense of frustration from being killed People who shoot/kill PCs/horses get highlighted as hostiles on map - allow people to avoid griefers easily Remove pink dots from map, except for those marked hostile, on missions, or those near stores - obvious benefits Parley system to apply to whole posse - obvious benefits Safe zones, like churches and sheriffs offces - give people more chance to hide from griefers Increase number and AI of NPC lawmen spawn in towns when responding to player v player violence Hostile mark and bounty reward for repeat offenders (if your posse has killed three or more players recently) for X mins

Yes, i found all of the serial killer clues by just exploring and using the provided maps and jack hall gang treasure with just the maps. The more you explore and become familiar with the surroundings the easier they are. It's just a much bigger world than RDR, takes more time and observation. Definitely worth it. you get 1-4 gold bars for each treasure found, 10 treasures total you can get easily before the end of the game. I finished the explorer challenge in chapter 3.

Unrelated issue, but kinda useful info. That you can clear cache game RDR2 by rapidly tapping R1L1 after start game, until this menu screen appear. It is original RDO game menu before creating character.

3 hours after my post, still having same problem. So, since I can't connect, I put ps4 into safemode. -turn off -power on & hold power button until it beep While in safemode i select "rebuild database" & then ....voila!...i'm online! 😀Haha... And no longer having that issue Don't know if this is coincidence, but you can try that

The only reason I leave it on is to listen to them scream, complain and try to insult me...lol Its music to my ears. Im one of those people that don't care about what people say as I don't take people literally.. I always look for what they actually mean and why. So when I get people yelling and insulting me because im beating them... Well, its just music to my ears.

This one dude, must have been a kid, he kept screaming and doing the dumbest things. Like I was trying to hunt and he kept screwing with me. A few of his friends joined and just followed me around. So I started talking to them when I noticed my buddy wasn't AFK anymore. I had him sneak up behind the three of them and kill them all. When they respawned we kept hunting them down for a good hour. If you don't let me fake hunt in virtual reality, you will become my target.

It's bloody good fun.

Last night on YouTube I saw a comment from a guy sick of being attacked by griefers ..... the first reply was "Awwww, who hurt you? It's just a game!!!!!' Now that is a griefer comment. There is it appears a certain level of deeply confused machismo attached to griefing, it is little boys wishing to be men . This why all the cat calling straight from the play ground... they think they are genuinely tough. They think this is how men act.... grown men do not act like that boys It reminds me something an acquaintance told me, he was an instructor for the new entry British Army Para Troopers "They haven't been let out for 3 months , they have just got their wings and are let out...... So they go down the local town and the local boys beat the crap out of them... These young para's mistake being fit the for the first time in their life, with being tough" Just because you have a digital gun in your hand does not mean you should inflict your presence onto someone else ... other people are NOT there to entertain you, infant. So be good little boys and keep to yourself or only attack people like yourself... you know, idiots

One guy started abusing me on his mic, swearing and stuff and saying "girls shouldn't be playing these type of games" and he was so busy doing it he fell off a cliff and died

Hello everyone, new to the forum. Is there a way to get my character back once it has been deleted. Apparently someone thought it would be funny to delete my character while I went out to get more beverages.
