  1. You should buy another horse as a backup, and carry insurance on them. I have my favorite original companion too, but a backup that's better than scrawny nag, is a must.

  2. Yes, avoiding the other players is really the only way to ensure you’ll never be killed by other players... But defensive mode does give you some advantages you can use to get the upper hand or escape a hostile player. But it does allow a hostile player to still try and kill you if they desire. Bottom line, it mostly works as intended, but you still have to be aware of your surroundings and do your part.

  3. Well, defensive mode isn’t supposed to be invincible mode. You still have to watch your back out there.

  4. Why not let it bug him? A player has every right to be bugged if not royally pissed off in such circumstances. For me, having a remarkably realistic virtual horse is the main reason I play this game. I love horses (all animals, really) but will never be able to afford one in real life. So I do everything possible to protect my horse in the game. Whenever I go to a town, I try to put the horse in a stable before walking around. If that isn't possible, I try to hitch him in an out-of-the-way place. There are too many things about this game that are difficult anyway, but griefers who shoot horses are among the worst scum. To me that's equally as bad as the frequent random server crashes...worse in some ways.

  6. We fixed the glitch. He won't be receiving a paycheck anymore, so it will just work itself out naturally!.

  8. This is a debate I never understood. I think it comes down to preference and price. Both systems handle the same games aside from exclusives and don't really differ in terms of performance. The next gen may be different though, we will have to wait and see.

  9. I'll have to share mine when I do an upgrade. As of now, what I have is not even worth posting. I am not even sure what I have in it at this point either. It was a pre-built tower with minor upgrades and is very outdated.

  10. IMHO you may be in the wrong game. You kind of asked what we think of that idea and then seem to defend your own position which is fine and cool oh, and you can certainly submit a suggestion to Rockstar. I think it's contrary to the idea and setting of the game. example there are ships in the game but IMHO I don't think there should be pirate costumes

  11. Hi All, I know some folks have been experiencing the infamous 05x0000006 error after the update. I reached out to R* Support because I also had this issue and wanted to know if this was a known issue. Turns out that it is and they are indeed working on it. Again, I can't stress enough how important it is for people to continue reporting bugs, etc. Even with known issues, the more complaints they receive, the better our chances are of having such problems prioritized. Thanks and I hope this helps some who have felt discouraged by this particular problem.

  12. Haha, yeah, I agree. I think some female gamers on RDR2 are friggin' blood thirsty! I can't claim the same for myself, however. I usually hunt, or fish, or craft things --I'm a bit reserved to approach anyone, anyway. I have to say that I -do- get hogtied a lot, at random I don't know if this is because I'm female, but it's rather annoying. Also, as for the equality stuff? I wouldn't except too much of that when it comes to gaming. There's a lot of kids, teens --all those hormones and such, lol.

  13. Im going to say no because 99.9999% I have no idea if the person is a male or female anyway. You can never tell anyway, Now, it occurred to me maybe you meant simply attractive female avatars in game and are those distracting, and I would say, so far not really but I can see that. especially a lady outlaw for many guy's can be very sexy so I guess I can understand how that might be distracting for a second, but all you have to do is remember the lady you are looking at, is most likely a 32 year old dude. I made my username nearly 20 years ago lumper because it was neither male or female, it was just lumper, I dont want to be judged one way or the other with interactions with strangers online.
