Yes story mode is a good shout, I'm not done with all the achievements there. Trouble is I have targets ahead of me in Elite, which isn't as good as RDR but is better than no gaming. My wife bought me 'The Hateful Eight' for a recent occasion, though, and I have been westerns through and through since I started on cinema in the 1980s, and love all the old ones, so I am fully committed to this game strategically. I just wish I could persuade myself that the studio cares!

*tin foil hat on. R* is not in a hurry to fix their game. Because all us day one players made tons of money and gold. So they have turned to new players. Gave them slight discounts. Kept the game half ass playable with barely any animals. Broke newbs + Gold Bars 4 Sale = Profit. Could be wrong tho… But that does sound like a Take Two type of move.

I feel you there. I got back to Story Mode to finish all achevements and im almost there - maybe a couple of days more. for 4 days now i started logging in to online but play mostly 1 hour max - just to see if something has changed. I really hope they will come with fixes and updates so we can sink in again. Sounds like fun there partner !!! Im trying to endure the "bad days" as well and still hope for a better future. I simply just love this game and cant make myself play something else. Mostly i do a couple of pvp matches and top cripps up a bit when i stumble across some game (yes !! sometimes i can find a couple of gators so its an improvement). Hell im leaving work right now after i finish this post, buy a six pack and start shooting I think i might be addicted to the game

I have finished the 100% completion 2 weeks ago and didnt have any problems with the explorer challenges although i heard that sometimes ppl have problems with some of the quests and had to restart the game or load a previous save to be able to finish it (sadly). R* will not give any help in case the game bugged out - so i heard from ppl having problems with. The most common bug there is out there is with the Hunting request quest line (small animals). Be sure to NOT have the same small pristine animal carcass that the quest requests at given time - it may cause the game to not load next parts of the quest and you will be stuck and not able to finish the quest line. Safest is just sell/delete any small pristine animal carcass from the satchel. (squirls, bats, rabbits, small birds) before starting the quest. No you don't. The Guarma specific animals don't count toward and achievments. You can grab them if you want to replay the game again, but you need not. You can obtain both those achievements by playing after the epilogue. Congrats on the 100% completion though, it's a good feeling to get that squared away.

Except this feels like a slap in the face to people who actually play the game and paid for items in game at full price. Seems to me this more a move by R* to keep player numbers up to appease their investors, as most of us day one players are basically giving up on the game in its current state. Game breaking issues are not something that should be 'kicked on down the line' till the next update. Minor issues, sure... I mean, what happens after next 'big update'.. And it gets worse? Do we wait till the end of summer for another fix? Also their twitter hasn't really change. People are still blasting R* on twitter. I should know, im one of them...lol 50% ? More like 5%. Glad your happy with what R* is doing tho. To each their own I guess.

I haven't done this myself but I have heard of some people running into issues with it. Hope someone here can help you out. I would say to contact Rockstar and open a support ticket but it can take over 10 days for them to get back to you right now.

This update seems pretty slim on top of that. .....but they are still trying to fix the game. I logged in the other day after weeks of being away and was surprised to see tons of animals on a packed server. Fixes are at snails pace but they are still working on it. I'm planning on putting in some more time since the animal spawns were the main reason I shelved the game for a while.

Le Sigh. Le Moan. Did they already give up on trying to fix the game? These constant discounts seem aimed more toward new/oblivious players to log in to maintain the illusion of a good player count to appease share holders. That can only go on for so long. Burning a candle at both ends type of thing.

So i am trying to get the Legend of the east outfit, and i have completed all the explorer challeng, but it says that i have only completed 7 out of 10, and i know the last 3 mission in the explore challeng are about The Poisonous Trail Map, and i have all the 3 maps for The Poisonous Trail Map, and collected the 4 gold bars. Does somebody know why it says that? can somebody pls help he
