Has Twitch and YouTube shed some light on the gamer fan base over the last 5 or so years? I feel like in general, the gaming community is A LOT worse than what it once was. This is thanks to kids (who have parents that will buy them anything, spoiled ones) and younger gaming adults who act like children themselves. What are your thoughts? Has it gone downhill? Is it just the same as it always was only we see it more thanks to Twitch and YouTube?

I like my fried with salt so I consider this fries. They sound like a good idea but after you eat them, and overeat them... You regret them. I hope I don't regret these. As mentioned, the tents thing sounds like a meme.

Enjoying those pictures. The graphics quality of this game is superb, to say the least. I was/am somewhat ticked off over the delay but there is nothing that can be done. Delays happen. I am just glad they are taking the time to make sure the game works like it should.

Well I am not to bothered either way. If it looks and sounds good enough, I will buy it - Zombies or not. I would like to see something different though seeing as these games are years apart.

I would say they only need a solid 2 months of heavy advertisements and plugs. They already have a large fan base watching and waiting.

I like that they are doing this but I have my doubts and it is the same doubts others have mentioned with Switch's capability to handle these kinds of games.

Pff last winter they said would be one of the worst and I kid you not, I don't even remember having more than 2 inches of snow on the ground more than 2 times and even then, it melted fast. This has been the coldest winter we have had here in a good 6 years and we have already seen more snow than last year, at least visually. Not sure about the measurements. So yeah they get things wrong a lot. As for the storm, it is passing over but we are only expected to get about 3 or 4 inches.

Was going to mention the above. Expect a late fall release on this one. I would estimate late November or early December. Very excited to see what comes of it. I love this man's work. Always have.

I just meant for this to be a discussion on the idea, not whether or not it can work. This is something that could easily work in most single player games to some extent. Thanks for the feedback and mixed views/ideas on it though. Also good call on siting Ghost Recon. I thought of that after I posted it to use an example of what I was talking about but never edited the OP.

Mine was okay I suppose. Nothing to write a novel on or anything. That video did make me laugh a bit. I remember seeing this back when Vine was still a thing. My buddy kept playing it over and over again when he was high. lol

I seen this brought up somewhere else and thought it was interesting. Do you think this kind of thing could work with RDR2? Like say you are playing as Arthur and your friend wants to join in, he will then become one of the other gang members who is working on a mission with you. If there is any solo running, that would naturally be dead waiting time for a second player but it could still be an interesting concept.

We been getting hit with some snow the last few weeks. Making me wish the game came out this year. Last few winters seemed mild and naturally the year I have to wait for a game to come out and have nothing else going on, I get dumped on.

This kind of stuff is all well and fun but for someone like me, it doesn't really add any hype. I am not one to go back just for the sake of trying to find something that may or may not even be there. The gun was great, I will give them that but hidden stuff that they don't announce? No thanks.

Same for me. I am generally excited for the game but for a specific thing, I can't say. The details of the game are stunning and the cut scenes look great but that is all we have right now.

Most of what we have spoken about is just ideas being thrown around really. They have not confirmed anything for online and we don't even know how the story mode will end up playing out either.

Unless you buy it, you can't use it in any sense where you could earn money with it. You could copy it and draw it freehand in your own way as a work around. I have done this but if you have no skills for that, it ends up looking crap.

Yeah that is the one. I wouldn't worry too much. It likely won't last long. Some people in the government are just being too cautious. I am sure something will be done where it is taken out of effect in 2018.

Group more than anything. I am sure I will play solo or with just one other person as well but it is always fun to play multiplayer servers that allow a good amount of people in a group. Easier to run your own area of the map and not have to worry about people being dbags.

I am all for spending time to earn things over spending money. I hate the idea of having to spend real money on a fake world. I have done it and I will make the mistake in the future, but it pisses me off either way. lol

The gym? Ehhh I tried that. Not for me. I like the feeling after I have done a workout. I just don't like the before, or during parts. lol I would not last in a gym. I went on a friend's free pass. So glad I didn't waste the money on a membership.

I think I need to actually get a plan going though. And Shawn man, get a new car. I seen a friend of mine drain thousands into his junker for 4 years. He could have just got himself a new car for a few more thousand.

With it being nearly Thanksgiving in the US, very unlikely we will see much else this year. I would be happy if they gave us a bit of a Christmas gift of sorts with maybe some screen shots of characters or something.

Villains tend to be painted a similar fashion in a lot of old west shows and movies. They tend to all have dark, thick, slicked back hair, sport a mustache, and are well into their age but not old. I see the resemblance in a lot of these guys. Part of the reason I love old west themed games, movies, and shows. Take Loveless as another example:

Exactly this. Why do we need cars or even want cars? GTA is cool for what it is and RDR is cool for what it is. I don't want to see both become the same game.

I have a savings account but I think I only got a few hundred in it. I am horrible at saving money unless there is something I want. I will save up for things but don't have a general backup plan or in case money.
