Are you going to keep that going on RDR2 then? I didn't actually have a gang or clan in the first one. Just played solo. Not sure if I will do it on RDR2 or not.

I am not interested in the public beta. I will wait until they get everything fine-tuned. In my experience, beta testing just leads to frustration for me.

Welcome Hatched. You dabble with RDR at all or will you be 100% fresh to this one? I know some GTA players will be migrating over to RDR2 without having played the first one.

How hard is it really to just allow us to swim anyway? Like maybe make it where you just tire out after a while or can't swim long in deep water. There would be so much you could do with allowing us access to water without a boat.

While I am curious to see some multiplayer action, I am sure you are right. We won't see anything about that till way late into the summer, possibly early fall even.

Was the Colt’s Dragoon Revolver in the last game? I don't remember it being in the game but I want it to make an appearance in this one.

Smoking nor vaping directly causes cancer, it just increases the odds of it happening. It is the breakdown and repetitiveness of the tissue creating new cells at a higher level that cause cancer. Smoking and vaping increase the turn over rate, thus increasing the risk. Bonfires, hairspray, working around bleach or other chemicals all do the same thing, some even more so than smoking. If you keep your immune system healthy and take care of yourself outside of this, your chances are slim. If you are a completely unhealthy idiot and abuse your body though, good luck.

Oh same for me man. I wouldn't buy a game full price but if it looked good enough, I would but it on sale and still play it even if the reviews were bad. Not to say this game will suck but even if it did, I would still absolutely enjoy the scenery and all the attention to detail in it.

The detailing of this game is gorgeous. I was one of the people who did complain a bit when they hit the delays but hell, this game is worth the wait just for looks alone. I hope to God it is as good as I think it will be but I have a feeling it will be better than even that. GG Rockstar. GG,

I remember being on a server with this group of what must have been 10 to 12-year-olds. Two of them were brothers, two were friends. They didn't have the voice change yet and they were talking about things with hookers that I refuse to type but I legitimately pulled my back laughing and my friend who was on with me at the time pissed himself. Not joking. I mean what parent in their right mind would let their kids play GTA let alone talk like that!? I didn't get any of that on RDR at all.

I never heard of anyone thinking this deep into the mechanics of money within a game like this. Sure, it will have transactions and what not but realistic to the times? Highly unlikely.

Why no to necessary? Anything they can do isn't technically necessary. I think a lot of people would have fun with that feature. Especially siblings, roommates, and the rare husband and wife/boyfriend and girlfriend gaming duo. Not everyone can afford more than one system under one roof.

June because of e3 or just in general? I think most games stick to a 3 months rule. They start gunning ads and what not 3 months prior to the release date. So this means late July is when we should expect more advertisements to be seen. Some say this is down to not overspending on commercials and ads.

Very few who I have talked to thought it would. It is two different games. GTA has "modern" appeal with cars and what not which a lot of the younger Rockstar fans enjoy. I didn't know many 9 to 15 year olds who played RDR. Most people seemed to be 19 to 35 years old.

Actually considering getting this. I will have to see how money pans out for me over the weekend. I honestly forgot about the game till I spotted this thread.

I never saw this myself. I watched the original video. The cartoon almost makes light of the situation. I know it is meant to be funny but what if that dude had a heart attack after this or crash his car because he was so angry? I just don't understand why people get a hard on from making people mad or upsetting them.

We will see what direction this goes soon enough. I know it had to be something they really had to take into consideration because of all the crap going on right now with video games. They have to keep people, especially kids, from breaking laws and abusing the system itself.

I think most people prefer this. The idea of a game trailer is to reveal enough to get you interested. Enough to make you want to buy the game without spoiling anything major in the story. As much as I want another trailer and more information, the trailers they gave us thus far have been really good.

When a gaming company issues a release date... not a release month or a release season, 99% of the time, the game comes out when they say. There have been delays of a week or two with other games so there is always a chance for it to happen but it is very, very unlikely.

He could easily play a big role in the game depending on what the story is actually about. As of now, no one really knows a whole lot. I am guessing he will be in the game but I am not sure if it will be a big role in the story or not.

Yeah parents are horrible for letting their kids play games they shouldn't. Do all kids in that age range need protection from violence in video games? I don't think so because some know the difference between reality and fiction but that is up to the parents to monitor and decide. Some kid with anger issues should never be allowed to play CoD, RDR, or any game with guns really.

I think Spring would have done fine though with all things considered. People are hyped for the game.

LOL Video games are already being targeted for influences violence on kids. This is not something that needs to be in the game nor will be. Sure, we will probably see a school or two but there will NOT be children in it unless it is for a cut scene.

End of the game for me as well. I want him to be in the game for sure but I want the focus to be on Arthur and his story. I feel like if John entered too soon then I would just honestly be focused on him and wanting to play as him. He was such a great character in RDR.

What I find the most interesting when it comes to guns and gun control is that the top 5 cities in the US that have the most gun-related killings also have the highest rated gun control. Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC, St. Louis, and New Orleans. Take those 5 cities from the statistics and the US goes from 3rd most killings via gun violence to 159th.
