I was thinking there was a bug here as well because it seems nearly impossible to get bigger and maintain it. Like they have to adjust something to make it work better.

Same here. I was on a few hours ago. Tried several times going on and offline to get on a new server but they were all bare, no wildlife at all. On one of them, my horse wouldn't even appear.

I must have missed this. Either John is playing himself (his intelligence) down quite a bit or this was a mistake the devs missed lol

I just wanna know what the common bugs are that a lot of people are experiencing. I know there is an update happening soon. Me and my buddy are planning on sending them lists of issues to see which will be addressed in this upcoming update. They may or may not respond, we will see.

There are few games I play more than once and even fewer I play 3 times. This will be the first game I intend to play 3 times through in many, many years. There is so much to see it is impossible to catch it all on one play through.

I wasn't able to get the gold. I got to frustrated with it and skipped out on it. I am sure there is a way to do it I just haven't figured it out.

They are working on Bully next and then likely another GTA game so if, which is a big fat IF, they decide to do another RDR, it will not be for at least 8 years+.

I had the same issue and did the same thing. Try this OP and report back. Sometimes it fixes the issue. Other times leaving the area and coming back can correct it.

Almost all games that allow cheat codes do not let you save with them because they can corrupt the save file. There is more lingo to it than this but I am no expert. Just ask a gaming dev, they will explain it for you.

It can't hurt to try but in the event you lose your progress, you have to be prepared for that. Might be worth finishing and then starting up the special edition.

My set up is basic. Right now I just have an ikea table and a bookshelf with a small table in the corner that holds my console. There is a TV I have on an old dresser. I am hoping to move this year and actually have a legit game space. It is just in the corner of a spare room right now that has storage in it.

I ran into a few level 90 somethings the other night and they were using this ammo against another group of players. The other group got completely blown back. If I see anything 91+, I just avoid them lol

Not everyone has had "major" issues with griefers. I have had some run-ins but I just leave the server, wait a few minutes, and hop back online. I am usually put in a new server and it is rare that I run into a new pack of these players. I have a feeling certain people are being targeted based on usernames and what they have on their character.

Make use of anything that blows up. Get good with those. When I used to play CoD, I sucked at shooting with most weapons but I got damn good at using grenades. I could easily get 15+ kills just using grenades in a single round.

Might be server updates in your area or refreshes. I know they do that from time to time but if you are already in a server, you don't notice it I don't think.

As everyone else says, Varmint takes the cake. Bows are fun but they don't have as much use. Plus the rifle is great for both hunting and PvP. The bow can be a bit tricky.

So you have the deluxe version on your console but will be downgrading it to the regular version? If I were you, I would just delete that then buy your own copy cause it might screw up the game through save files and what not.

I had to come and go to the area a few times because they were there but eventually they were. Make sure to try a few times OP just to be safe.

I used bait myself and had success but it took a long time. I think these cats have to be the hardest animal to work within the game. I struggled way less with the bears.

Gotta love how this trend has been trucking since the mid 80s. So many people want to get money out of people any way they see fit. My mother's friend who was a neighbor growing up was pulling on the fence while talking to my mom and the board snapped. She fell on her back and ended up needing surgery. She sued my parents because the fence wasn't stable enough for her to be pulling all her weight on it.

Can you explain where your game is crashing and what it is telling you? This is a fan forum not an official Rockstar forum. I know members say it all the time to new guys/gals and it is posted on the forum itself but I just want to clarify that so you know.

I usually just hop off and come back in a few minutes. I get on a new server and things are fine. I don't like to waste time feeding the trolls. lol
