Try leaving the pelt on the horse when you attempt to sell it rather than have it in your hands. I never had any problem in selling any of the legendary pelts to the trapper.
-
You just keep the maps. I seem to remember that the progress of each map is held within your log.
-
You "Sell" legendary pelts to the trapper. You can then buy the clothes that he crafts with them. You have to "Craft" the other items with the fence. It's not obvious to start with, but you soon get into the swing of things.

Question about "A Quiet Time" *spoiler*
Foxtrot replied to Trespasser's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
You can always replay the mission to fill in any gaps or to attain the gold medal for each mission. -
Hmm.. Slightly disappointing. I just went to nice of the ten rock carvings and noted down the coordinates of them as Arthur. On reaching the tenth, I'm standing right in front of it and Arthur doesn't see it. It looks as though you're forced to see the guy before you can take a note of the final one.

The trapper will need the pelt. The other items from the Legenday animal goes elsewhere. You'll figure it out as the game progresses as certain items/features/skills are unlocked as part of the story missions.

This is a really good question, so I'm going to try and do this to see what happens. Theoretically, you can also get the dino bones and cigarette cards without interacting with the key NPC. I spent some time yesterday restarting the game and getting to Overlook. When I next get some time, I'll hunt around for the rock carvings before getting to the guy who wants them. It'll take a few hours though - on previous playthroughs, I've wanted to level up and get some decent weapons before exploring.

My picks are * The Boys (Amazon Prime) * Star Trek: Discovery (Netflix) - Season 2 was better than Season 1, so work with it * Lost in Space (Netflix)

Stepping on Lego.

Yeah, you always spawn in a safe place. It wouldn't be too good if you saved a game and then immediately fell off a cliff when you loaded that save back. You pretty much never reload a game in exactly the same place as you saved it. And yes, when you get shot, you get money taken from you. Strangely, it's not all of your money. At least you don't lose all of your weapons and your horse.

Digital means as a download. Since you have a physical copy (i.e. disks), it looks as though you don't qualify for the Tresor De Morts treasure maps.
-
The information is right here on RDR2.org https://www.rdr2.org/guides/le-tresor-des-morts-treasure-hunt-guide/ The map should be in the jail, if you have the pre-order of the digital edition or the special/ultimate edition of the game.

Yeah, I agree. RDR campaign mode is easily the best I've ever seen in any game. In terms of value for money in that respect, it's astonishing, especially when campaign mode in the usual CoD type games last barely 15 hours.

Is this story (single player) or Online you're referring to?
-
Money isn't carried across from Arthur to John. However, you'll find that by the end of the main game, you won't need to worry about money at all. Arthur will have more than enough to suit his needs after a few treasure hunts/missions, as will John in the Epilogue (and beyond).

Yep. But I've never seen anyone solve this mystery. If someone had, it would be all over YouTube.
-
It'll be interesting to see if anyone figures out how to actually resolve this mystery in the game and pick up the reward.
-
Makes sense. I'm not sure if you're aware, but there's different sections on the forum for Story and Online modes, I've moved this one to the appropriate section.

That's odd. I just did both in the game - went into the stables and had the option to sell one of my horses that are stabled there. And then I camped out of town and had the ability to craft both kinds of snake oil. You're talking about "Collector Role". So you're playing Online? This might have different rules than Story mode.
-
You can make "Potent Snake Oil" with your Indian Tobacco as well as "Special Snake Oil". For selling horses, you can only sell your horses that are in the stables, so if you want to sell the one you're riding, you need to swap to another horse first and sell the other one when it's in a stall. Then you can buy your third horse. You can have three horses - two in the stable, and one that's under your butt.

Hmmm. Not sure, seems based on a fair bit of assumption. I just picked up the book mentioned in the video and there's no clues there.

There's three fresh graves above the main graveyard in Valentine offering a view of the bell. I shot the bell three times while standing on each in turn. I didn't notice anything happen at all. Maybe it's too subtle for me. Or I'm not there at the right time of day, or I'm after the main story.

Is it worth it to buy the game right now during 2019-2020?
Foxtrot replied to AndrewChar98's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
There's been rumours of a PC release, but nothing concrete as yet.
