Yeah, this one was a challenge. I found it spawning a few times north of Tumbleweed and faceplanted a few rocks chasing it across the countryside. I was so happy I got it, I saved a video. I spent many game nights riding along the road from the 'T' in "Gaptooth' to Rathskeller Fort and back again (this is the road with the railtrack next to it, not the more southern route). Note the time of day here : 6am. Good luck!

Hope you carry on enjoying the game. It's given me many hours of fun and relaxation. It's one of those few games that have more to offer the casual/offline gamer more than about 25 hours of gameplay.

The Warhorse is definitely available in the stables in Valentine. It's slightly misleading as you're not gifted the horse, so it's easy to miss. You have to buy the horse - although it's at zero cost. So when you get to the stables, look at the horses for sale and then buy the one that doesn't cost anything.

As far as I recall, the treasure maps won't disappear after the story has completed. You should be able to follow online guides to find each one available. Don't forget that you need to collect the treasure from one map before the next in the series appears.

Can we reacquire gunslinger weapons
Foxtrot replied to trosclairdm's question in Questions & Answers
You'll need to contact Rockstar for that (and this is not an official Rockstar forum). However, I highly doubt that this feature will change in any way. -
Yes, you don't see the symbol on the map until you discover the trapper in each location.
-
You should be able to go into the "100% Completion" part of the menus and work out what else you need to complete in order to get the full 100% Without knowing what's in your remaining 18%, it's kind of hard to help you out.

Can we reacquire gunslinger weapons
Foxtrot replied to trosclairdm's question in Questions & Answers
The gunslinger missions aren't replayable, so if you didn't pick up those rewards after each one, then you're out of luck for this playthrough. As a completionist myself, I'm pretty used to starting the whole game over. -
You don't need to track the birds, only "study" them. It's a heck of a lot easier when they're sitting on rocks and not flying. Binoculars scare birds, so use a scoped rifle for doing this.

In terms of playing through the story - no. I never ran into cases where I had to choose between one tonic or another based on the amount of their effect. I usually just picked a tonic for the core I wanted to augment and went with it and took another if it ran out (and is required). There are metrics on how quickly your cores drain over time according to various factors, but the game is very forgiving. Generally speaking, you're fine as long as you have edible (cooked) food and you keep an eye on your core levels and top them up when needed.

There are non-legendary fish of all 15 species - it really doesn't matter if you've caught legendary fish before you complete this challenge.

He's always been there. Once the trapper is unlocked, he will appear in all the locations. The one near Riggs Station is on top of the hill, so easily missed if you're not looking (or happen to climb the hill).

Try the ford to the north of beaver hollow. I found a few small birds including a robin sitting on the rocks by the side of the river. Use the varmint rifle with a scope - binoculars seem to scare off most birds before you get a chance to study them.

Go for it!

Yeah, but you used the exploit to get into New Austin as Arthur, didn't you?
-
Sounds like you could do with refreshing your cache.

Roger Clark does have a good sense of humour (from watching other videos with him in), so I wouldn't read too much into that. From what I recall, only John was able to complete the Dinosaur Lady thing and Arthur could complete the rock carvings by himself...

Well done. Youre going to enjoy Weapon Expert 7 when you get there...

I Can Smell the Dying Animal !! It stinks !!
Foxtrot replied to jnaron_ngc's topic in Red Dead Online
It's also possible that they're hard at work on something pretty awesome and want to get it right more than "right now". -
I just followed the YouTube examples on this one. I found three enemies, hog tied them, placed them in a row and threw knives into their heads. I didn't need to use dead-eye. Occasionally, a headshot with a knife won't kill, so I just kept throwing until they all stopped moving and the challenge pinged. DeadEye seems to negate some challenges, so I'd recommend the hogtie method for this one - but don't forget that these need to be enemies, not random strangers. I used the Mark Johnson bounty hunt for this one - if you let him say goodbye to his family, you'll get ambushed by three or four guys - they're pretty easy to wrangle and hog-tie. Or use an enemy camp/hideout.

Replay after Missions needs to be fixed
Foxtrot replied to [email protected]'s question in Questions & Answers
Mission replays intentionally gives you a reduced loadout and items. This is the way the game has been designed and isn't a bug. There's been a fair amount of disappointment about this, but it seems to be Rockstar's way of increasing the difficulty on replayed missions, -
On Xbox, I just share to OneDrive from the Xbox (or XBox App) and then download from OneDrive to my laptop and do whatever I want with it from there.

You complete all of the trapper challenges (horseman, herbalist, gambler, etc). This will result in you getting max stats. Its a lot of work, but not too difficult.
-
Well, you don't really need the predator bait to get the panther. You just need to be around at the spawn point at the right time. You don't need to worry about winter clothing if you're only going into the snow for a short period (your cores drain faster, but you just eat more frequently to top them up). Plants seem to take a long time to respawn, so learn to only pick them when you need them and try not to feed them to your horse if you can help it. You don't really have to do a lot of the stuff in the game that it leads you to believe.

Best sound setting for in game dialogue and sounds
Foxtrot replied to 0G6's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
I think you'll need to look at the sound settings on your console to make sure that the speakers are set to be the TV speakers and not a surround sound system. It's possible that the console or your TV thinks that there's more speakers than there actually are. Spending a few minutes playing with the settings in the PS4 and TV should sort this out.
