  1. Nope, no idea. Maybe it doesn't fit in John's world.
  2. I think this has been raised before. Dog were used like this in one of the Fallout games and in one of the CoD titles (if memory serves). If the game mechanic isn;t already in the game, ir would most probably take a lot of work to get it in there , and for cut scenes/scripted missions to introduce and include the use of dogs. Since the game has been out for a long time now, I doubt that many players would got back to this, and I doubt that Rockstar would spend the money in developing/scripting/acting these additions. Cool idea though.
  3. You don't have to use potent predator bait, ordinary predator bait will work just fine for this - you won't really need any perfect pelts for this challenge. Just keep an eye on the wind direction and what direction your own scent moves.
  4. That's about it. The rest of the interpretation is down to you. As far as I recall, you don't get access to the inside of that house again after you leave it, so whatever you need to do inside the house, do it then.
  5. You can sell them to the trapper, who will be able to make outfits out of them. Or sell them to Pearson if those pelts will help make one of the satchels.
  6. The herbalist and gambler challenges will keep you busy a while.
  7. Heavy rifle round to the head, ride off to the next gator. Not exactly a taxing challenge.
  8. Horseman 9 - Kill 9 predators from horseback. It's easier with gators.
  9. Ride faster, don't turn tight bends. Try to do this near the Heartlands where you can drag someone over the plains. It's ok if they die, it works with a corpse as well. It did with me anyway.
  10. There's plenty of compendium guides out there. One is: https://www.powerpyx.com/red-dead-redemption-2-full-compendium/
  11. I never really noticed a difference between the horse breeds. But then again, I used the same horse pretty much throughout the story. Maxing out the bonding does help, as well as reassurance at stressful times. Pay attention to your horse's stamina, make sure it's fed and cleaned regularly. A hungry and mangey horse isn't a happy horse.
  12. Hunter bow? I don't recall seeing mention of a hunter bow. What challenge are you referring to here?
  13. It's a long game, so "midway" could mean anything. Can you be more specific? What camp are you at, and what was your last story mission?
  14. From what I gather, the severe form of Coronavirus affects about 14% of people it infects. Even though the risk for healthy people is low, we still want to prevent any chance of the 14% people being infected, so we all need to be careful about personal hygiene and getting close to others to help protect the vulnerable.
  15. Yeah, my partner used to enjoy watching me play the game, because most of it involved riding through breathtaking scenery, something I did a lot of when I was hunting for specific pelts. After a while, I only targetted three star animals for the pelts I wanted, so the bloodshed was kept to a minimum. At some point, I'll start another playthrough and enjoy it all over again.
  16. Have you tried going to the Sherrif's office as the guide suggests and just carrying on? If you don't get the expected outcome at the Sherrif's office, I'd suggest doing something else and coming back to this in a couple of game days and see if anything in the game cache has been cleared.
  17. This thread is usless without an DRD2 screenshot. I believe you, but it would be pretty nice to see it.
  18. The gameplay should progress from here. If you've not done already, I'd simply restart from the last saved point or start the game over. I've not seen reports of the game sticking here. It's possible there might be a network issue here - the game might want a constant internet connection to sync your progress to the cloud - I'm not sure it would be happy being offline.
  19. I remember having some problems finding moose as well. I remember spotting some across O'Creagh's run - I watched a herd of them literally walk into the mountainside and disappear.
  20. I don't mind the animation at all. For me, RDR2 has always been a relaxing game with the odd moment of terror and fury. I'm perfectly ok with these pastoral moments of calmness.
  21. I only really use Twitter as an agregator for news and articles from accounts I'm interested in. I browse Facebook occasionally, but it's mostly people bragging about how shallow they are. I have to admit a mild addiction to wood-turning videos.
  22. Losing your money is story-related. It's possible to get around it, but I simply went with the story as scripted. You can also defer some treasure hunts if you want to make sure you have ready cash later in the story.
  23. Yeah, I wasn't too blown away by the RDR2 HDR when I moved to my C8. I find what you say here particularly funny as my old Samsung had an optional external processor that kind of faked HDR on a non-HDR panel.
  24. I saw that yesterday. Seems odd, but you can kind of understand that Apple wants to be seen as an ethical company. Phrases you'll never hear: Hey Siri, do you want to play Global Thermonuclear War? Hey Siri, what time do the explosives on the gas plant trigger? Hey Siri, open the pod bay doors. Hey Siri, give me directions to Alderaan.
