"For All Mankind" on Apple TV was good, I enjoyed that. Looking forward to the season 2 of Altered Carbon, which starts tomorrow on Netflix. And Ragnarok. I'm enjoying this as well. Slightly off-kilter, but nice for not being American.

Black coffee (espresso after a meal if I'm eating out), tea with milk. I don't hold with the flowery/herby teas.

Yeah, you'll see this mentioned in the guides. I still need to be mauled by another 10 or so bears before I get that other one. I missed out on a lot of gold stars for the missions, so I'm not sure I'll chase that one down (some of those requirements are challening). For the missions, I'd probably replay story mode and gear up as much as possible before each mission and save the game before each one. Replaying missions gives you s pretty basic loadout which makes gameplay more challenging - I'd prefer getting all the help I could.
-
No you don't. The Guarma specific animals don't count toward and achievments. You can grab them if you want to replay the game again, but you need not. You can obtain both those achievements by playing after the epilogue. Congrats on the 100% completion though, it's a good feeling to get that squared away.

The money doesn't really matter. By a certain point, you have more money than there is stuff to spend it on and it simply stops being an issue. There's no real need to use the Aberdeen exploit unless you especially want to get deep in the story.

Who else thinks weapon management is awful?
Foxtrot replied to MyNameIsDutch's question in Questions & Answers
It isn't great, but I just shrugged it off and got on with the game. I didn't particularly like the constant cycling through rifles to get to the one I wanted or the number of button presses to get there. But the good thing is that game time almost halts while you're choosing weapons, so I didn't lose out on anything through my fumble fingers. -
I used the same horse for everything. I didn't really notice much different between the different kinds apart from looking a bit different to each other.

Why didn't they go back and bury Jake Adler?

It's something I never checked up on. Is he still in the cart after that scripted story mission? -
I don't play online because I get shot at by twelve-year olds who are faster and fiercer than I am.

From what I recall, these three items are permanent increases to these three abilities. So when you find Valerian root, just drink it. However, this increase only extends so far, after which you'll get a message something like "You're already at maximum Dead Eye, drinking this will have no effect".

After a certain point, money becomes irrelevant - you can obtain enough to buy anything and still have more left over.

@Kean_1 I'm pretty sure that Harry is one of the few people playing solo campaign.

I've caught all the fish I need to from the shore - there's only a couple of missions where you're using a boat.

It says at the bottom of the web page that this isn’t an official Rockstar community. As far as I know, no one from rockstar has posted here.

This is true. When prepared for this challenge, it's really quite straightforward (the right type of arrow helps as you're not concerned with the quality of the pelt). It's getting attacked by a cougar when you're riding someplace else that scares you from time to time.
-
Yes, the boat would sink there - it's like trying to row across Lake Ontario in a row-boat. The map only extends so far, so I guess the game will simply kill you if you row too far from shore. You also can't get to the far shore if you row Eastward from St Annesburg.

There's usually a prompt for the first time you do things during the tutorial-style early story missions, but it's easy just to do as you're told and forget about them afterwards because you're so caught up in the story. Basically, it's the same "mount" mechanism for horses, wagons, and boats. After a while it becomes second nature.
-
Mount it like a horse - use the same button/key as mounting a nearby horse. That should do it.

A lot of the regular participants here lead by example in being both polite and helpful to other users. This is a huge help in keeping forums as respectful as possible and limits problems. A good forum is marked by how little work the moderators have to do. A lot of the time, if established users habitually act like jackasses, then new members also think it's ok to act like jackasses and you end up with a forum that isn't friendly to anyone who isn't a jackass.

Yes, you can drive a train in single-player mode. Doing this is the easiest way of getting the Sharpshooter 3 challenge (shoot 5 flying birds from a moving train).

Depends how you feel, I guess. There's one trophy for giving $250 to the camp. Apart from that, you only really need to buy enough upgrades to give Pearson the ability to craft satchels for you and then give him the perfect pelts to do so. If you don't contribute any money or supplies to the camp, the other camp members might grumble a bit more, but it won't change anything in terms of story or anything else affecting game progression. I seem to recall that giving to camp can increase your honor rating, so that might be a reason, but I sure wouldn't waste too much time dragging animal corpses back to camp.

Master Hunter 5 - Kill 5 cougars with a bow and arrow. Cougars are nasty, you'll enjoy that one.
-
The boat should be found at the jetty at Clemens Point (Chapter 3). I don't think I ever used a boat outside of any story missions. There are some useful animals on the islands offshore from the camp, but you can easily ride your horse across and retain your choice of weapons.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Tips For Beginners
Foxtrot replied to NewsBot's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
Yeah, I remember those times. Especially waiting for ages only to find a sub-standard animal and having to start over. But yes, I got pounced on and eaten plenty of times before I finally got a perfect panther pelt.
