  1. There's a double cougar spawn right outside of Tumbleweed. Every 5 minutes is $40, good spot if you want some quick cash. Plus pigs everywhere and pronghorn I believe. Very close to the only butcher in the area too. Just be careful on the second cougar spawn as it sometimes literally will spawn right next to you like it did me a few times lol (got startled and shot it several times ruining it).
  2. Update: I'm rank 110 now. Yay. Rank 114 now actually. Keep ranking fast even though I'm not trying to anymore.
  3. It's the spoonbill that gives the most (X10 feathers being like $15-18), heron being a close second.
  4. I'm pretty sure it's because upon logging out he packs up your camp releasing the spot so it can be used. When you log back in he has to set it up again. And not always in the same spot if someone in that session is using it. So that's part of why it moves sometimes upon logging in.
  5. If you're a boss, hunt cougars. When I was a wee baby rank, I would hunt the cougar at night outside of blackwater. Go turn in, 3-4 minutes later, another spawns. All together, one perfect cougar is $20. So that's $20 every 4 minutes. There's two cougar spawns outside of tumbleweed as well so take $40 every 5 minutes. But blackwater was my favorite as I could get bucks and pronghorn, wolves too and the occasional grizzly if I could spot it first. Also the birds, heron, spoonbill, owls, cranes and pelicans outside of St Denis sell for killer prices. 10 of the heron feathers sell for $15, $18 for the spoonbill. Also the small gator bodies sell for $6.50, skin for $3. Plus you can keep killing the small ones and stack up. There's also bucks there too. I make $150 on a good day within 10-15 minutes, averaging about $75. That's all I can think of off the top of my head while I'm at work. I'll post later if I remember more.
  6. I'd rather ride through gator infested waters than go into a busy town with a horseload of goodies (which I have many times). I almost never take direct routes if there's even one person too close to the butcher. I've familiarized myself with the ins and outs of saint denis and most of the map minus tumbleweed area cuz I am hardly there. I go through alleyways, hop fences, go through rivers/lakes, anything to avoid losing my stuff. Hell I'll even have my horse wait somewhere hidden while I go "scope out" the butcher area.
  7. Or play some different damn songs. Also +1 to having the option to spawn in your camp, cuz all too often I spawn in to the middle of a warzone. Or a couple of times I've spawned next to a gator and got nommed. As soon as I log in I gotta be prepared for the fact that everything wants to kill me T_T. Also again +1 to cripps defending your camp. He already kinda does it, but it's hard to tell when he will. It's mostly when someone shot at or near him. He doesn't budge if you're getting shot at. Also for the love of god, please take away that effect where you slow down to a trot when running near a camp. Too often I'm chasing or being chased and because I couldn't even see the camp fast enough, run by it and get slowed down causing me to die or lose my quarry.
  8. It's not that hard to rank up, especially if you run in a posse. Strength in numbers and all. To be fair I see levels 20-40 griefing more often than high ranks. Often I will see high levels acting as mercs for their lower ranked friends. Also people's perception of griefing differ and vary widely. So far I've only been griefed by one high rank, some coming from 60-90 lately. But it's the lower ranks that get cocky and start sh*t.
  9. Everyone in the posse had him blocked, so it wasn't a case of someone not having him blocked. I would like to hope he won't be matched with me or anyone who blocked him again, but they seriously need to change that option and I sent in a suggestion/ticket about that too. That is some next level stalker creepy BS right there. Thing was, we didn't even kill him. He thought we killed him and he ran up to us and killed us and of course we popped him back, then went about our way, or tried to.
  10. Just a fair warning, even blocking them they can still follow you from session to session from the recent players menu. Someone did this to me last night through 5 session changes. He only stopped going after me after I brought him to a friend who's as persistent as him and he kept killing him until he left finally. Why is that even a thing? That you can join someone's session even though they aren't a friend?
  11. It could happen, at any time. People can hold out their entire lives.
  12. Part of it is not letting people know that we are vicious.
  13. I'll do a lot of that to my friends but not randoms unless they asking for trouble. I did hogtie a friend and set up 16 dynamite around his body then wanted for him to come back from afk to set it off. Or one of my friends was sniping us for fun on a cliff edge and I snuck up behind him and pushed him and myself off. One of my friends IGN is Insanity, and she lives up to the name. Women are vicious man...
  14. Well I noticed when I actually bother to speak they sometimes get upset cuz they realize I'm a woman or in some cases they think I'm a kid. Burns them up a bit. Their salt feeds me.
  15. I don't know. But I feel that upon loading on to a map we should be invulnerable for like 30s/until we move. Like give us a chance to get our bearings...
  16. You can also toss dynamite/fire bottles if you have them. Dynamite arrows, any spread damage (shotgun). Or yeah like they said wait it out. If you're lucky enough to get close enough to tackle them or rope them, there's that too.
  17. It's not a glitch, just people being shitty.
  18. I think it's funny when someone decides to do that and their whole mini map lights up red cuz that person they shot was in a 7man posse then they get mowed down and deeply regret their actions...
  19. I'm much the same way. Although I have mocked some people that tried to insult me. But I'm fairly diplomatic. I had one guy try to take a hideout from me so I rushed the leader and finished it. He still tried to shoot me afterwards. I went into game chat and just said "bruh, it's over, please stop". And surprisingly he did stop and went about his way. I sometimes will go into game chat to warn someone or just reassure them I'm friendly. But I never trade insults. Buuuuut, I did add a dash of salt once when I said "how's it feel to be stomped by a girl?" to someone who was really trying super hard to mess with me. Only time he got me was when he rushed me with dead eye and the semi shotgun.
  20. I'd go for a mild 'parkour' obstacle course race event. Myself and my friends were hopping all over St Denis the other day and I was showing them various ways to get up to things. Or like it story mode, that npc that challenges you to a shooting contest. A shooting gallery basically. Like hitting flying targets with different gun/weapon types. Or something like in The Evil Within 2?
  21. I don't really see it as griefing. Now it would be if the person kept killing even after finishing the mission. I mean all missions invite other players to mess with it, it gives anyone nearby a notification about it and what they have to do to take it. Would that be griefing as well? It's not griefing if it's a core mechanic of the game. As for your question about gold, it's gold bars and it shows up next your cash automatically.
  22. I have been chased from Valentine to Lagras by a griefer. Knew he was following me to mess with me because I got off the road and ran up a mountain and across 2 large rivers and he was taking the exact same path. So I veered off to my camp (I was a lowbie at the time, so didn't have much in the way of defending myself) and when I got there he dashed up and tried to shoot me. Then tried to take my horse (had the settings set to me only) and when he couldn't take it tried to shoot it. I got on the game chat and just said "nice try retard". And he cussed me out and then rode away. I'm sure proximity will at least be within range enough to defend yourself, not like right on top of you or within easy auto aim range.
  23. Rockstar is like Dutch. They have a plan, it's a good one, but they'll never tell you until the last minute.
  24. I'm not so sure he was a griefer. He might have been a low rank and still learning what they can do in the game. Or accidentally shot once and was like oh hey cool i can shoot like that and tries again. I mean if he chased you then maybe. But I've had some lowbies test out what they can do on me and I humor them sometimes. Like one rank 11 wanted to fist fight me at the butcher. So I didn't use a gun, just let her get some licks in and then knocked her out. She didn't try again with me though and I didn't bother her either.
  25. D-did you not know about that....?
