I still think to tell the time you should need a watch, otherwise there's no way in those times. Best means would be judging it from the sun...but that should be up to the player not the game to inform you. Would add way more realism. Although I don't check the time, I just make sure I'm back at camp by sunset normally.

You can surrender yourself to them apparently. I've not tried it yet though but someone here told me that.

Yeah makes sense I guess, but I've still got it on PS3. I'm not sure I'd wanna plunge more cash into a game which did look good anyways.

I helped a poor dude on his way back to Strawberry but accidentally trampled him while avoiding being in the path of a stagecoach, I felt like an idiot haha!

That's pretty neat, although yeah you clearly were somewhat of a douchebag killing all the horses haha! I've not played the original in a good 6 years I'd say. Maybe more actually. Still got my PS3 too though, it's an awesome dust collector these days. When I built my PC with a 980Ti and then got myself a laptop last year with a 1060 I just resided that the PS3 was buried now. But I got the PS4 at the start of this month so chances are I might jump back and forth when it comes to playing some prequels.

I wouldn't say there's a 'better' option in all truth. I mean, they're not the same, they're very different even if it's made from the same beast. I think it comes down to what you're wanting 'on the day' rather than 'this beats this' argument. I'm aware that's not entirely what you were asking but it's like choosing between pizza and calzone, they're all essentially the same ingredients, but entirely different forms, and it just depends on your mood I find.

This is how I scramble them but I use the microwave, cause I've an electric cooker, so doesn't quite have the same effect as a burner annoyingly.

@gamerfan1010 you've got 3 topics now, "autosave/manual save/no autosave" I'm sure it could have been dealt with in 1 thread my dude. In truth the autosave feature is golden for me, I NEVER save anything, I always forgot. I now make a point when I complete whatever I'm doing I go back to Horseshoe Overlook and go to bed, then sleep and save when I wake up.

That's all there is too it, plus the more you make something the faster it becomes, not the cooking it but the prepping of it, or at least getting the ingredients cause usually when I'm getting groceries I'm unsure of I take forever in the store haha.

You don't need classes, just find something you want, get some recipe's, see what suits you most, and go for it. The tweak as required. My issue is I've thousands of recipe's in my head and I've reached burn out the past 6 months where it's just easier to get some sh*t for 1 and throw it in the microwave for 10 minutes. I gotta get my motivation back.

Oh some of the practises you see are terrifying, totally. I was always a rule follower, no raw/cooked together, washing constantly, no cross contaminants in the event of food allergens/vegans etc etc. I always treated my handling of food in a means which I'd be happy with someone else handling mines. Sadly, not everyone has the same ethos.

I used to be a cook in a hotel kitchen, so I know some sh*t, I've seen things maaaann.

Without reading the spoiler I've done the same. Only on Chapter 2 and racked up hours of gameplay. I'm still broke (feels like real life sometimes haha!) but I'm helping around the camp everyday, hunting for food, chopping wood, carrying the sacks, collecting bounties etc. Dunno, I just feel doing this I'll get more from the game down the road, hell, I might get to the finale and 100% on that rather than backtracking and doing all the laborious side quests after the main story line. I've always just done things like that.

I think the horse needs a vet in fairness, badly!
