actually I am through the epilogue. I saved this and Obediah to do last. I just did the final one, mailed everything, but as I said in my log it still shows it but everything is checked including mailed all carcasses or whatever it says. So, I dunno. when I did the last two requests, on the second to last I was looking for a robin, while I was out I bagged a blue jay and others too and just saved them, so when the next request came up, I already had 2 or 3 of them, and only needed to get 1 or 2 more, when I did, I mailed them and since then I have not gotten anything, no letter or invitation. I got paid, $120 I think if I remember correctly, but that is it. I want that invite. I thought someone else had hinted that if you already had something in your inventory when you got the request that it could somehow glitch and not give you the invite, but I cant quite remember, do you know anything about that?

Good exaples and well said, these are strategies we will be in part incorporating.

The only mic's we as a group plan to use are within our posse to eachother, maybe occasionally talk to a player who is being hassled to see if they need/want our help for example, or to let them know, we are here on yous side. For this experiment we arent goign to engage in mic chat with griefers, name calling, challenging, cussing, etc.. not part of what we are doing. So, the mic will be very helpful for our group members, but arent required as we use discord to communicate on and off game, you can have your discord open while in game and chat in there even, so we are working out ways and experimenting to see what works best for what we want to do. Some trolls will welcome a fight, others will run from it, we will have to see how it plays out, and develop a technique as we gain experience in what we are doing as a group.

To answer your question, there are many ways, you can observe them for a while, you can ask them, lol sometimes you might not know, and if I see a red blip not bothering anyone, no we arent going to target them, no reason too, I have been red as a result of defending myself so I get it, there will be a learning curve and things we need to work out for sure, the last thing we want to do is become griefers so your question is one we dont take lightly. It is an experiment (we formed a group) and we are going to try it, there are plenty of instances where it is obvious and we will start there. In other words, friends could be on and killing eachother in good fun, making them red, obviously we arent going to worry about them or get involved, also there are RP and Milsim groups that also do this, and we dont want to bother them, we will try to do our best to ID the players that are toxic, and deserve the be hunted, if we can.

You know your in if you want to be right? lol the Sombrero thing was just an idea, we havent made any decisions about anything yet as I want to get the group all together then put it to a vote or take suggestions, I want everyone to be part of the decisions, so... its just my idea on it I think its a great look, I love it and I think if everyone wore the same type of hat and poncho, those that see us coming can see even by silhouette that we are an organized group, but I didnt want to require a specific uniform, sometimes people dont like it and then you have issues, I figured this way, its just a hat and poncho, everyone can get one, any color combo they want, and use it when we are together, dont wear if you want otherwise, it is like your poor mans vigilante uniform, lol. But again, once we get up to 7 we will put it to a vote and take suggestions and see where we land on it. Anyway if you want to join us, Ill send you a discord invite and you are in.

Sorry man, I am on xbox but there are similar groups for ps4, I think Arthur's angles is a similar thing, they are on here, you can find them in I think posse recruitment, best of luck to you. LOL nice, well we do want to have an actual group, so we can at times coordinate, work together, use a flanking maneuver etc... Everyone in the group is equal and it is just like if a group of citizens got fed up with it and decided to create a militia of sorts and become vigilantes sort of. We want to target griefers and glitchers. If you want to be part of our experiment Ill add you and we can work on getting up to 7 members then set out and try this. Im thinking the only uniform will be any poncho you want and a Strung Sombrero, otherwise wear what you want. So when we work together we have a similar look.

And right now it is just the three of us, so we are going to take the next few weeks to build it into something cool. Glad to have you aboard if you are down with what we are hoping to do. I am in another group, a milsim and for my money it is too hectic, chaotic, at times, toxic even, it is hard to deal with 70 teenagers lol, so this will be the opposite of that.

Lately things have gotten better, but no matter what your opinion is people that target you for no real reason are a pain in the butt, how you chose to deal with them is completely up to you. We all have adopted strategies that allow us to co-exist. Lately I dont take any chances, even if that means raising my hostility level by shooting first, BUT I only shoot first after fair warning or when it is clearly obvious they intend to mess with me. So, the guy who came by with his lasso out obviously didnt understand that in defensive mode that isnt going to work, probably no need to shoot hiim, but.. I did tell him, that isnt going to work man, learn the game before you just start shooting, then if he persists in anyway I just shoot him. I have seen 100% decline in this type of activity lately. It still happens, but if you are prepared for the worst, you alwasy have the upper hand, I keep my ammo and guns ready to go at all times, If I am hunting I keep one slot to my lancaster with exploding ammo and the other on my Springfield, or sometimes a bow with dyna arrows, it doesnt take much to discourage a try hard with no clue, thankfully I dont see too many skilled quality players griefing, mostly newer players beginning to learn the game. Ive been so bored lately that I decided to start an anti griefing group, we plan to form a group of one or two 7 man posse's then patrol, the red blip patrol, if you are a red blip, we are coming for you, not necessarily to kill you but we are going to decide when we find you. If your red for defending or shooting first at someone who was going to mess with you then you are good to go with us, but if you are red and attacking blue players, it's on. 7 guys in two groups from three sides with heavy ammo are going to descend on you and it wont be pretty for you. I just feel like hey I am bored stiff, the only worth while activity I can see is to hunt the hunters the players who enjoy harassing others and killing players in defensive mode, this is giving the game all new possibilities and meaning. A patrol of players who have been griefed and came together to keep others from the same fate. To me it is time well spent. I started doing this myself and decided this would be great with a few friends, better yet a second posse of 7 so even if half of the guys couldnt get n, we still have 5 to 7 players working together, and that is tough to stop or prevent, I dont care who you are. I think it gives both sides some entertainment, lets face it most griefers just want to have some fun gun fights, so lets give it to them,

So, I now this is an older post, BUT I have finished all the hunting requests and I am not getting a letter or invitation to go to the lady's house, what am I missing? The final requests shows up in my log, all boxes are checked including "mailed all carcasses" so I dont know what I am missing here. Any thoughts?

We are going to give this a trial run to see .)1 who might be interested and see if there are people who want to do this and .)2 what ideas we can put together for it as a group. So my thought was start with 1 persistent posse of 7, unless of course we have enough players to form 2, 7 man posse's. We would then work as a group or whoever was on at the same time, and do patrols, if we find a situation where newer players are being harassed we form a quick plan of attack and come in gunz blazing and protect them, wipe out the griefiing squad or individual. We set up a temp for now discord so we can chat and figure stuff out outside of the game, it is free and easy to use, this way we have a central meeting place. In game we arent goign to claim territory and get bogged down with defending turf, our turf is the entire map. We will decide everything we do as a group, so for that reason we want to recruit like minded people who think this would be fun. If you have any interest in an xbox group like this let me know, Im trying to get a feel for if there is any interest at all or not, then we will go from there. No ranks, no strict rules, possibly partial uniforms, but nothing too serious, just something to show we are together, probably the same hats and shirts, or ponchos, but again, we are just brainstorming. Most of all it needs to be light and fun, and positive, we want to make a positive impact on the game we love. All levels are welcomed however it woudl be nice to get as many higher level players as we can for obvious reasons, I am level 148 currently, my partner in this is level 32.

Well I was just guessing. I did grab gears 4 looks ok, borderlands looks pretty neat, and metro something I forget the newest one, looks pretty good too, fallout 76 looked good in a preview but I think it is multiplayer only? So I was going to try fallout 4 the previous one but still made for xbox one. I was just hoping to hear folks say, yeah gears 3 is good or Halo you need to play this one first, etc.. Like I wanted to give Halo a shot but Im lost, I dont know how to effectively control the others in the group, and I forget but a few other things I was just lost, had no idea what to do. But it is all good. Ive got some games to mess with and thats all I wanted, I just hoped for more inside info from people who have played all these and others.

You put this in the rdr2 side, you might get more answers from the "online" section, but to answer your question, yes they repeat, over and over again, each mission giver has 3 to 5 maybe more I dunno missions available to them to give to you, and they will repeat these over and over again.

Thanks, I actually found two, after a hard core search, lol. Found them by the way west of Annesberg near the river, sitting on a rock, this was the only time I ever saw one, and as I said I saw two in time, both on top of a rock, but I did find one eventually so... Thanks for your info, it was getting super frustrating feeling like maybe there just isnt one, I mean I was looking and pretty determined, but eventually I did find one.

Although it isnt R* I did see a popular video channel reference these boards a while back while making a point, meaning enough people are aware of this site and these boards that they do take notice, I have to assume R* has people that monitor boards at times.

Well if this happened to me, I would do a hard restart to my console, and try again, usually when it gets buggy it is the console, not always BUT this isnt a widespread issue for players right now so I am inclined to think maybe it can be resolved with a memory dump, give it a try. Are you on xbox or ps4?

Change your saddle bags to large upgraded bags for 5 outfits, although they still dont save well, you can save 3 and the 4th will be the custom one, as long as you dont change anything on any other outfit it will stay til you log off, usually. I have 4 on my horse, and I want 5, Rockstar told me they are working on it so....

I did actually finally just see one, I went for my gun and accidentally hit "camp" Ever seen a grown man cry? lol I was about to. I now know it is possible to get one, that is all I wanted, I will find another and get it, I was starting to lose it man, I mean in all this time to never see one was making me nuts. thanks for your advice, the one I found wasnt far from that spot actually, a few clicks south. just north of the Elysian pool and almost across from the dino bone on the map if you got that one already. I spotted one!!! OMG I actually saw one!!

Has anyone actually located, shot and mailed a perfect Robin for the hunting challenge #3? I have looked at all the spots they are supposed to be, around Brathwaite, south west of Valentine, west of Annesburg, etc... Ive never seen one!! I have got the Oriole, woodpeckers, even a blue jay, but never, not ever a robin, I pretty much gave up. Now that online is in limbo and I dont have anything to do I figured I would go back and try to 100% my single player game, first thing I plan to do is complete the hunting challenges. I am stuck on this Robin. If you have actually got one, can you please tell me where and when you got it, ie time of day, weather, location, weapon, etc.. I cant find one and it is super discouraging. I put in hours and hours by the way, I'm not lazy, not going to the boards without trying, I have done everything I can think of, and I am giving up, I need help with this one. I am 95.7% done. It would be nice to get this part done, I want that prize and cut scene, then the combat challenges and bandit challenges but that is another story.
