Yes. Same thing. The things you need for daily challenges seem to disappear the day they are challenge. Last couple of mobile games I played did the same thing. You spend more time, resources for little reward on daily challenge. MCOC, a few years back, was real $ for daily challenge @ the time seemed worse than this If I fall into them fine but I'm not grinding for them.

Yeah it's kinda of a toss up between explosive Express and explosive slugs in my book. Both are RDO$ cash grabs but Anti griefers primary use. I don't use them PVP, save them for times of need. Explosive Express seems best for 1 shot/1 kill medium/long distance shots, whereas I kinda like explosive slugs for up close fighting. I kinda stink at free aim/slippery bastard so shotgun/explosive slug is my go to in free aim situations/close up fighting griefers where I am outnumbered Dynamite arrows probably best damage but I kinda of always miss the target, especially if it's moving. Could add that some of the tier 3 passive probably best things you can buy but still don't think they all stack or work right sometimes, plus the cost I haven't mastered the free aim stuff yet and I don't know just always preferred a shotgun.

Works for me too and is also best thing I ever bought, although explosive Express is a really close second, dynamite arrows 3rd? You have to read the pamphlets and then it should show up under ammo crafting. If you have and still doesn't show up contact support

Yeah the Up in Smoke ain't that bad... it's Spoils of War rehashed. But It's not great....the original C&C movie was way better. Payouts seem to be $15 for a win and $6 to 9 for a loss, the XP don't look so great. So it's like $10 minutes, $10 min. I haven't got MVP, especially when it's me and 3 guys up against 8 lvl 150 guys.. Game is buggy today, I got attacked by the O'driscolls when I finally got back into camp , never had that happen. ( Just want a Time out to use to bathroom) ...and blue dots are shooting me and jumping servers. New day. Same story I too am waiting for the big spring update

You know it's funny you say that because last night I hit a guy in the head 3 times with the bolt/express ammo, then switched to shotgun and hit him 4 more times b4 he turned from his other Target and still shot me. (And he wasn't even the one wearing the armor). I thought I was fighting the Terminator. But then right after I hit a deer 2x in the head, once in the back and it still ran away. It's just hard to determine who's doing something funny or if it's just more R* beta bugs I just turn the game off when stuff like this happens On the ghosting issue, I haven't seen them on PS4 for a while now, so I think they patched that on PS4 at least

Yeah I'm sorry, I get it now... By hiding the rank it just confused me, I thought they were taking advantage of some glitch or something, and have no idea why these guys/gals getting targeted for kick in first place Simply stated, whole kick system makes no sense I don't, won't vote to kick anyone, never even pushed the button on it ...and no point in kicking me, I'll probably lose anyway

I really don't know the answer to the no rank thing I've never voted to kick anyone and just look at other players to see if I'm up against a wall of high level players or they're on my side. I don't have a headset/mic anymore because it broke and too many people talking trash to my kid over at overwatch, so I don't know what is being said.

Yeah I don't know the exact level but I hit some rank and it offered me a larger saddle bag. I was all excited about potential increase in capacity, and probably payed some outrageous amount of RDO$, but as OP mentioned it seem to just allow me to go from 3 outfits to 5 stored on the horse. Items seemed to be capped at 10 for most and 20 for mature venison, 8 for the good arrows. New saddle just improves core rates and even then I can't find one that really would make a big difference

Almost every session of showdown series I join nowadays has one player who has a blank rank , just a silver badge with no level, and more often than not they get votes to be kicked, but not enough Are they exploiters, modders, or hackers (whatever you want to call them)? At first I thought they were noobs but they seem too well dressed. Just curious if I should be looking to kick them too and another exploit R* isn't addressing

Pamphlets are way overpriced for what you get. I blew all my gold (earned not purchased) on explosive slugs, their just okay. Remember that allot of them have ingredients you need to find and not sell. Split point was a waste of money because Express or High Velocity loads are way better and the way to go

Just play an hour or so of some showdown series or free room a day. Back when free room was 32 players a win netted me like $60 and 2800 XP with 20% bonus, plus the XP for headshot, special ammo before match starts. Now it's somewhere around $30 and 500-750 XP tops, around $15/250 XP for 2nd or 3rd MVP in showdown small is around the same, depends on your score as compared to the rest of the field. Even a loss on showdown/free room I believe is like 100 to 150 XP every 10 minutes plus headshot/special ammo XP As others have said the horse races pay squat, gun rush pays pretty good too.

Showdown series small is what I was playing last night. It was pretty much rotating through name your weapons teams. Spoils of war, spoils of war repeat and then throwing knives I didn't see any other games in the rotation from about 9 pm est to 11 pm

Spoils of war is now in the rotation with the other showdown series. It's pretty frequent but still There goes guaranteed $10 to $15 every 10 minutes. IDK what the horse races pay out , I haven't tried them

Lvl 81, going on 82 Playing 2-4 hrs daily at launch, grinding on weekends but kind of really slowing down now* I switch back between caring for XP and not. most days I just like to hunt and fish, if I'm close to a map or something I push harder. What is my end goal. IDK. grinding for a couple more tier 3 passives, maybe some more pamphlets (incendiary buckshot and explosive slugs @84 seems exciting) but everything new I buy is kinda of a let down. All the good stuff is around 90 to 100. *This game been in beta so long and I honestly question how much new content they can add. Just so much hunting you can do and how many times I going to deliver a wagon for $10 or less. Mail delivery is lame, I prefer to be shot at this point because it crashes half the time… ... last night was griefer night. Big high level posse cut me to shreds for about ½ hr, did okay in a couple showdown, then Won a free room. Then every low level guys took potshots at me for an hour and they all parlayed away and “reported me to R* for kicking their griefing butts. I don't know, moral of this paragraph is it was a nice change of pace and I'd rather be cut to shreds (and learn from my mistakes) then have to deal with the child like behavior I see in this game…stealing pelts, shooting in the back, cheating. In a way all these MMO and MMORPG are the same now. Needs lots of content update and I'm OCD with persistent bugs that drive me nuts. Honestly it's a love/hate relationship with this game. Something better comes along (marvel for PS4 and switch I'm waiting for) I might bail. They need to do/add something to keep me interested.

I can almost guarantee it on R* end. I should have also added the whole windows thing... when in doubt reboot. Personally I'm waiting for R* to tell me why I spawn into a free room with dirty guns, no hat, and no deadeye right after I clean my guns, drink a potion, and load "never without one". Like I said I had similar problem about a week ago.

You should be able to go into player menu, set camp location, choose small camp and make sure that you hold down the purchase option (I think it's triangle on PS4 ) so R* can get their $2 RDO from you. Then check your map again ...If that doesn't work you probably have to contact support. They did tell me that their is a known bug with camps not spawning or constantly having to pay for a new one (like me) but like everything else no timeline of when it will be fixed.

I'm of the mindset of staying offensive and “letting the chips fall where they may,” adjust when needed. Try both out. I can already envision the easy work arounds griefers gonna use and large portion of griefers fail on first try. How much tax free revenge you going to be allowed? and you probably still going to wind up with tax/time out probably if you self defense. Too many questions and I mind my business if they want to interrupt it, I have solutions to that

I'm on PS4 but generally run with paint it Black, never without one, horsemen, and the one that does a little more damage in free roam If I'm sitting on my horse never without one and horseman are highlighted automatically (appear darker) Ie. If I use dead eye and shooting at someone then all 4 appear darker than normal They are passives so they should switch between them automatically as they become applicable On a side note, as others have noted I don't see a big difference between a tier 1 and tier 3, other than cost, and their really is no documentation that gives %'s other than what is on the card. Horseman seems to work the best and never without one protects you from the headshot griefer.

Yeah I guess i'm not alone with this "overweight bug" it's not an appearance thing (although my girl doesn't look heavy, she sort of looks better with some weight vs. b4 when she looked strung out) it's the stamina thing that's driving me nuts. I do a little running and she's all out of breath and I can't swim for more than a minute. Waiting for her to keel over from heart-attack or spit up blood or something. The slow down in running is sometimes the difference between a bullet in the back of the head and a delivered bag or something. All they told me is they're working on fixing it. I do like the idea that they should add a bar or meter or something tell you where you stand.

I'm resurrecting an old thread As a public service, R* finally admitted to me that being "overweight " is a known bug (along with the 12 others I submitted) Can't guarantee it but probably don't waste your time (like me) doing sprints, dead lifts of alligator skins, and eating healthy. Apparently no way to lose the weight.

Yeah I'm on PS 4 pro and same thing happens to me all the time. I've contacted support and they tell me to clean the cache. Reboot the unit and hold R1 and L1 as game boots up. (One of the mods posted the details on another thread I believe) Honestly don't think that does anything, I think it's them. Yeah not a lot of talk about Showdown series or free room on this forum so I'll just try to make a contribution. The spawn after death seems random, in my opinion, but agree it's almost always disadvantageous. However sometimes though the respawn seems to definitely go in your favor for a session. The larger the lobby the worse off the re/spawn Without any real evidence I think it is random and R* does that to “level the playing field” but then again I always spawn at same spots whereas competition has different spots. Hostile territory is exception where you almost always respawn near a caputered territory I haven’t figured out a pattern, yet, so if anyone has I'd appreciate it. And agree free room is really frustrating at times because... Sometimes they put you so far away from objective the running becomes a silly waste of time and for some reason a bulk of players just like to pick people off. I don't understand it, if I'm losing bad, I just like to turn my attention to the ones sitting on roofs and shoot them. You can't really win King of the castle against a high rank smart posse who hunkers down and covers all approaches. Need to work on my dynamite skills and/or build a small posse. I do, sometimes, really enjoy the free rooms (most of the time they're fustrating) because I can squeeze out a win and it's quick cash but primarily great XP. It's a beta and like everything else needs some fixes/tweaks.

Well if the subject is on how do we handle griefers all of the sudden tonight I was unable to sell meat or collect stuff at the PO as a penalty. Dude shot me cold back of the head as I pulled into Butcher. then they tried to tag team me. Got 1 of the two, other one ran away. I think that's fair. The time out kinda lame

IDK. I just broke level 70 and I went 4 days without being griefed and then last 2 days have been a shooting match. Mostly griefed after coming out of free rooms. Yes most have been noobs and I shot the whole posse up in one case (so proud of myself) Then you get the occasional hit and run who I like to torment by following them till they parley or sign off But I've also run across couple of high rank guys who I think are just bored wilth the game. One 234 level guy thanked me for fueding with him (and yes he thoroughly kicked my tush) I'm definitely in the they need private lobby's, content update and think they should put bounties that other players can collect on blood red griefers and let the community police itself (although that may devolve into chaos) Most red dots for me seem to be just players having posse fights, let them Duke it out in a private lobby without dumb killing tax
